This speaker honestly sounds amazing! It’s even better when plugged in, but still good on battery power. Very portable as well. Highly recommend.

This is a replacement for a previous unit that stopped taking a charge. Best Buy warranty was worth it in this instance. Overall it's a great speaker and I definitely recommend the JBL portable speakers over any others.

Great speaker. Holds charge for a few days and great sound. Thought its be louder due to size but it sounds awesome.

Great speaker but it isn't more loud that extreme 1 and it costs 100 more, not good in price

Great sounding speaker for its size good volume as we’ll very awkward to hold with one hand but not to heavy if using the strap to carry around

Definitely better options out there but for the price it gets the job done. Avoid using at max volume bc the last one i had the speaker blew out pretty early

Not impressed by the extreme 2.. not mich louder than my jbl charge 2, no bass, the extreme 1 sounds better. Took this one back and got the jbl boombox and WOW this thing is loud and has tons of bass.... Get the boombox or extreme 1 over this you’ll be much happier

the sound is excellent and the size of the speaker is perfect. The jbl speakers in my personal opinion is the best sound!

Out this speaker for the river. Battery help you great, waterproof is great as described. Not pricey but Would recommend.

I purchased this speaker and the Bose resolve+ at the same time to try and pick the best one. I really couldn’t tell you which one is “better”. My family changed our mind from time to time. Overall the Bose resolve+ seems to be better built and had a better “quality” sound but at times I felt the JBL hit a little harder and sounded better on certain songs. However when using a speaker outdoors you can’t really feel the “hit” so ultimately the Bose edges the JBL out in most categories

Sounds decent. Bass is good. Was expecting the sound quality to be a bit better.
