I seem to have a collection of about 10 mediocre BT speakers. They sound ok, but pretty flat and not that loud. I decided to get rid of a bunch and get one nice speaker. Enter the Xtreme. I love this speaker. it sounds great with plenty of bass and gets LOUD. Battery life is great (I've had it over a year and it still holds a charge). One complaint...AC charger, I wish it could be charged via USB

Wanting a good bluetooth speaker I had a choice, either the Beats Pill or this the JBL Xtreme. I chose this after a side by side listening sample!! And I do not regret the purchase. It has great sound and suprisingly good bass!! And for its price in my opinion is better than the Beats!! Pairing it to my iPhone went smoothly. Just wish maybe I had purchased two and chain it together!! It’s that good!!

I bought this speaker cause I was looking for great sound quality and something i could simply have laying around the house and still hear my music throughout it, the sound is amazing crisp and clear and even if you’re out and about it has amazing battery power also a great portable charger if needed. With 2 usb slots it’s such a handy device to have and carry with you. Highly recommend this speaker.

Just as good if not better then beats pill xl. Have 2 extremes and pills the extreme pairs much easier together then the pill, also has more bass

I read reviews on this thing since it was introduced and waited till it came out in the states and boy she goes! Sound is amazing and battery life perfect for its price tag i think its worth it.

This speaker has excellent quality sound and is perfect for around the house or taking on trips. Will definitely be taking to the lake and beach this summer. Big sound for such a small unit!

This is a great product. A friend of ours had this speaker out on their boat and we were listening to it instead of the boats stereo because it sounded so much better than the boat's stock stereo. The volume and sound quality that comes out of this thing is amazing. And the built in rechargeable battery seems to last forever. Many hours of listening. We were so impressed with it we went and purchased our own. And we are very pleased with it.

Sounds good with plenty of bass. You can hook up your non-blu tooth devices. It comes with a handy carry strap. I would buy a bag to further protect it from dust and sand.

Awesome battery life, just power it up and run it for weeks. The sound is as good as you want to get into trouble with the neighbors. I have two different JBL portables and love them both.

JBL in my opinion makes the best portable speakers. Sound is very clear and has good base for the compact size. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a portable speaker.

JBL has done it again, the speaker delivers great sound and any volume level. I tried speakers from Bose and other manufactures, but they didn't even come close to JBL.

This speaker is LARGE. And the sound is LARGE as well. Surprising levels of bass and great sound make this a perfect accessory for your iPod or iPhone. My son loves it!

I did a lot of research before buying a decent BT speaker and bought Megaboom from UE and JBL Extreme. I liked extreme much better due to its nice sound and solid bass

This is a good speaker with good battery life. This speaker gets fairly loud and it sounds clean. The bass sounds best when it is placed in a corner. The internal amp is rated for more power when the unit is plugged in, but I don't hear any loss in fidelity when I unplug it. This unit cannot charge via USB, you must use the charger it came with.

If your looking for major sound in a small package, look no further! This like guy packs a punch! Sound quality is great! Also attractive appearance in any setting.

My son got this for Christmas and he absolutely loves it. The sound is great and it’s pretty loud. Love the fact that it’s waterproof now he has music in his boat.

This is my second purchase of the same speaker. I can link them both and now i have a nice stereo system which is portable! Enough loudness and bass for inside and outside. My daughter and I now can actually listen to our own music by connecting our phones separately :) It is a great invention and i appreciate JBLs details to the reacher sound. Totally recommend it!

This is the best bluetooth speeker I have ever had. Bought a bose for my dad and compared to this it is junk! Worth the money spent. wish I could have two and play both at the same time. Rock da house.
