The quality of the sound is very good and since it has deep bass I can feel the music nicely. And it's portable so it is very comfortable for me to take the speaker anywhere I go, especially when I go to hangout with my friends by the lake. I really like this product and the price is worth it. Additionally, the ranges of color are 360 degrees of eye-catching colors synced to the beat of your favorite songs. And are very spectacular to watch. And the size & shape of the speaker is very comfortable and easy to carry. It has an incredible 20 hours of battery life, JBL Charge 5 lets you party all day and into the night. IP67 waterproof and dust proof. JBL Charge 5 is very nice product, so you can bring your speaker anywhere.

Bought this as a gift for my son, and he absolutely loves it!!! Because of its size I was concerned about the sound quality, but most Bluetooth speakers are that size and this has nice deep base round sound. Not to mention that the cool lights on it enhance listening to the mysix. Its just a great purchase, great product and great price from Best Buy.

It sounds wonderful. Better than the older version this one replaced. I really love the light settings, the weather one is my favorite. I use it in my classroom to connect to my laptop. But the main drawback I feel it has, is that the volume buttons were removed. That’s why I gave it a 4. As far as how loud it can sound, the quality, and all of the other features, it’s an awesome speaker. I have many other JBL speakers and you may sacrifice a few things because you trade off for the lights, but even as an audiophile, I’m still impressed with this. I do also plan to use it for music and parties etc, but my students watch movies and lessons with it, and the sound really makes a difference. It fills my whole room and I’ve been asked to lower it a few times, so that’s gotta tell you something. I definitely still recommend it.

It's a lot clearer and has a lot more bass than it's previous generation, it's heavy which makes it feel high quality. The lights are extremely bright and vibrant. It has a lot of customization in the app, very portable, and the design is absolutely beautiful. Overall, an amazing speaker.

I'm actually quite disappointed in this speaker, and I'm a hug JBL fan. I love my Charge4s, and any JBL headphone I've been happy with. But the Pulse5 seems like a huge quality drop. First the Pros- -Has great sound from any direction -Has an easy to use equalizer on the JBL app -The visuals are awesome(my favorite is the Storm setting) -Has a good battery for having lighting (about 10-12 hours on full blast, watch your eardrums though) Now the Cons- -Has no control buttons. No volume, pause, skip, nothing. -PartyBoost isn't compatible with JBLConnect(old speakers) -PartyBoost is only useable about 6ft from each speaker. I start getting skips and pops at 10ft. -You can't use PartyBoost when connected to a PC. I was hoping to use these with my laptop, but apparently it's a hardware incompatibility. -You can cause a feedback loop if 2 speakers are set to the same source and you enable PartyBoost. Thankfully I prevented any damage, but be careful. Overall, I'd say stick with the old speakers, or wait for a sale. Or just buy one and forget PartyBoost. Also the carry handle is just a 2 inch loop of fabric. It's well constructed, and feels very durable, even has grip lines, but its more suited for hanging off a hook than actually carrying it.

It’s loud, colorful it’s easy to take around with you and it’s waterproof 

This will get you all the attention, from the lights to the sound quality. Its big battery will give u a loud light show and a crowd around it for hours. A cool little party trick to recommend!

Sound is great! But the light pulse completes full package overall. Easy to set up and the trust to its brand as JBL delivers yet again.The price is reasonable and plus bonus when you buy this from bestbuycoz they have the best price out there in the market! Thanks Best buy!

I would give this speaker 5 stars if it held a charge while using the light features. As long as the lights are off the speaker will play for about 20 hours. If the lights are on you get about 3-4 hours of use. The sound is excellent! Overall I’m very pleased with my purchase. I don’t use the light feature that often anyways. I use the speaker outside by the pool and it produces very clear sound and has held up well. I use the speaker daily and haven’t had any issue. The app is also user friendly.
