The lighting effects are better then previous versions and they added in the JBL app different settings including EQ which is a 3 band. The speaker also has features of ambient noise you can play like the ocean, outdoors campfire etc. the notes the speaker produces are crisp and clear. The battery life is great. Some cons for this speaker are the JBL connect to other speakers being party mode only works with the last gen speaker line up not the 3s or older at least at this moment of review. Another con is when you have the speaker in rain or water in gets on it in general the water traps in the top grill and will make the sound quality worse until water is removed however the speaker works great still. USB C is lovely all in all I recommend the speaker I just wish it was a little cheaper by like 50 dollars

Battery doesn’t last
