A must see if you haven't. Not your typical marvel superhero show. It's a very good adult series to watch. I totally recommend watching it. Can't wait watch season 2.

The titular hero of Marvel's JESSICA JONES is a real piece of work: super-strong and tough as nails, but traumatized by her past and tormented by her demons, one in particular: Killgrave, played by the excellent David Tennant (DOCTOR WHO), who almost steals the show. Jessica (Krystin Ritter, BREAKING BAD) must confront her past if she is ever to be free - but can she overcome Killgrave's power?

Jessica Jones is well-executed and a pleasant change of pace from what we've come to expect from Netflix-produced Marvel series. It features a top-notch cast, solid writing and great use of New York locations. It invokes both a classic noir genre and '70s cinema style. Krysten Ritter was born to play Jessica Jones and David Tennant portrayal of Kilgrave was totally convincing.

I gotta say- I love this show. It's the best of the Marvel Netflix shows (and most of the other ones are super good too). David Tennant and Krysten Ritter are excellent, the writing is superb, the directing and the characterizations are amazing, I have only great things to say about this. Why buy it instead of watching it on Netflix? Because it's JUST THAT GOOD!

Jessica Jones is one of the stronger entries to come out of the MCU, and follows Daredevil's superb run with an equally thought provoking and boundary pushing drama. Yes, this is free if you have Netflix but even with the fastest router in the world, the picture and audio on Blu are much clearer and stable than its streaming counterpart.

This show gives new meaning to the word binging. I had to watch this from start to finish almost no matter what. Who needs sleep? Great casting, story and style. Love all of the characters because of their flaws, and the psychological aspect made this show better than anything else on TV that year.

Just like Daredevil Season 2 I very patiently waited for this to be released in the US, so naturally I picked it up the day it was released. I've already watched both it and Daredevil Season 2, and I couldn't be happier with them (except maybe if they came with some extras of course). I can't wait for season 2!

My daughter likes this series very much. She was very excited to see it was on sale, but didn't get paid before sale went off. I bought these as a gift for her birthday, and it was great that the blu rays were cheaper than dvds!!! Quality is great, and if you're a fan you can't go wrong!

Wow, it took almost two years but Jessica Jones season 1 is finally available for purchase. I have a subscription to Netflix but I prefer to have a physical copy in case of internet outage so I am very happy to have been able to purchase this now that it is available.

Didn't think I would like this series as the reviews laid it out as violent and disturbing but the "dark" subjects were handled with finesse and subtlety. The Jessica Jones proved to be likeable and tough with just the right amount of irreverence. Well done.

In some ways, this show was darker than its predecessor Daredevil, and it benefits greatly from both a great cast and some very smart writing. This is a show that definitely is worth rewatching, I just wish there were any bonus features on this set.

Jessica Jones is a great addition to the Marvel television lineup! I’m so glad to finally own it on Blu-ray. Krysten Ritter is amazing and Kilgrave makes for a great villain. I highly recommend checking it out.

The alternate reality of comics, the dark belly of the beast that stares back at you from the abyss and reaches up from the mire and pulls you in by the hair into the underworld screaming and drowning in the muck.

Started off on the run and made it so you couldn't stop until the final credits. I great cast of charaters with real issues. Great for an adult audience interested in a "less-than-superhero filled" adventure.

I wasn't familiar with the character of Jessica Jones. I really enjoyed this. It also has David Tennant, "who" was excellent in this role. Looking forward to Jessica's appearance in the Defenders.

Surprisingly dark and morbid this is a really great Marvel series on Netflix. The hardest part was seeing David Tennant in a role as far removed from Doctor Who as he could possibly be.

I thought Jessica Jones was a great follow up to Daredevil. It's not your average, everyday super hero series. I was not that familiar with the character but I really enjoyed the show.

I had no idea what to expect as I had never even seen a preview of Jessica Jones. I was pleasantly surprised. Another great Marvel show. A must see before watching Luke Cage.

An amazing show. Acting is top notch. Krysten Ritter and David Tennant are superb in their roles. Would’ve liked to see more special features but the bluray transfer is amazing.

I don't Netflix, so I wait for their shows to get a disc release. The show lived up to my expectations and I was a fan of the original source material, the comic book Alias.
