Unit came as part of an "upgraded" appliance package on a new home. High tech looking, but offers no high tech features. For almost $3,000, you get a severely underpowered unit, so expect longer cook times. It appears convection equipment is buit in, but there are no controls in the interface. Speaking of the Iterface, it uses a digital scroll wheels which are the slowest way to key on a number, lead to errors and are harder to read than a regular numberpad. The chime is quiet and the fan is loud. Its hard to tell if your food is done because the fan continues to run
after cooking is done, in fact the fan doesnt ever turn off until you open the door. Manual claims this is to cool the unit, but ive never had a MW that needs to cool, further if i open the door immediately when the chime goes off, the fan stops. Did it not need to cool then?
I should probably say something positive. It hasnt broken yet. ;)
To sum up, this is the most basic, weakest microwave ive ever owned despite the digital display and high price.
