This is the best sounding speaker!! It's loud and the bass is amazing packs a big punch! I had the UE MEGABOOM and this by far takes the cake! It's splash proof not water proof please note that! Meaning it can take spills and rain but you can't go putting it under water it will get damage!!

We have two other smaller JBL speakers and they are great. This one is big and badder then the rest. It is louder with the same great should. It is water proof and we use it around the pool. No problems when it rains or water is splashed. It says six feet have not tried that.

There is no similar to this wireless speaker, long bettery life and the best sound quality!

Was more than what I originally wanted to spend but well worth the buy. I love the sound quality as well as the volume. Easy instructions and great battery life.( by battery life I mean I generally have my phone hooked up via Bluetooth and I clean house for about 4-5 hours and this thing stay charged no problem well past this actually.) I can carry it anywhere in my two bedroom apartment and it be in range of my phone for connectivity if my phone is left in one spot on the far end. I have used this in the bathroom a couple of times to listen to music as I shower although I don’t do it often bc of the moisture buildup and lack of ventilation fan. Overall great product no complaints!!!

I EXCHANGED TO THIS WONDERFUL DEVICE FROM THE HARMON KARDON ONYX II AND IT WAS WELL OVER THE TOP WORTH IT SOUND DOESNT DECREASE THAT MUCH WHEN UNPLUGGED ITS WATER PROOF PRETTY COMPACT COMPARED TO THE ONYX I JUST LOVE IT AD IM AN AVID MUSIC LISTENER PLUS IT CAN HER IT IN MY LOUD FACTORY

I went to best buy on Thanksgiving want to see what they have for sale and saw this speaker on sale from $300 to $150 is 50% off and got good reviews when i turned on the first time and fell in love with it as the sound of the music way better than playing on my phone and now i turn on the music to put me to sleep every night .This is the best Christmas gift so i went and bought one more for my brother .

Did a lot of research. Sound is not Bose quality but good enough for me. Very good bass.

I bought this speaker while in Florida for a beach wedding. We wanted loud enough sound to hear the wedding processional over the ocean. This thing was awesome! It allows you to pair other JBL speaker to it so you can have surround sound. I was going back and forth between this JBL speaker and the Harman Karden speaker that was $300 more. I am so happy I made the JBL choice. Definitely worth the $299.

I purchased this speaker after previously purchasing its smaller JBL cousin. It sounds great and we take it to my son's baseball tournaments to play between innings. It's not as large, or as expensive, as some of the portable speakers, but it holds it own and is easy to manage.

This speaker sounds amazing! The amount of bass this puts out is crazy for the size!

Wow! This thing gets loud!!! The low end frequencies that this thing is able to pump out is unbelievable. For the price however i think it should come with a semi-hard case with room for storing the charger and cables. The battery life is awesome! Still havent figured out how to play with the mix, i would actually like to reduce some of the sub but ill tinker with it later because the overall preset mix is pretty good.

Bought the JBL Xtreme to place on a window ledge beside our hot tub. Impressive sound even over the noise of hot tub jets. Excellent sound quality, pairs easily with my phone and great battery life and it’s water resistant. Can’t wait to buy a second one!
