Great buds, though touch sensor is a bit sensitivePosted
I love that these ear buds are completely wireless. You pop one in each ear with no wires whatsoever to get tangled or ripped. Each bud has an individual power button that can power both buds on/off. The design takes a little getting used to but once you've mastered inserting and wearing these, they'ren't bad at all. The battery-powered charging case, although a tad on the heavy side is really nice and a good way to keep track of the buds and keep them safe when not in use or during charging. It's also fantastic as a portable battery charger. When you place the buds in the case, they power off and charge automatically. The case also has a USB port for charging other items like smartphones, tablets or other small devices capable of charging via USB.It has status LEDs that can be viewed with the case open or closed. The case has a cool flat USB charging cable that wraps around and attaches to the case and is virtually invisible when not in use. The sound quality is good. It'sn't spectacular but it's really good. It's on par with a set of moderate to good quality buds and sounds really good for sport buds. There are three equalizer settings; signature, balanced and bass boost. Signature by far sounds the best. It's rich, loud and balanced. Balanced sounds like all EQ settings are set at flat. I expected bass boost to be my favorite but it's identical to signature except the treble is turned down a notch to accentuate the bass. It doesn't really enhance the bass and the reduced treble makes everything sound bland. Signature sounds much better because the treble is left intact. Speaking of bass, it's actually pretty decent on these buds. Volume is okay but I wish these were louder, especially since they'ren't noise cancelling. Battery life is also decent. I don't normally wear them for marathon sessions. I wear them about an hour or two per day and I get about a week between charges of the case, not buds. The buds pretty much stay charged thanks to the case and my wear patterns. There are six pair of gel tips included in assorted types and colors of blue, black and grey. The factory installed tips fit my ears perfectly but there are plenty of differently sized options for those who need to find a better fit. It'sn't just smaller or larger but oblong, wide, etc. There's a tip for any ear type. There are quite a few other features to these headphones in addition to the cool charging case. Some are cool, others not so cool. Jlabs included a mode called "Be Aware" which enhances the volume of ambient noises around the wearer allowing the wearer to hear the sounds around them. I don't really find much use of the mode because they didn't include a voice prompt acknowledgement of the mode status. I believe I recognize when it's toggled on but it results in excessive static white noise when no sound is playing through the buds. Jlabs has a burn-in app available for download. It's supposed to help burn in the buds so they reach optimal sound quality faster. I began to download it from the App Store but paused when I noticed nothing but advertisements for other products in the product screenshot photos. I figured if they couldn't even cobble together a few useful screen shots to accompany the app, it likely meant the app was useless. I opted not to install the burn-in app and chose to burn the buds in myself the old fashioned way. That means listening to music constantly the first few days, which is also a good way to perform several initial charging cycles for the new batteries in both the buds and the charger. My only real complaint with these buds at the moment is also one of the features I actually expected to like best. That would be the touch controls on the outsides. Most ear bud inline controls are useless to me due to poor button placement, tiny microscopic buttons, confusing press-sequences or a combo of all the above. I expected this touch operation to be an intuitive and easy to use welcomed relief. I quickly found out that the sensitivity is a little too high, resulting in an over-zealous Siri. I've inadvertently activated Siri while doing nothing more than simply adjusting the buds in my ears or while trying to invoke other commands like toggling Be Aware mode on/off. If I really mess up, usually while trying to adjust the buds, I'll accidentally switch the sound mode too. Either sensitivity needs tweaking or they should design it to work off multiple touches to avoid such frequent accidental button pushes. In the not a complaint but rather a heads-up department, make sure to thoroughly dry all sweat or moisture before placing these in the case or it may void the warranty. Despite being sweat-proof, they still require a little extra care to protect the case and warranty. I love these Jlab buds, especially when compared to some of the comparably priced but total dud sports buds I've owned in that past. My past sports buds usually either suffered from poor sound, poor battery life, poor fit or wires that would snag on clothing, hair, furniture or workout equipment. Some had a combo of two or more of those issues. These buds suffer none of those shortcomings. The sound quality is good, they fit my ears comfortably, the battery life is good and the charging case is super-cool and is useful for the buds as well as other devices. They are also somewhat easy to operate once you master the timing to avoid activating Siri, which I still occasionally do despite being very careful.

