wanted a small radio,which used batteries to take outside.this radio is the perfect size and the sounds are clear.it is easy to use and can be taken on trips.

Great product. I my small fm am radio. Doesn’t take up to much space. Sound is good.

I bought this to send to my dad, who is in a nursing home. I checked the specs before purchasing and it said there was a headphone jack so I bought a pair of inexpensive headphones too. My dad loves music but can't see well enough to work an iPod or similar player, thought this would do the trick and he could listen as loud as he wanted to w/headphones. When I received the radio there was NO headphone jack! it's an AUX jack to hook in an MP3 player or similar. So now I have to return headphones and/or radio. Very frustrating.

Wanted a small basic radio that I could take from room to room. It took me a while to get used to tuning in with the dial, but when I located my desired stations the sound was good. The price was reasonable and delivery quick.

This radio has AM and FM and can be connected to an electrical outlet or can be taken outside or into rooms without an available electrical outlet and is small and lightweight, and it has good sound.

A good, non-flashy little radio (and 'little' is correct; it's smaller than it looks like on Best Buy's website, as other reviewers have mentioned). The sound is okay, though a tad on the tinny side. Reception is very good, which is nice since I live in an area with a lot of electrical sources that normally present a challenge. It's early yet, but it seems like a solid radio at a good price.

Radio works well with decent sound. Reception is better than our previous radio as well.

Needed a radio, specifically an AM for my dad. He was having trouble streaming an AM station that he loves! This simple to use radio did the trick. Decent sound and volume even for him, and his hearing is not great.

Excellent portable radio that runs on AC current or size "C" batteries. Battery power coupled with AM radio capability, makes it the perfect radio during emergencies & FM capability allows you to listen to music with a decent quality. Don't understand why it's so hard to find AM capable radios these days, when AM is still primary source of emergency broadcasts. This is a find radio for a low price.

It does what I wanted and is about what I expected.

Old radio was failing so I found this on the website on sale. Ordered it and shortly received an e-mail saying the radio was ready for pickup much sooner than the estimated time. Sound quality is fine for its intended purpose, listening to sports talk radio. Still, music sounds quite good on it, but if that was the primary purpose, I would have picked another model with tone controls and maybe digital tuning. I live about 65 miles away from an AM station that I occasionally like to listen to on Sunday morning for NFL pre-game. To my great surprise this radio pulls that station in better than my car radio! Quite a shocker.

Our previous radio for listening to Rush Limbaugh was a battery-only; plus reception was so-so. This radio with shore power PLUS batteries works both in the house and in the camper. This made is a good buy.

I bought this to take to beach and pool . So far , so good, for the for the money I pai.

The radio is the perfect size and sounds good. Purchased for my brother and he enjoys it.
