I’ve owned AirPods for the last year, so I’m comparing these to AirPods. Sound quality- Solid, bass isn’t quite as good (IMO) as AirPods, but it’s very minor. Solid quality sound. Fit- not quite as snug as AirPods, but will still fit well enough to workout with. Can be knocked out easier (for example when taking your shirt off over your head) Connection to smart phone - very reliable Price - very competitive, tough to beat

Earbuds so nice, I bought them more than twice. I got these on a sale and they were so good I bought 3 more as gifts for people. They all loved them too! You get pretty good sound quality for the price range and they have a great battery life!

A Bit Confusing For The First Few Minutes. But...

Gotta admit that this pair has me wondering in the beginning. Bought them today, so I'm going on initial impressions. The TUNE225's charged perfectly out of the box. No issue there. But, I understand the reviewers who warned about people with bigger fingers. My fingers are NOT big and I still struggled to get these things out of the charger. A very tight space to try and grasp them. My initial "pairing" with my OnePlus Android phone was a little curious. My phone had no issue picking them up. But, there were three different choices to choose from. The first one ended up asking me for a random PIN that I didn't have. I ended up choosing the right one after a couple of tries, and then I had music. So, with music playing, I was initially disappointed. The buds didn't seem to fit easily into my ears. And, so, the sound was extremely lacking. Then, I started playing with the angle of how I put them into my ears and I suddenly heard the quality I wanted and expected to hear for the price I paid. I'm still at a crossroads on this one. I may be returning them. And, yet maybe not. I need to test them out another day or two.

I thought that these were going to be great. The sound quality is exactly what I would have expected from JBL at this price point, that is to say, it is decent good for most casual purposes. The call quality is not worth it. It is better to just take the call on your phone. I had troubles being heard and when I was heard, it was muffled. The battery time was quite good I thought. Lasting most of the day that I tried to use them without having to be put back in the case to be recharged. No complaints there. My biggest complaint about them is the fit and comfort. If you are expecting the size of maybe AirPods or other like devices, prepare to be disappointed. They are much larger, relatively at least, and for me didn't fit comfortably in my ears. The longest I could wear them continuously was about 2 hours. After that they hurt my ears and that was only if they stayed in. The hard plastic that they are made of never made it easy to keep them in place. The buds always were slipping out of my ears with little movement. Once once of them fell out of my ear while I was getting dinner from the oven and it fell into the oven. Not good. (They do seem to hold well to high heat - 350F degrees) So unless you have very large ears to set these in and are sitting still most of the time I really can't recommend these. Maybe if they make improvements to size and material quality they would have scored higher. Hopefully this helps you and does discourage you from buying JBL in the future. They are a good brand overall for the average user. Just can't recommend buying these in particular.

Overall, I think these are worth it since I got them on a sale. At full retail, it might be hard to justify when you can find pretty decent, similar earbuds on Amazon for less price. I personally do not prefer in-ear buds so I needed earbuds that would sit on the ear similar to apples non pro airpods and these fit the bill. I almost got the previous 220tws but it was micro usb for charging the case so I held off. This new one uses usb c. The call quality is good. The other person can hear me fine. Music sounds good for the price. These earbuds are not made for sports so they will fall out with slight movements. In conclusion, if you can get these at a discount, I think it's worth it. Don't expect music and call quality to be on par with earbuds that cost 2 to 3 times more.

This earbud was super easy to set up on an Android phone. It charges quickly via USB C cable that connects to charging case. They sound great considering the price. Great value and fully functional for every day use.

    The best Apple Earpod Alternative!

I've been looking for good earbuds for probably 2 years now. I've been avoiding Apple Earpods because of my disdain for Apple products. I probably tried 5-10 different earbuds, ultimately returning each one because they just didn't meet the performance of the Plantronics Voyager Legend (that I've been using for 5+ years). As a last-ditch effort I purchased thee JBL TUNE 225TWS's and told myself I'll give them a shot before caving in and just getting the Apple Earpods. To my surprise, the TUNE 225TWS's met all my expectations!! They are super comfortable, people can hear me on phone calls, and they just work great with my Google Pixel 2. Some improvements I'd like to see are a higher volume for calls and also 3-mic noise cancellation technology for better voice quality when on calls in noisy areas.

I am delighted with the price and quality. However, I like to wear my earbuds in bed listening to music and talk shows. If I lay on my side they hurt my ears.

I originally bought the samsung buds live, for 100$ very comfortable but horrible sound. I returned them and decided to try the JBL tunes for 49.99. At half the price they are slightly less comfortable, but sound way better. These for exactly like air pods, the case is great, a minor note though if you have fat fingers its a little annoying to get them out of the case. Battery lasts a long time. 9 out of 10
