    I tried playing, recording, fast forwarding, reminded with new and recorded tapes. Playing chewed them up. All else tried but wouldn’t move the tape. I tried rewinding tape in Another tape deck to loosen up the tape. Still no good.

    It works perfectly for me to use with another cassette recorder to over dub my music. There are very few places that sell them. Uou need to sell blank cassette tapes for them though.

    would not play cassettes all the way through would cut off ever 7 to 15 minutes. even after I tried various brands...of cassettes .

    I have a number of old cassettes I wanted to listen to, so I decided to use a gift card and buy this item. It works fine and I like the fact I can use batteries or plug it in. I like the portable mike too.