Great product but could use improvementPosted
My overall impression before getting into detail is that these are great for anyone looking for a nice sounding, secure, truly wireless pair of headphones for doing physical activity. Aside from some minor annoyances detailed below they fit the bill perfectly. The sound quality of these headphones are really great. They have 3 modes to select from and all sound pretty good depending on what you are listening to. They also have an alert mode which lets sound through purposefully for things like running outside, that's pretty neat. During regular use no sound comes through for the most part. The fit is one of my favorite things about these headphones. I believe there are 6 rubber attachments and one foam pair which I find the most comfortable. Its a really small market for truly wireless headphones WITH an ear hook. Air pods and similar style earbuds cannot stay in my ears when I am working out, running, jumping, etc. And the other style that has a wire connecting the earbuds are really uncomfortable and snag the buds out when turning my head. Point is, these give you the most versatility/security. This product would be a 5* review if I stopped right now but I have to mention two important annoyances. The more minor one is that these are touch controls that utilize tapping/long pressing. While this is modern/cool it is not very practical. Sometimes it doesn't register a tap and you don't really have a way of knowing until your desired action doesn't happen or an action you did not want happens. For example, pausing a track requires a double tap, and sometimes I will try and nothing happens. After numerous attempts it registers a triple tap and that turns on the environmentally aware mode (letting in ambient noise for safety). I am still getting used to the touch controls and im sure I will be proficient in time but I have been using them for a month now, about 4-5 hours per week exercising and they still don't register the correct input sometimes. The second, main annoyance of this product is the low battery indicator. Using your smartphone you could check the percentage of the earbuds. When first powered on they will tell you either "Full Battery, Medium, or Low" with low starting at 25%. These earbuds have a 5hr rated use time which means when low battery hits they should last AT LEAST an hour and a half. I timed this multiple times and when they alert you of low battery you have less than 10 min until theyre dead. This is extremely frustrating if youre just beginning your workout session. The voice also tells you low battery repeatedly every 1-2mins until they die. This doesn't really help since they die so quick. Just today I did my workout which lasted about one hour. I was told they had medium battery upon powering on. Halfway through my workout it started chiming low batter and they died 8min after that. I actually upgraded to this pair of earbuds from a generic brand off amazon specifically because those would do the exact same thing! I thought that for over $125 these earbuds would have better control of that aspect. My only solution to this problem is to constantly keep them topped off which is quite easy with the charging/carrying case. Still, this is an unforgivable inconvenience that I cannot overlook. Why make the low battery indicator when they are about to die in less than 10min and not earlier? Im sure they could've been programmed to truly tell you low battery at about 30% that way you could definitely finish a workout. Again, the quality and fit of these headphones are on point. If you get used to the controls and keep them charged all the time then you will likely enjoy them. If you are like me and let your electronics discharge fully (or close to it) before charging you will be aggravated.

Perfect if you don't wear a hood at the gym...Posted
My husband purchased these for me... They were perfect for my workouts until I wanted to slip my hood on while I worked out or while in the sauna. The sensitivity of the touch mode on the buds is very high. So every time my hood touched them... it would either raise or lower the volume or kick over to voice mode without me even wanting to. The security hook that goes around the ear is not pliable. So if your ears are smaller like mine you may find them a bit loose. But overall they stayed on during my workouts. The triple ridged earplug was a perfect fit for smaller ear canals. Good connection with phone. IMO the bass was not too high. @@@@@@@@ I prefer more treble). However I will be returning these because I enjoy wearing my hoods too much! I hope this helps someone.

Super easy setupPosted
I was a little leery about this purchase because I had so much trouble with another brand. THAT set took 2 calls to customer service to get them paired, then every time I opened my mouth they fell out! By contrast, I absolutely LOVE THIS SET! They basically paired themselves right out of the box then all I had to do was push one button in my Bluetooth settings on my phone and I was listening to my favorite tunes with great sound quality. The over-the-ear loops make it next to impossible for them to fall out while I'm walking my dog or exercising, but are still so comfortable that I forget they are there. I also used the power bank feature to charge my cell phone when we had a 3-day power outage recently. So many great features!

Solid and Durable Bluetooth HeadphonesPosted
I am not a fan of airbuds as they are not really suited for working out or exercising. I read a number of reviews for these headphones online and I would have to say I agree with the reviews - these headphones have great sound and fit very comfortably in your ear.
