After confirming, kindly do a manual pairing of the earbuds by tapping the left and right buds at the same time. If the earbuds are disconnecting from each other, please check that both of the earbuds have been charged to ensure continuous connection.     Great Sound

    I have been looking for a pair of true wireless earbuds that are comfortable, have good sound, and decent call quality. I have a few already that sound nice, but calls are horrible. I tried three other pair before settling on the JBL Tone 230NC. First the Pros. The sound is great right out of the box! The equalizer in the JBL app helps but isn't necessary on my LG V60 phone. There is plenty of base (for the size) and good mid and highs as well. Just keep in mind these are wireless earbuds, not high end Bose or Sony around-ear cans. The sound-stage is good, especially for Bluetooth earbuds. They also get very loud! The 230NC earbuds are comfortable enough to wear for at least a couple hours straight without my ears getting tired. The medium size tips are secure in my ear and I'm not worried they buds will fall out while I'm on a walk, though I am not sure how well they'd do for runners. Call quality is great! There was no issue on either side of the conversation. Battery life seems to be close to what JBL is claiming. I only lost 10% after listening for two hours straight. All day listening won't be an issue. The earbuds have a good range; I can walk about 30 feet from my phone inside my home before they disconnect. The charging case is easily pocketable and charges fast by USB-C. No wireless charging on this model, but that's OK. The JBL Headphone App is decent, though I still find it annoying that it needs to know my location. ALL headphone apps seem to want that so, again, not a big deal. I like that the app shows the battery percentage of each bud and the case separately. The tap controls on the buds work fine for me, though the options in the app seem odd. Basically, you can't get away from some kind of tap activating a voice assistant. I'm sure i'll get use to this in a few days. Now the one Con. The ANC does works but is weak. It barely makes any difference at all with the fan I have running in the room. On the street, there is a little more noticeable difference; traffic sounds are decreased, but still clearly audible with music at normal levels. Some of the other buds I tried had way better isolation, but they also had bigger flaws in other areas such as being uncomfortable. I feel the ANC should be stronger considering the price. That isn't a deal breaker for me as I am more interest in comfort, good music, and decent call quality indoors. Those aspects are well covered on the the JBL 230NC. I didn't get to test calls in noisy conditions. I'm guessing that Bose or Sony buds have better voice isolation, but are least 50% more expensive and not necessarily as comfortable. All in all, for the price point, I'm not sure there is anything that can beat the sound, call quality, battery life, and comfort of these wireless earbuds.

    1 month in and they wont turn on too bad 14 day exchange is up

    They are ok comfort wise but I got these on sale for 50$ and they simply suck save up and get better they do not connect right battery life sucks one earbud charges other does when it feels like . Sure there were cheaper options that are better than these

      Thank you for taking the time to provide us with your feedback. The manual pairing of the earbuds of our JBL Tune 230NC TWS can be done by tapping the left and right bud at the same time. If the earbuds are disconnecting from each other, please check that both of the earbuds have charge to ensure continuous connection. Lastly, try to reset the earbuds to fix the issue. To reset it: Tap the touch control of the left or right earbud twice, and on the second time, after tapping, hold it for 5 seconds, and put both earbuds back in the charging case and they will reset to their factory default. A RESET will wipe all previous settings and pairings, so it will be necessary to pair your headphones with your devices again. If you need help, please reach out to our customer support. JBL

    The JBL wireless earpiece was not to my liking an I had to return them due to poor quality of sound when on a phone call. The price is very reasonable if you only want them to listen to music while you working out or something.

    I’m having a lot of issues with them. They won’t turn off when I put them in the case. When I take them out sometime only one will turn on. They both have a rattling noise and I’ve never dropped them.

      We're here to help with your JBL Tune 230NC TWS. We recommend cleaning the contact pins on the case and earbuds using a cotton swab with alcohol. These pins are sensitive to dust. Please make sure the pins are dried before placing it back on the case. If you still need help, please contact our customer support. JBL

    One side stop working after two months

    This product worked okay for the first 2 months with minimal use. Now the right side has stopped working, this is apparently a common problem. JBL return process, ship the until back, and then they’ll send out a replacement unit… This is a 2 weeks process at a minimum. Save your self the hassle and get a better product.

    I bought it. It has nice sounds but unfortunately it's keep disconnecting from your devices my friend bought the same one and he's suffering from disconnecting everyday.

      We're sorry to hear that your replacement JBL Tune 230NCTWS' charging case won't hold a charge. Please try to fully charge the charging case as well as the earbuds and test if you will still experience the same issue. Try to use a different charger and Inspect the charging port of the unit if there are damages or debris on the charging port of charging case and charging contacts inside the unit which prevents it from charging properly.
