It just doesn’t seem like JBL. Even the small JBL speakers usually pack a punch. This does not but it is small and cheap so I was expecting it to be average but it’s not close to real JBL quality. The battery life is terrible which is not like JBL at all. Anything I purchase online even name brands that I’ve aways known and trusted it’s still junky. If it was JBL quality I’d have given 3 stars despite the sound quality/volume Id have given 4 if it had even a half way decent battery life. Expect an hour at best. I put the speaker inside the bowl of my KitchenAid mixer to get better sound and it still isn’t loud enough. Just go to WM and buy their brand. I’ve never used any other charger than the charger that came with it because it’s probably cause an issue given the poor quality

Loud and clear in a compact, easy to carry chassis. The sound is good, battery life is decent, and the build quality is rugged. The volume is able to fill a mid-sized room (or a studio style house) with adequate clarity. The battery lasts between 4-5 hours on a full charge and it uses type-c. It is also wrapped with this rugged yet oddly pleasant fabric that seems to hold up after several adventures. Probably the best bluetooth speaker option at this size and if you get it on sale its well worth it. You can clip it to your backpack or belt loop and it will go wherever you go. It is also waterproof to a degree and is able to withstand a direct stream from the faucet. If you are in the market for one of these then you probably will look at the Sony SRS-XB13 as well. From my experience, the sony is a bit larger, not as loud or as durable, and is a bit more awkward to travel with. That being said, although it isnt as loud as the JBL, the Sony does sound slightly better but is also $10 more. Another thing to note is the JBL is a directional speaker while the Sony is more of a 360° top firing speaker. However the JBL can also be placed flat to mimic more of a 360° experience. The bottom line is, if you want something for mobile adventures I'd recommend the JBL but if you just need a small speaker that sounds good then maybe the Sony is for you.

For how much it is , it’s completely worth it. It’s actually somewhat loud for the size it is

NEVER BUY ANYTHING FROM BEST BUY UNLESS YOU ARE ABSOLUTELY SURE YOU DO NOT NEED TO RETURN it. I purchased a JBL speak as a Mother’s Day gift on April 26- turns out the person I purchased it for already had one. I went today MAY 16th to return it and learned that they only do 15 day returns (EVEN WITH A RECEIPT AND UNOPENED). NEVER WILL I GIVE THEM ANOTHER CENT- and I will tell EVERYONE I know to do the SAME!!!!

This speaker is great, I bought the JBL GO3 in blue in August 2023. I have quite a few bluetooth wireless speakers (Sonos Move, Sonos Roam, Wonderboom 3, Anker) and I really like this one. I bought this for the shower and it is perfect for that, but I also use it all over the house and take it with me on trips, on the go, etc. This such a great compact speaker that will fit in your pocket but has great sound. The battery life is really good. The power button and the bluetooth connect button are simple to use, easy and they light up. When you power up the speaker, it provides an audio sound that is clear and tells you it is on. No guessing as to weather the power is on or if you pushed the correct button. The bluetooth connect button is clearly labeled and right next to the power button. So many other speakers are hard to decipher the symbols for the buttons. When not in use, the speaker powers off on it's own which is a great battery saver. I really like this when in the shower, because I usually turn the music off and forget to power down the speaker.

Cheap trash, didn't last 3 months of use. Charging port burned out

After comparing reviews or several speakers, I decided to give this one a try. I needed something that is very portable and can play sound in a classroom full of elementary students. Wondered if I would need two of these and if the sound would be distorted. It is most definitely loud enough, no distortion and very portable. The bluetooth had absolutely no problem finding the device and no problems at all with the speaker. Absolutely thrilled with this speaker and one is definitely powerful enough! Have used it several times. Battery life seems great also. I am very pleasantly surprised and pleased with this purchase. Thanks to those who left reviews before, because it answered mostly my question about regarding sound distortion when played loud, so I gave this one a try.

I am very pleased with the sound quality from this little speaker! It is durable and compact. The battery lasts a very long time. The Bluetooth connection is reliable. It is compact and durable enough to throw in a small bag, get bumped around, and be water-resistant. I don't need to worry about using it outdoors in high humidity.

I was looking for a portable Bluetooth speaker that I could use when I travel. The JBL Bluetooth speaker was a great choice for me; it has volume with just the right amount of lows so when the volume is increased the sound doesn’t get muddy. It pairs easily with my IPhone and IPad its compact, sturdy and sounds great.
