Does not fit well. Falls off because arms are too short. Might work well for a kid. Not flexible as it should be. Flex joints came apart. I would not recommend.

The JBL/Under Armour Flex headphones are the latest addition to my wireless headphone collection. I got these to use in more intense workout (or just work) situations where true wireless in-ear buds could fall out. So far, I've been pretty impressed with the battery life--pretty close to the advertised 12 hours between charges, and the 5 minute quick charge truly gives you nearly an hour of listening time. Sound quality is typical for JBL and for buds this size. Don't expect thumping bass response or soaring highs. That's just not what these sort of headphones are designed for. Volume gets sufficiently loud and there's little muddiness at higher volumes. The big downside for me is using these while running. The band tends to flop on my neck and gets irritating pretty quickly. I can't speak to durability as of yet, but they seem fairly well built so I'm hopeful they will last quite some time.

I've had these headphones for a little less than a week now and while they are a decent set of headphones, there are better options available. Right out of the box these came about 90% charged so I was able to pair them and begin using them immediately. They come with three different sizes of ear tips to fit practically anyone, as well as a micro-USB cable and operating instructions. They did not come with a carrying case which is surprising for a pair of headphones that cost $130. I have a pair of JLab Epics that cost less than these that came with a case. Pairing was pretty simple and straightforward. I paired them with my iPhone and noticed that they sounded pretty good for wireless headphones. These are advertised as headphones for an active lifestyle, particularly runners. They are very sturdy, comfortable and are noise cancelling as well. They have a light that flashes on the back of the neck band that can be changed to three different types of flashes. This is a great feature for a runner as the more reflective material you have, the safer you are on those night or pre-dawn runs. As someone who has recently gone back to running, I don't care for the noise cancelling and lack of any adjustability to the sounds. The last thing I want when running is to not be able to hear what's going on around me. This is part of the reason, I gave these two stars. Additionally, the buttons are pretty stiff. When trying to change the track or increase the volume, you have to apply a decent amount of pressure to change them. I also don't like that there are controls on both sides of the neckband. The left side controls the pause/play and Siri/Voice assistant as well as the LED lights on the neckband and the right side controls the volume and tracks. Again, using the buttons requires an excessive amount of pressure in my opinion. I also had problems when receiving calls. It might be because I was still getting used to them, but it was difficult to answer calls using the buttons and there is also no caller name identification. I thought that simple feature was pretty standard on wireless headphones, but its not on these. That is a big bummer for me as I don't always want to pull out my phone or look at my Apple Watch when determining if I want to answer a call. I also was not able to pair these with multiple devices. I initially connected them to my iPhone X and tried to pair them with my Google Pixel and iPod and no joy. Again, that may be user error as the directions seem to indicate that this can be done by holding the play button for 2 seconds while its powered off. All in all, these are a decent set of headphones, but for the price and features, I would look elsewhere. The JLab Epic Executive headphones are about $30 less and have better features, but are noise cancelling as well. I guess for running I will stick to my PowerBeats, but for exercising and working in the yard, I will go with the JLabs or Bose SoundSports. I would not recommend these.

The JBL Under Armour Flex headphones are what I have been wanting in sport headphones which is COMFORT. The JBL Flex eliminates the snagging that I would experience with my previous wireless headphones with the sleek, hardshell neckband that slips around the neck. If it’s too loose then with hardly any effort, you can make bend the neck arms so that there’s a tighter fit. I’m able to have a full rotation of my head without the consequence of snagging on the necklace that’s beneath my t-shirt during laps or when the simple wire would ‘stick’ to the back of my neck because of sweat or moisture. The earbuds on the Flex don’t pop out of my ears because of snagging or high impact movements. I also have to note that the Flex earbuds are a really secure fit that provides a deeper listening experience. During my laps, I like to listen to high energy music and even podcasts, the sound is rich which is something that one would get with higher end, casual headphones. I have to celebrate the range that the Flex has when it comes to distance. With my previous sport headphones, if my phone was below my waist, the audio would struggle to maintain a connection. With the JBL Flex, I’ve tested it out up to 25ft and there wasn’t any loss of sound or connection which means you’re not obligated to keep your device in an armband to maintain a connection. There’s an added bonus to the Flex headphones with the LED lights that make you visible for the evening runs/walks. This optional feature is activated with the press of a button. I’ve used the Flex headphones for phone calls a couple of times so far and there wasn’t any issue with the call quality. I was able to hear and be heard with the person I was talking to. The charging time for these is really efficient which is complemented by the fact that the USB charge port is easily accessible instead of trying to pry it open. It’s the little things that make you appreciate the product even more. I honestly cannot find anything negative to say about these headphones and I don’t think you will either.
