Sound Was Amazing Then Noise Cancelling Failed

One day the noise cancelling feature failed during regular use. I tried resetting the headphones and re-charging them. All to no effect. Had to send them back via JBL's warranty service. Been without headphones for going on 3 weeks now. Intolerable. Also, the JBL mobile app isn't great. If you don't want to pair the headphones with Google Assistant, it never remembers your choice and ALWAYS asks if you want to pair them every time. And this is not bluetooth pairing in general, it specifically asks you to set up Google Assistant every time. What a pain.

I have had a previous version of this headset (E65BTNC) and really loved it but lost it. I found a deal on a Sony headset and was not impressed with the noise cancellation because the JBL was much better on airplanes. This particular item has great sound and excellent noise cancellation, but will not stay connected to Bluetooth. It is useless to me if I must reconnect before a single song can finish playing. I am disappointed.

However, the sound for me was lacking and not worth what was paid for. Also, the headband comes across unforgiving and very tight and mildly attractive inflexible.

Phone app is kinda junk as well and wont connect to headphones, if it does it randomly wont update settings. I'm using a new galaxy s10 phone. Super disappointed in the product. I have used jabra and plantronic bluetooth devices and never had any issues. Attempted to contact there support, opened a case and have never heard back from JBL.
