JBL KNOW HOW TO DO IT. I know there are bigger speakers out there but dang this thing can get loud without distortion and losing base. You really do feel it. The light show is pleasing to the eyes and very controllable through the app along with the eq setting and lots of other stuff. You can even turn the speaker on and on with the app. At medium volume (that is pretty loud) and withbthe light show off I think I got over 11 hours but really dont know because I shut it off and used it more the next day.

Insane sound sound clarity, two levels of bass boost, literally sounds better than a car stereo system. The adaptive light show is remarkable with so many different settings, it has 3.5mm inputs for guitar and microphones with specific settings for both, a removable battery that lasts longer than any speaker ive ever had. JBL held absolutely nothing back with this undeniable beasr.

The loudest speaker I own! Incredible bass! I recommend using deep bass rather than punchy. Punchy is too much and sounds like its gonna destroy the speaker lol. Deep works well with 90% of songs whereas punchy only goes well with some. The battery life is pretty good. I thought I would use the led lights more than I currently do. 80% of the time I have been using the speaker in the background without the lights on. Sounds incredible with stereo (two of these speakers connected). My friend bought one so we connected them and it sounds incredible! The range for stereo is impressive! We used the two speakers for an indoor/outdoor party for a big house and big backyard. We thought wed have to keep the speakers fairly close otherwise the connection may be spotty but we had one on the farthest part of the house and the furthest part of the backyard and they worked flawlessly!!! My friend and I were both very impressed with this!

We are extremely pleased with the sound quality of this device, and its compact size is just perfect. I'm beyond satisfied with this JBL speaker. I've only used it outside, but it gets pretty loud at numbers 65-70; I've never even turned it all the way up yet. I've also never used the second bass boost setting either, because you get so much bass in the first bass boost setting, I can't imagine anyone ever using the second one. I don't use the lights, but I have turned the setting on once or twice, just to see what it looks like at night, and it looks pretty good. But I'm in my 50's now... I don't need blinking lights while the music is playing. Maybe if I were younger, I'd be interested in something like that, but not now. I honestly can't say how much battery life time it really gets, because I've never drained the battery all the way. After use, I usually just top it off for the next time. The longest I've played it might be 4-5 hours straight, but that never comes close to draining the battery, so I really can't say. I can say that the phone app that you can download for the speaker once said that I had 60 something percent of the battery life left after playing it at about 70% volume level, and on the bass boost 1 setting, and no light show for about 5 hours, so maybe it can reach the claimed battery life time... I don't know. But in closing, all I can say is that the speaker really sounds good, and I'd definitely recommend it to anyone. I've even used it a few times driving around in my Jeep Wrangler...it sounds better than what's in there now. They say that you get what you pay for, and even though this isn't the cheapest speaker on the market, you're definitely getting a lot more for your money with this one.

I first purchased the sony xp500 it sounded great in store but once i got home I realized it wasnt that loud, after doing some research I came across the jbl 110 and seen it was the same price (both were on sale) and that it was suppose to be louder so i exchanged the sony and got the jbl and i am 10x happier with the jbl. Its much louder. Depending what you plan to use it for , both are nice. Sony would be good for indoor use but if you want something to bring to a party then definitely go with the jbl. You wont be disappointed!

This speaker really packs a punch! Very balanced sound as well. Highs, mids, and lows are all fairly balanced (except when you’ve got the optional bass-boost, which is ok but can make everything sound a little muddy if the frequencies are super low). The JBL app is a great tool as well for lighting effects and microphone effects. Also, if you and your friends (or just you tbh) love karaoke I would HIGHLY recommend getting a simple XLR mic because this is a great karaoke experience. You can also plug any instrument into it with the 6.35mm jack (another microphone as well if you want to duet with someone) but I haven’t really tested that so I can’t give a confident opinion on that. Battery life is dependent on how many of the lighting effects you got going on and how loud it is. If you keep it at a reasonable volume it will last for hours; even longer if the lights aren’t on. However, if you’re blasting this thing it will drain the battery pretty quick, so if that’s the case I’d recommend just having it plugged in. Overall, I’ve had quite a lot of fun with this speaker. Great for parties, camping, working out, casual listening, karaoke, and if you have a soundboard app on your phone annoying your friends with that is worth all the money.

