    Great workout headphones. I'm not an audiophile, so they sound fine to me. I have used them for lifting weights and running on the treadmill. They were comfortable and most importantly, stayed in place, for both activities. I have removed the ear cups just to see how easy they were to take on / off, but I haven't washed them yet so not sure how well they retain their shape once washed.

    I've heavily used these headphones for about a month (40 Miles of White Mountain Hikes, 40 Miles of runs, Lawn Mows, lots of sweating and light rain). They have performed as I hoped. I like the tight fit as I don't want headphones flopping around when I run or scramble over rocks. I typically wear them for 2-4 hours at a time (love audiobooks when I hike). They aren't as comfortable as the lush/over-ear models like the Bose, but those wouldn't last on my rainy/sweaty days, and they would fall off on many hikes. The controls are fantastic. They are the easiest of many that I have tried. The sound quality is just "Good"; these are not for audiophiles. However, I got these headphones for their ability to survive outdoors and function well during workouts and runs. For that, they are OUTSTANDING. They also work "OK" on conference calls. Bottom line: If you are looking for on-ear headphones for active and sweaty use, I highly recommend the JBL Sport Train.

    These are the best headphones to use in a gym setting. Volume is loud, but not extreme and during my workouts, it has not gotten so loose as to slip off my head. I have not used it during outdoor runs, but just on the treadmill. The Rock version is the same, you're just paying more to have the Rock's logo on it.
