We returned the item, purchased a pair of Bose that he could use & has done so while riding his bicycle. PS, he loves his Bose.

These are the replacements and I went more expensive, but sound quality isn’t as good and microphone not even close. Still happy. But other JBLs were more comfortable. Got white so I could see them. Lost the black ones.

Posted .Thanks for your feedback, we'll make sure to send this to the right department. Our JBL Free can be individually used as long as the the right earbud is paired to the source, since it's the one capable of pairing with a Bluetooth capable device.

Also doesn't fit that well as compared with other brands.

Stopped working within 6 months , filed warranty replacement with JBL and sent a new pair but these weren’t the best, maybe a bad lot. Ended up giving these to my son and getting AirPod Pro
