The ONLY reason they got 4☆ was because, anyone with slightly large, or fat fingers, will have a hard time getting the headphones out of the casing. Other than that.. Great sounding with good base and clear tones. Not disappointed at all..!!!

Definitely recommend if you don’t want to pay that AirPod price. Picked them up for a week’s vacation and they were absolutely awesome. Zero issues what so ever. JBL app makes setting up very simple.

1 month in and I’m extremely satisfied with my JBL Vibe Beam earbuds.
They have to rank these in the top 3-5, current market, of Price vs “Quality and all the Bells and Whistles” included.
I personally would have been willing to pay almost double the $40. I paid at Best Buy just based on the.Equalizer app, programmable, touch gestures on each earbud, and the Bluetooth find my buds which works surprisingly well.
To sum it up, this has been one of the best purchases I’ve made in quite a while.

I was searching for wireless ear buds and came across this. Read the specs and lots of reviews and seemed like a good choice for my needs. This was on sale for black friday for $30 so I figured, why not. I ended up returning it because it didn't work for me.
The quality felt pretty good. Didn't seem like some cheapo buds that you see at the dollar stores. It was already fully charged so I didn't have to wait to use it. Downloaded the JBL app, paired it and everything worked fine....for the first day but I'll get to that later.
This unfortunately did not fit me at all. The left ear bud was ok but my right ear bud was downright painful after ten minutes. I thought maybe it was the silicone tips so I switched them out with the smaller one, then the larger one. Neither helped. I tried some of the spare ear tips I had from my other earphones and found one that was bigger that made it somewhat comfortable. However, it was too big so it didn't really sit in my ear at all and any sudden movements made it pop out. The other issue was that the bigger silicone tips wouldn't fit in the case so there was no way to charge it unless you used the stock ear tips, which hurt my ears....see the dilemma?
The touch input was actually intuitive, compared to the other ear buds I had looked at. You also have the option to change it to your liking through their app but I didn't feel the need to change it because I liked the way it was.
The app and Bluetooth were where it was a letdown. The app is actually very good. There's not a ton of settings you have to go through to find what you're looking for. Everything's pretty much where you expect it to find. The stock eq setting is way too bright, to the point of the highs being piercing your ears (at least for my sensitive hearing). There are three presets but those are a joke, but you have the option of adjusting your own eq and make that a preset.
The problem with the eq is that it's a ten-band eq. For the average person who doesn't understand what each frequency does, it can be a real challenge to find a good sound. I have a musical background so I have a general knowledge of how each frequency affects the other so I was able to get a great sound from these ear buds. The other problem with the ten band eq is that it's not static, it's dynamic. Meaning, instead of being able to adjust each frequency by itself, you can pretty much pick wherever you want, which can be a problem since you don't know exactly where your marking point is for that specific frequency. To put it differently, if you select the 4K frequency, you can't tell if it's exactly at 4K or if it's at 4.7K because you can't set it exactly at that point. It's nice in that you can pick anywhere from one to ten bands for adjustment but it's nearly impossible to select the exact band. Every time I messed with it, it always deviated so I couldn't make my last preset sound exactly the same as the new one, with just one frequency changed.
Another thing that was a letdown was that the app is not available for a desktop. Fortunately, I have an eq app on my mac so I was able to get it exactly how it should sound. While these ear buds can't produce thumping lows, you can get really nice bass out of these, once you can get the eq right.
I tried to take a pic of the app but it wouldn't pair after the first time. That's when it stopped pairing altogether. The Bluetooth connection was spotty at best from the beginning, even when I was right next to the source. Usually one side would cut out, then the other. Then a few seconds later it would pair. It happened so many so times that I lost faith in these ear buds so I just returned it.
You may have better luck than I did but it just didn't fit my ears. If you can set the eq correctly, you'll love the sound. Otherwise, it can be kind of a pain to mess with. JBL should offer a simple 3 or 5 band eq, instead of the way it's set up now. Hope this helped.

Sounds okay. Can't talk on the phone if one 1 is in. They're not terrible but not that fantastic, in my opinion

Excellent audio earphones. Best earphones I've ever owned for the price. Love the warranties and quality products from Best Buy, and the sound is exceptional! They are wonderful

Great little ear buds for the price. My biggest issue is them not staying in my ears super well but I have that issue with virtually all ear buds. Other than that, no complaints

You are getting what you pay for with these earbuds. They sound decent. However, if you’re using them to talk on the phone, they pick up every bit of background noise which is annoying to whoever youre talking to. But, for the price, they are a pretty good buy if you just need an inexpensive set of buds.

Clean and great sound for the price. Perfect balance between highs and lows. I love the app, too, where I can control the equalizer. I will definitely recommend this product.
