This thing hits, the tweeters add a crispness the charge 3 doesn’t have. Not waterproof but not everyone needs to throw their speaker in the pool! It is splash proof though so rain or spilled drink won’t ruin it. Charges cell phones too.

This has amazing sound quality. We use it around our pool and it has the ability to get wet and still function which was a draw for us. Great for beach use or on a boat. Connects to our cell phone via Bluetooth for ease of use.

I've tried almost every portable and compact speaker out there (beats, bose, UE). None really blew me away...until I got my hands on the JBL Xtreme. This speaker can handle any genre of music at any level. The bass is its strongpoint, this speaker does not disappoint.

I love the portability of the speaker w/the carring strap.The sound is wonderful. At low volume it's cLear and still has good base. High volume i's awesome. It is clear with no static or break ups. I'd recommend this speaker to anyone who loves music as much as I do.

This is an awesome speaker. I use it mostly at work at lower volumes, and sound is clean and crisp with super-tight bass. And when I take it with me and have the opportunity to crank it up, the sound is beyond amazing! But I guess you can't expect anything less from JBL. They've been making professional studio sound speakers for years. I highly recommend this if you have a love affair with great sound!

This speaker sounds great. Nice, deep bass. Bluetooth range seems to be pretty decent as well. I think there is some very slight distortion once you get above 2/3 volume. But this thing is so loud, I never feel the need to actually turn it up that loud.

I use this speaker very frequently, it has went above and beyond my expectations. Sound quality is excellent (with very solid bass, something i couldn't go without), and the volume is very full and can easily fill up any mid-sized room or even larger.

My JBL XTREME replaced my Monster SuperStar. The Monster Superstar is a great Bluetooth speaker, it just was not loud enough for me. I needed a speaker that was loud,clear and had some bass. The JBL XTREME met all my needs and some being water resistant and having the ability to charge other wireless products. Being that I'm in the military I needed a speaker that handle whatever life three at it. I love the over all sound it produced and of course the bass reproduction was what I wanted. I wanted a Bluetooth speaker that could also drown out exterior noise, while in a MILITARY vehicle and still hear my music loud and clear on long missions. The JBL XTREME IS A BEAST !
