Decent earbuds, especially for the $, but horrible

Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.The earbuds themselves I would give 4 stars, not the most natural sound signature with way more bass than it should that bleeds into the mids, but that can be addressed with the EQ in the app. Noise cancellation is also underwhelming, but that's not an issue for me. Most of the negatives are with the case. It's bulky for as little battery capacity it has compared to others, but its major flaw is the cavity that the ear tips go in when charging. I hate Silicone and immediately ordered memory foam tips. Won't let the case close or charge the buds. Ordered different shape with same results. I eventually gave up and went with the larger tips that came with the earbuds & they BARElY fit, often having to really squeese the case to make sure they don't accidentally sync with my phone, cutting off the ringer. Thought about dremeling out a bit more space, but worry about how little material there is & possibly hitting electronics. Disappointing, to say the least.

I lose connection on my phone. Cancellation is not good. The cool thing is protection from water and sweat. The case does not respond adequately.
