Nice speaker but the battery is bad it dies in like 2-3 hours at full volume

I love this thing and I’ve been using a lot and I wanna get another one of these.

Great speaker! Sound is absolutely amazing! You can jam out to any kind of music and it always sounds great! Battery life could be a little better. Size is good! Very easy to use and set up with the app.

This one right here blew my mind! absolutely love this portable speaker! the bass is unreal & is a perfect Speaker for the BEACH , COOK OUT , PARTYS I 100% recommend it if your looking for a step up from the JBL Charge 5 or other Portable speakers, has some heft to it but nothing too crazy with the handle you can take it anywhere & the LIGHT SHOW is just a nice BONUS - Battery could be better , you looking at about 6 full hours of mid-high blast with bass but if you turn off LED LIGHT SHOW you can get around 7-8 hours MID LEVEL VOLUME

Wow. I have a $700 Bose S1 Pro+ in my living room and just got this $200 speaker to put in my bedroom. I CANNOT tell a difference in sound quality. And this things gets loud. I love the lights. I wish my Bose had lights.

This little speaker packs a serious punch for its size. The sound quality is impressive, and the bass is awesome. However, the battery life is a downside, it only lasts about 3 to 4 hours at full volume. You’ll definitely want to keep the power cord handy. Despite that, I’d still recommend it overall.

I had high hopes for the JBL Partybox Encore Essential, but I will be returning this for an alternative. It sounds excellent for it's size, it's very light+portable, it has an awesome light feature and it has no issues with connectivity. The only issue is the battery life; I play in a softball league and we are at the fields for about 5-6 hours per session. I only get about 3.5 hours with this speaker at high volume with bass boost #1 and the light feature turned off. I previously had an ION Block Rocker Plus which lasted well over 50+ hours on a single charge. While the JBL blows the ION out of the water in terms of sound quality (there's really no comparison), I didn't have to charge it at all for the entire season (that's 9 weeks of games). If the Encore Essential lasted the advertised ~6 hours with my preferred settings, then I'd keep it since I don't mind charging it after each game. But since it can only last about halfway through our normal game day, I have little use for it. If you don't mind the limited battery life or if you have a place to keep it plugged in, then it's a great, fun little speaker.

This speaker is pretty loud, has great base, and easy to carry around with the handle. I love using it, but i do have some CONS about it. Battery life is not that long, but on the plus side you can plug it in and have it playing while charging. The speaker does have to be facing your direction or it's kind of muffled or doesn't sound as loud. Outside of those things, I love my speaker and will be using it for as long as it lasts.

Sound quality is great. Volume level is good. Battery life could be a little longer. But overall 9/10 very satisfied with this speaker. Have the JBL 300 also both very good.

Great sound, base and appearance. The app makes it easy to work the LED and base features. Battery life could be better, but overall its perfect!

Disclaimer- I have solely played it inside my home and I only paid 2 bills for it. That said, I am very impressed by this product. Although the highs are not sparkling, they are pleasant. The low end is where this speaker shines. Absolutely essential to use the app so as to fine tune the sound. Once done, the result is nothing short of enjoyable and impressive. Highly recommended.

WOW. This thing blows be away. The sound quality is so crisp you can hear every instrument in a song. ITS LOUD. This thing will rock your whole house. This thing is no joke the bass is serious and sounds amazing. The app is great and has nice features allows you to turn the speaker on and off through the app and can control bass levels etc. People complain about the battery life but so far I’ve had no issues. I brought it to a Cook out it lasted 6 hours full charge until it needed a recharge which in my mind is impressive for a speaker of this size and is more than enough for my use. Overall love the speaker all my friends always compliment it.

The best sound for the side you can get. Beautiful powerful sound speaker and the light is so wonderful. My only complain is the I wish the battery will last longer. Also you can use any microphone on this speaker by just plugging in the back or a wireless module. It come with the control for the microphone in the back and you can lower or make the speaker sound louder. This speaker is by far my favorite speaker nothing replace JBL value.

I am a tech nut and one of the things I love is Bluetooth speakers! I purchased the JBL party box 120 and I really like it but I wanted something that sounded pretty much as good but was much more compact and the encore fit the bill. For such a small easily transportable speaker it sounds awesome! The base is very deep and rich after trying other Bluetooth speakers that were rated on YouTube that said they had such great deep base they sucked next to the encore.

Loud and powerful. Beautiful light show, easy to connect via bluetooth. Wish battery would last longer.

This is a very good speaker, it has a loud and clear sound, it is a very good size, it is ideal for easy transport because it is not heavy so it makes it much easier to transport, I highly recommend it and I would buy it again, this is the second one I buy.

Great speaker, fun for karaoke with friends. Also purchased the microphones to go with it, no issues with playing music at the same time. Bass is excellent and is easily portable.

Convenient wireless functionality and decent bass sound cost money. It's not a waste. In particular, great volume and clear high notes pull you deeper into calm music. It would be the best if you could feel a little more damping in the low range. I think that's greed. You can enjoy non-distortion sound and wide orientation music with a lot of people. It's great because the sound editing is done with the application
