You can pair your JBL Free X to your phone with these steps. First, make sure both earphones are charged. Once the right earbud is removed from the case, it will turn on automatically and enter pairing mode. The LED indicator shows alternating blue and white. From your device turn on Bluetooth then search to connect JBL Free. If the earphones would not pair, long-press the JBL Logo on the right earpiece for 8 seconds to it in pairing mode. The LED indicator would blink white and blue. If the left earbud is not syncing with the right earbud, you may tap both earpieces 3 times simultaneously to re-connect. For phone calls, the headphones automatically switch into mono, for a more natural call experience. I totally dislike these ear buds ! ! I am sooooo disappointed that I missed the cut off date to return the is it 14 days or 30?? If its 30 I still have time. These are the WORST Not user friendly Only the right one comes on easier than the left. You might get carpal tunnel testing to push and fer the left one to work.bit pauses then it plays sometimes delayed. Oh how I dislike these what a waste of my money and my time

After taking this out of the box, the right earbud did not work/would not turn on. Since the left side needs to connect to the right to work, both earbuds are useless. Tried to get warranty service but since I am abroad at the moment, their is no service center where I can get this serviced. JBL needs their quality control to improve.

Right side only functions

I did own this product for few days and my experience have been, the right side only works and if that runs out of charge, yiu have to keep it out of the charging case in order to use the left ear piece. Once you attempt to place the right piece in charging case the left side disconnect.
Not worth a buy.

First pair I bought the left ear bud was DOA. Went to Best Buy and exchanged them. Second pair works but they wont stay connected to each other. They constantly go in and out of sync which makes for a terrible listening experience. Probably should just return them but going to hold on to them for now and consider it a loss since they were on sale for $60.
