JBL for build and sound quality gets an automatic three stars. I specifically bought these speakers for the rated 2.3 Ohm impedance. They are straight up LYING about that spec. My meter reads 3.1-3.3 Ohms and I even went to test other pairs at the store. You might think it's no big deal when comparing 2 vs 3 Ohm but when they are going into a car that will only ever have the stock radio for power it IS a BIG deal. Obviously, the damping factor will go down by decreasing the impedance but that is an acceptable trade off to get about 10% more loudness volume from the speaker by the lower impedance. Every little bit counts when you have only stock radio power to deal with. It's very disappointing that a company like JBL would lie about their specs like this. It also makes me seriously question the accuracy of their 1 watt SPL rating as well but I do not have the equipment to test that.......

Installed these on my 02 Wrangler. Very happy with the quality of the sound, and can easily hear sound with good bass without the doors and top on.

Love JBL speakers. I have the JBL 6.5 component speakers in my boat, car. And truck. These were purchased for the rear doors in my crew cab Chevy Silverado. I put the components in the front. These are about $50 less than the component speakers, but still offer great mids and highs. Don't expect much bass, but.how much can you really expect from a 6.5 inch speaker. I have subs in the boat, car and truck for my deep bass.

Added 2 sets of these to my install of Pioneer radio. These sound great. Good lows and clear highs. Good suggestion from the sales guys at BB!

Haven't used them too long just yet but these are fantastic. Used them to replace the factory JBL speakers in my 2007 Limited 4Runner. Not a huge difference as the Limted has the upgraded JBL system but these were a great refresh after 14 years of use. Everything is far more clear and the bass is much more present. Easy to install yourself with the proper wiring harnesses and mounting brackets. Can't recommend these enough!

Nothing short of excellent! I love this speaker and it made a world of difference! I mostly listen to EDM/house music and classic rock and other genres and they all sound so good. I always find myself wanting to drive my car a lot more to just enjoy my music. Please purchase this 6.5" speaker as you will not be disappointed at all.

Purchased these speakers on sale and got a good deal. Instructions are basically non-existent, just some vague diagrams that aren't very helpful. I highly recommend searching YouTube for install videos for your make and model of vehicle. If you can locate a good instructional video for replacing your front door speakers, these are a great choice. Otherwise, save yourself the headache and pay for the install at Best Buy!

Great sound good bass for a small speaker the clarity of the voices and instruments are great

These speakers have great highs and mid range too. They also have some nice bass to them once you add a amp to it.
