The sound and base are much better than the Bose Speaker that sell for the same price. I hesitated for a moment, but after listening to it at Best Buy Store, I was sold. Had some family over the weekend and play music on the back yard, everybody was impressed, specially two of the people who owns a Bose Speaker.

Very good qualty gets really loud nice bass descent battery life. A little pricey or I would get another.

This speaker sounds awesome and can be linked with other JBL Extremes for even more volume and stereo sound. Deep bass, easily links to devices and holds a charge for a surprisingly long time. Get this speaker!

Got it for half off via black friday sale. Bought the fake directly from China, was pretty good, but the original is so much better. Great bass, easily portable. If youre going to spend $300, get an Aiwa Exos-9 which I owned and did a review here. The only problem is that its not portable whereas the JBL is.

Bought this for my wife to use with her iPhone 8plus.i set it up for her. It was fast and so easy, an adult can do it. Sounds great, has really nice bass and can get really loud.

After reading others reviews and trying all other models at the store, this speaker truly does have the best sound and bass you can get from a portable speaker! Have owned mine for about a month and love it!!

Bought my daughter the JBL Charge when it first came out and was impressed by the quality of sound and convenience with the pass through USB port. It has been taken on many trips and really is great for her and her friends to listen to wherever they go. That being said I was considering getting one for myself to take on my trips and was excited to see the Xtreme come out. So I went to the local Best Buy and gave it a test ride. Was very impressed with all the features especially water resistance and the dual sub's. Overall I am "Xtremely" pleased with this product!!!!

First, I bought the JBL Charge 3 a couple weeks prior to buying the JBL Xtreme because the sale price was so low. But when the Xtreme went on sale for Black Friday I had to have it. I had heard both speakers in the store, so I knew what each sounded like. I have only good things to say about the Charge 3 and the Xtreme, but each one is good in its own way. For instance, if you plan on putting the Charge 3 on your desk at work and playing music, then that model is great. If you’re relatively close to the speaker, then the Charge 3 is the one to buy. But if you plan on keeping this speaker at home so you can play music to fill up a larger space, then the Xtreme is the speaker for you. Also, if you plan on bringing the speaker to the pool, the park, or some other outdoor space, then the JBL Xtreme is probably the speaker you’ll want to bring with you. Again, both the Charge 3 and the Xtreme are great (I have both, and I’m keeping them both), but I guess it depends in what capacity you plan to use your speaker.

This portable speaker is easy and intuitive to operate. Bluetooth connection flawless and quick, Plenty of volume for a large room holding 75 people. The speaker is not light, but is still portable.

Whether indoors or outdoors this speaker delivers incredible sound and excellent bass. The charging ports keep your iPhone fully charged and it very easy to connect through Bluetooth

Wow, am I impressed with the JBL Xtreme. The sound quality is fantastic. I've owned multiple portable units and all have lacked sufficient low end. Not the Xtreme: this is where it shines. Music sounds like it's coming from full size indoor stereo speakers. Pairing couldn't be simpler, and once paired, the Xtreme auto connects each time you turn it on. I've been getting nearly 18 hours play time out of each battery charge. Definitely worth the money.

it was a christmas gift, but i coulnt wait i just give it to my husdband hewas so happy about it, i knew he wanted them, but the were 299 i bout them here for 149 cyber monday sale... the really sound nice and better than the little one that he has (samsung) they are waterproof ..

Great sound, volume, base, and the battery lasts all day. I take it to the beach, outside on the patio, and it pairs easily to my phone. I'm buying a 2nd one as they will pair together.

To make a long story short. My uncle had passed and we were having a celebration of life at a park. There was no power available. I searched and searched, demoed and demoed, for a product that would be sufficient to satisfy back ground music for a group of 100 people. It did more than that. It lasted the whole party and then some. (8 hour party) also the sound surpassed all that I had listened too in that price range. I had purchased it with the intent to return it, but seriously love it... Kept it. It now is used in my daughters room for lullabies. Low full sound to sooth her... Not to forget our back yard parties. I could keep on going... Way to go JBL

Very good value. The sound is great for the size and price. It took me a while to know the setup on my phone but one I figured that out the rest was smooth sailing. I like that we don't have to worry about it getting a little wet since it is used outside by the lake. I would recommend the JBL - Xtreme Portable Bluetooth Speaker.

I first got the size below the Extreme. I wanted more bass and a deeper sound. FOUND IT! I initially bought the speaker to stream music. I ended up buying a smart tv. Being a movie watcher and music streamer... I hooked this speaker up to my tv and OMG! HD smart tv paired with this speaker equals your personal theater. I also hook it up to my computer. Sounds awesome! Just remember... you get what you pay for. This delivers. I recommend this. Functional just about anywhere. Charge last for hours. I've charge my cell phone and other devices while playing bluetoothing music thanks to the usb connections. Hella glad I bought it!

This speaker surprised me, I was not expecting the loud volume range it is capable of. Even loud it still retains the crisp audio it plays on lower volume settings. The speaker is big enough to fill your entire backyard with music and small enough to take it to the beach.

Great sound out of a little speaker. Use it for tailgating. With strap you can hang in corner of canopy. Get 2 and pair together for even more amazing sound. Also has usb charging ports so no more going into vehicle to charge phone. Amazing battery life even when charging.
