Don't get me wrong, it's a very good, loud, and dynamic speaker. Budget wise the charge 2 is close to bang for the buck. But the xtreme is just that, extreme. You won't be dissappointed.

Can't go wrong with JBL... Great sound!! Blue tooth works great. Talking through it on a phone call was clear. Price is in my opinion is a little on the high side, but after researching other brands that are as expensive as this one, JBL knocks it out of the park!! I'mm going to buy another and see how the pairing function works.

Use to play music at outdoor work location. Very loud and clear. Battery goes about 8 hours not 15 as advertised

High quality sound. Lots of Bass. Analog line in jack to plug in legacy audio players or electronic musical instrument like guitar or keyboard. USB jack charges my phone faster than any other phone charger I have. Durable and water resistant so I don't have to worry about getting caught outside when inclement weather hits.

when it comes to speaker this is the best quality and clarity easy connects to bluetooth , you feel the power!

If I could show you my YouTube history on how many reviews I watch and study for a speaker for months but thankfully my search is over, Perfect sound, easy to control, durable with water resistant and compatible with another speaker which I will be buying later but the volume is loud enough for a room or two

Having had my JBL Charge 2+brake on me after 2 years and only one to many drops, I decided to try out some better ones to replace it. First my brother suggested the Bose Sound Link Mini. There lack of bass and quiet sound really was not a replacement for my charge. Felt fragile and like a single drop would brake it. So I returned it and wanted a Beat Pill XL but I guess they blow up and were recalled so i settled on the Pill+. Still the sound quality was not like my Charge. then i bought the new JBL Xtream that was everything I ever wanted. kinda sucks its so bug but for the quality of sound and the durability of it, it has traveled with me camping, hiking, in the sun, in the rain, to work, to parties, wedding receptions, the beach, and of course in my bathroom for shower tunes. I'm so happy with it i have been itching to buy another to use there linking abilities for even more enjoyment of this phenomenally well made product. Would i recommend it? my friends who had the Bose and Pill XL both have switched to the JBL Xtream now with me not saying a word but the speaker just playing

This wireless speaker proves that big things come in small packages! Even in an outdoor setting, there is a booming sound that can be heard, clearly, from at least 50-60 yards away... Great levels, great bass, and treble... A little pricey, but if you care about high quality sound, this is an awesome product.

So far its been a good experience with only one issue. I'm impressed with the sound from such a small speaker. Only issue is wish you could control the volume of the speaker with there app. Great sound, good bass.

I bought this Bluetooth speaker to replace a Beat Pills that was no longer working. I love the sound this thing puts out and the battery life is great. The only issue is that it is a bit heavy if you want something to take on a plane for a vacation.

the great thing about the item is how quick it connects to bluetooth. the included strap worked well when i need to go out with it. The bass is unbelievable. I have the previous generation and this one by far has been improves with the sound and the accessories. the design is very nice also.

I got this for my husbands birthday and he loved it. He really liked the sound quality for this med sized speaker. We love to use it at our family BBQ's because it sounds great and is not bulky to move around.
