Excellent Active-Use Wireless In-Ear Headphones
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The JBL - Under Armour Sport Flex Wireless In-Ear Behind-the-Neck Headphones have a lot going for them. Great sound. Actually, some of the clearest sound with sufficient bass that I’ve heard so far in bluetooth headphones. The around-the-neck form factor feels just right. Not too heavy, but substantial enough to stay firmly in place - you can use them during activities with confidence. The buds fit very well in my ears and the whole unit was comfortable to wear. Locating and using the controls took a little longer to dial in than I’m used to with these kinds of headphones. However, once practiced, I found them accessible, useful and straight-forward to use. All-in-all, these are excellent wireless in-ear headphones.

Mediocre at best
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. So I've been wearing these headphones for about 3 weeks. I have had many necklace style headphones in the past. I have worn the LG's with the retractable ear buds as well as many other types of this style. As for the UA/JBL's firstly what I like about them. They are by far the lightest I've warn. I work outside in the sun throwing chains over 50k lbs loads of steel. You know man's work and the do not get slippery when sweaty. The silicon part that helps keep them in place in you ear is soft and comfortable and really you cant even feel it. Lastly the quick charge is a life saver. I constantly run the battery out because I use them 14-16 hours a day. Both for music and talking. That being said. The reason why I gave these headphones such a low rating is for the following reasons. Firstly the buttons are flat with the necklace. So it makes it hard to differentiate what button is which. Also the buttons are really hard to press. You really have to get in there with a nail to press the button to answer a call. There is no way to check the battery. It will let you know when its low but that about the extent of it. The microphone as far as far as I can tell are not noise canceling. The unit disconnects from the phone randomly and for seemingly no reason. There is no button to reconnect without turning the headset off then on again. The ear buds are a little big. They make my ears sore after a couple hours or so. I will be returning them to best buy and getting another pair. Hope you found this review helpful.

Good headphones
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.JBL has done their homework when it comes to making a pair of headphones geared toward workouts. These are extremely simple to wear, with a great fit out of the box to my ears. The neckband is a fairly comfortable fit and is adjustable so you can find that perfect spot between too loose and too tight. Sound quality is fairly good, but not audiophile level. I didn't find anything to complain about with these sport oriented bluetooth headphones. Very flexible to fit, easy to charge and have some water resistance. Quite happy with these.

Give the design a chance, I'm glad I did....
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. At first blush, I was taken back by the design. I was thinking "What, why are these things just hanging here". But then as I explored these for awhile, it became more clear what was going on. They are a neckband wearable, with the actual earphones that will be placed into your ear. Okay, many of those over the ear bands are awkward and hard to get on and off. These do something different. The sit on the part of the ear just above the ear canal - not on top of the actual ear. So, you push the earphone part into your ear and then the brace sits on the inner side of ear, not on top of the ear. Big difference. These fit nicely in this spot, find their resting spot easily, and there is no fussing around with getting them in a comfortable way. Was I shocked about the design? Yes. Does it now make perfect sense? Absolutely! These have some other cool things, like the back of the band (that would face traffic behind you) can illuminate with a light that gently blinks (not a strobe light) to give you a possibility cars might see you at night. It isn't going to light your way or anything, but in total darkness it may get someone's attention; when out jogging/walking and it is dark, anything is better than nothing. They are rated at 12 hours of run time between charges, and I found that was the minimum. I don't play them at a high volume level, so I guess if I did, maybe 12 hours is more accurate? The fact they are rechargeable so easily, was nice. And they rate the speed charge that with 5 minutes of charge, you get an hour of play - great if you were going out for a run/walk and forgot to charge them, 5 minutes for an hour. I did't stay out for an hour, but found that a fast charge did work well. IMPORTANT: In the box under the headphones is your micro USB cable BUT ALSO is a box with 2 other sized earphone adapters. If you have smaller or larger ear canal openings, you will want to know about these and not accidentally throw them out. A nice product, made by JBL and marketed using the Under Armor branding. The sound? Amazing. The ability to shed the noise of the outside world while being able to listen MY stuff and not everything around me was refreshing. Great job, nice product!

JBL UnderArmour Sport Flex Wireless Headphones
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. So I've been testing out these headphones for the last few days and in my opinion, they are average. They're not horrible, yet not that great either. Unboxing them you will find the usual documentation along with a charging cable, and extra earbud replacement covers. One thing that I did like are that they are lightweight and I do love the concept of them being placed behind your neck. However, it felt a little too close to my neck, not uncomfortable just weird in a way. Connecting them via bluetooth worked as expected with no complications. But when it came to volume, I feel like these headphones were a little flat in that department. With the volume turned all the way up (there's an audible beep when its at max), the headphones didn't really sound all that loud to me. The sound that it did produce was clear and crisp just not loud enough. Also there was no bass. Again these aren't bad, just not that great compared to similar headphones in the same price range that I've tested and tried recently.

Awesome Headphones
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. These headphones have stood the test of time. Durable and able to hear music and calls very clearly. They stay put while running and biking which is why I bought them to begin with. I wasn't expecting much out of battery lift, but they really have exceeded expectations. Great product if you are active and want a solid headphone.
