Only buy it if you want it for music

You do have to use the phone for most commands. The main purpose for this was to use it for phone calls but when you use it for phone calls you sound like across the room with something covering your mouth. Not a good microphone on this. We'll see if the Sony ones do any better.

Great bass. Have recommended them to friends and family already

I work in the weld industry. These puppies block out loud noises in the background. Believe me it’s pound where I work. I highly recommend. Once connected to phone it’s always ready to play , just insert in your ear and viola!
