Works OK. Looks pretty, but not well engineered.

First of all, this range is the same as the much less expensive KitchenAid KSDG950ESS except the JennAir has a fancy handle and knobs on top, but different programming--including fewer modes that bread bakers might like. It's a absolute nightmare to install because the gas and electrical connections are in the back, everything needs to be in place before the range is slid into place, and the blower occupies most of the space under the oven. (see photo of crowded space behind the range) See also the 1 star review where the installers took one look and left. At 6.2 Cu. Ft. it takes a lot of time and energy to preheat, but probably the extra space makes the convection mode work well. I know it's unfair to compare it to the expensive Thermador unit it replaces, but this slide-in model is just a configuration of a series of options using a ho-hum modular system. For example, the cooktop does not extend beyond the sides of the oven to cover the gap to the countertop. (I found two trim pieces to cover it. see the photo with the trim covering the gap. This trim did not come with the range. When the oven is level, the grates on top are not level because the 3 grates hook together badly. I'll use shims to correct this, but it's just poor design or manufacturing, (or both). Amazingly, the AirFry mode seems to work using longer cooktimes and a long preheat even though the food is a long way from the broiler element. (see the photo with browed shrimp) Otherwise, ok, but not great for the money,

Definitely one of the best decisions, not only a classy dual fuel Range, but its burners have the necessary BTUs for many food options, the air fryer option definitely makes a difference, the downdraft surpasses our above the range Microwave with an extraction of odors and vapors, in my opinion it does not affect the flames as I read there, I think this is a version with improvements, the installation is definitely not easy but there are clear videos on the web that if you have skills with tools you will not have problems, Once installed you will fall in love with it, remember that it works with 220V and gas, you have to have the two options behind it, the downdraft is really silent and very powerful, What I love is that it is an unusual range, it is different and gives a special touch to the entire kitchen.

The stove is great but in your Q&A it said power required 110 but the Geek installer are now saying it requires 220! And we don’t have 220 Available! So requesting return of unit!

So far so good! The unit itself is beautiful and is a replacement for a previous model of Jennair downdraft. We had it installed the day before Thanksgiving and it really worked well with all dishes ....did realize how underperforming our other stove was behaving. The stove is a beautiful compliment and seems of great quality . Please note the down draft blower setup changed. Teh previous owner had a design that had the exhaust hose discharge out the right side (looking at stove) of teh stove bottom. You cannot do this anymore. We had to have a flex hose and crimp it in the very back as teh downdraft vent travels up the "right side" . Please note, if ordering from best buy assure they send an installer who can work with gas....we had a "complex installation" noted in our order...which means gas. Our best buy rep did a great job in helping us with the order, Greek Squad is where the problem came in as they assigned it to the wrong truck. Then when teh driver called they offered no solution like getting and installer out that day, the day before thanksgiving taht were were hosting, they simply rescheduled for a week later. WE had to pay someone else to emergency install it as we were hosting thanksgiving. We told them we were doing this and to cancel install and they did not...a week later I am still requesting they remove install and credit back my account. Overall, teh product is great, the reps are great, even teh delivery guys were great....installation process and logistics in geek squad leaves something to be desired.

I specifically asked for a complete install. Techs removed 40 year old range. Looked at the old blower and said they can't install! While I was om the phone was Best Buy rep (they called me) I happened to look out the window and the truck was leaving with my range!!! Nothing was said! They just loaded it up and started to leave. I was able to stop them and get the range put in my house and the old range put back in place. Then Best Buy wants me to pay $300 more and wait 4 more days to install!! So now I have 2 ranges sitting here and both do not work!

Pretty straight forward electrical oven. Gas burners are great and overall style is great. The downdraft install was difficult to install in a pre-existing cutout with the redesign of the venting system for past decade.