If you want a good speaker with explosive sound, this is a go-to. It is easy to set up and light enough to be portable with Bluetooth making it an easy and very useful speaker. This is one for house parties or even tailgates. My house rumbles with how strong the bass on it is. I recommend this speaker very much!!

I wanted a Bluetooth speaker to keep plugged in in my home office to listen to music while I worked. I got a cheap no name brand on Amaz*n, tested it out for maybe 15 minutes when I got it then when I went to use it while I worked a few days later, it wouldn't turn on. So I decided to get a reputable brand and wanted the JBL party box encore but it wasn't available at a store locally and I'm impatient. I got the 110 instead. It is WAY bigger than I anticipated lol. That's my bad for not looking at the size specs. I set it up and turned it on, easy to pair with my phone. Quickly realized this was way overkill for my little bedroom home office. I had to download the app just to get the equalizer so I could turn the bass all the way down (that's even with bass boost off). The speaker is amazing. Sounds so good, very loud, clear... I absolutely love it! I wish I had another use for it but we're a house full of speaker junkies, husband has big studio monitors for DJing, etc so I can't think of another room to use this in that doesn't already have a sound system. I was done working at 4 but didn't want to leave my office and stop listening to music on my new speaker hah. I ordered the encore and will be returning this big boy in a week once I get the encore, even though I'm sad about it. If you need a loud, amazing sounding bluetooth speaker, this one is for you! Especially if it's for a bigger space.

While this speaker may be small in size, it is large and amazing in sound & bass output. It produces crystal clear sound loud enough to clearly be heard in a large party. Additionally, the lights can be customized via the app and follow the music and bass amazingly. Not to mention the outstanding battery life. Would recommend.

This is my 3rd JBL PartyBox. I initially purchased the 100 but got a hold of a 110 through a friend and they do not pair - unfortunately. So, I was able to get another 110 (brand new) for pairing and it's AMAZING. I'm a firm believer and big fan of JBL and all of their products. The paired 110's are LOUD, you do have to raise your voice to speak with someone in the same room (as a loudz scaling example). The bass is awesome, the lights are friggn' cool. I do find the flash a bit distracting but you can turn it off. I'm stoked to use this as an amp for my instruments but I haven't tried that yet. Cons I wish all JBLs could wirelessly connect with each other. I wish there was a way to connect them to my TV easier but that's not really why I got these. I have a sound bar for my TV set-up. Overall, these are fun and feed my needs for loud party times.

I love the speaker ! It has a smaller size compare to the other models so it takes less space to store. Sound is amazing , clear with great base. Love the lighting features too. I feel the battery lasts forever. If you can catch it on sale it’s an amazing deal !

I love this speaker. It’s the perfect size and portable. It sounds amazing and gets pretty loud. The lights are pretty neat, I like that you have the option to have certain light combos on and you can also turn the lights off if you don’t need them. You can also charge this speaker and use it without having to plug it in.

I take this speaker everywhere I go. It’s amazing. The sound quality is above average with bass options. Little heavy to carry around but it’s tough so it can handle the dings. Love that it has the ability to be mounted on a stand. This sets it apart from all the other speakers. The JBL app is very helpful and easy to use.

Great, balanced sound, with the potential to be really loud! For a party of 15 people or more, something this size is needed. And if you like having more control over things like bass and mid-range, there's a graphic EQ in its companion app. It also has a long-lasting battery life, water-resistant shielding, and lights that you can customize. It's the perfect party speaker, and just small enough to make it portable for your friends' parties too. If you sing or play an instrument it also those inputs and I've experimented with a mic. Couldn't be happier. I'm also thinking it will be great for karaoke at the next party!
