I went to the store to buy a new Bose speaker and ended up with this JBL. I thought the bass sounded better on this than on the Bose. The sound quality is great. The speaker is a bit heavy, if you're thinking of actually carrying it around. So far, I'm very happy.

This thing is amazing, it sounds great, no matter the genre. It has great bass, clear vocals, a rugged design, two charge out ports for phones or other devices, a water resistant body and a JBL connect feature. If you want a phenomenal speaker and have the extra cash to pay for it, you will not be disappointed.

Good size and great sound. Battery lasts a good while before needing to be charged. Shoulder strap makes this easy to carry around when needed.

The JBL Extreme Bluetooth speaker is a very capable wireless speaker with excellent bass. The sound is crystal clear and volume is more than adequate to fill a small to medium room with great sound. USB charge ports and speakerphone capability are great extras. One of the better Bluetooth speakers at this pricepoint, easily comparable to Bose and Sony and actually better in my opinion.

If you like the jbl charge 3 this is the big daddy to it.A little larger but with the size comes better sound,for the price its a no brainer

We purchased this to use at the beach and around the house. Sound is excellent even at higher volumes. Bluetooth works well with multiple users and easy to setup. Battery life is great also, but playing at higher volumes decreases life of battery but still lasts a long time. Played for up to 10 hours and still had some battery life left. Just recharged to be ready for next day

Sound quality is good.battery life is great and being able to pair up multiple speakers is a great feature to expand the sound even more.

I think tested every portable Blutooth enabled speaker set in the store and Jo concluded that this was the best bang for your buck. Other than maybe two others that were priced significantly higher, this had the best sound. After having it at home for a few weeks now, I'm not disappointed. It fills my one bedroom apartment with rich, deep sound.

While we wait for it to warm up here in Syracuse NY to fully get use of this amazing speaker, we have been using it at home just for casual music listening. we’ve only charged it TWICE in 2 months. Amazing battery life and the sound is clear and loud. I can’t wait to utilize this on our boat this summer. It being waterproof is the cherry on top!

Great sound from a small package. Music fills a large room when it is only at half volume. Should work great by the pool next summer.

Nice all around speaker. Nice volume and bass. Doesn’t distort much. I even have it connected to my tv instead of using a sound bar.

I purchased this to replace my Pill XL (recalled). First I bought Fugoo, but returned it. Sound was kind of muffled. So I bought this instead. Not quite as loud as Pill XL for outdoors in big areas. But the sound quality is better. Good battery life and water resistant. I am satisfied. It was on sale, $50 off. After recall money, I got a better speaker and pocketed $75.

I own the Charge 3 and just wanted a bigger one for my garage. The sound and clarity on JBLs are awesome. This thing packs a punch.
