JLAB Epic Executive Wireless Active Noise Canceling Earbuds SUMMARY: JLAB has this Earbud thing nailed down. These earbuds hit far above their price class considering their build quality, the reliable wireless connectivity, call features, and sound quality. Noise reduction falls a little short of the best in class — but JLAB offer noise reduction at this price! And, it’s most effective where you want it most, in the low, engine rumble/drone frequency range. SETUP: Bluetooth connection at setup was quick and easy. I wandered around my house, leaving my phone behind, charging, and I never lost connection. JLAB provides a nice collection of ear tips (6) and separate “cush fins” (2) which you can choose to use or not. The “fin” or wing allows you to go a bit smaller with the ear tips while still allowing a secure fit. I’m a big fan of these wings. The JLABs felt very secure, but stayed comfortable. Or, leave off the wings if you prefer. SOUND: I went to my more challenging music — female voices — and, at the other end of the spectrum, deep acoustic bass and cellos. I was already connected via BT, so I used that to judge quality, initially. Considering I’m accustomed to headphones costing multiples of the JLAB price, I was very impressed. These are very satisfying earbuds. Nicely balanced, nice treble detail, and rock solid bass. I forgot I wasn’t wearing my best earbuds, and dug through my music collection, quite enjoying myself. I sampled my thumping, lower fidelity pop rock and these JLABS didn’t mind at all. They can rock with the best. Are these as lush in the upper octaves, or is the bass as tight as my premium over-the-ear? No, not really. When earbud manufacturers make good choices and don’t sacrifice balance for overemphasized bass or hyped treble you find headphones that are easy to live with. These are very easy to live with. I eventually hard wired into my laptop using the provided cable. Sound quality never changed. Still great. NOISE REDUCTION: JLAB’s easy-to-find, easy-to-use operation continues here, too. A single button push and a green light lets you know noise reduction is on. Against a silent background, the slightest hiss is introduced, which disappears behind program material. This is typical for many Noise Reduction devices. Meanwhile, external background noise is significantly modified. Voices lose low frequency tones completely and are lowered in volume. I experienced a loud lawn mower crew one house away from mine, and they magically appeared to move much further down the street when I switched the noise reduction on. Other steady droning or rumbling from other sources just disappeared. The noise reduction is real. FEATURES: Playtime is advertised at 7 hours. These earbuds are wired to each other but they are wireless to your phone, laptop, etc. Unless, of course you want to wire them up. This can be useful, for example, if you run out of battery power, and the included wire serves double duty: charging or hard wired for sound via a headphone port by adding an included 3.5mm jack adapter. Minimal stuff to carry around in a small, hard, protective case. Controls are located on the right side wire where they are very easy to find and use. The controls are very well thought out. A VOICE ASSISTANT lets you know when you are powered on or off, battery level, and BT connection. Very reassuring. JLAB also includes this neat neckband with a slot for the earbud-to-earbud wire. It turns your earbuds into the neckband style, but only if you want it. It’s small enough to just leave in the carry case. Phone calls are handled with ease and sound natural. Callers had no trouble understanding me. COMPLAINTS: (or the opposite of) Who are these JLAB folks? Their instructions are completely understandable, with large readable test, and labeled drawings! Jlab even includes XSmall ear tips, a potential solution for the very petite females in my family. And that included accessory neck-band? I’ve got nothing negative. RECOMMENDATION: I wouldn’t wait too long to buy these JLABS Epic Executive Earbuds. JLAB might figure out that they are priced well below their value.

Setup: Bluetooth setup with Android phone was easy. There was no app to install. The unit came mostly charged (instant gratification for those who need it). Accessories: The earbuds came with a short USB charging cable, a single-ended 3.5mm stereo to USB adapter, a nice zippered case, a rubber sleeve for flat cable connecting ear pieces, and variety of tips and ear paddles. Noise cancelling: I could not tell if true active noise cancelling was implemented (i.e. inverse wave form generated to cancel out ambient sound). There was audible white noise when noise cancelling was enabled. This is more noise masking than noise cancelling. There is a fair amount of noise attenuation when the earbuds are fit snuggly in the ears. Design: The earbuds are comfortable and stay in place for me. The “paddles” can be cumbersome to install, but can help keep the phones in, especially while exercising. Wearing the strap behind the neck is more comfortable than hanging in front. However, you will need a mirror to see the lights on the right control module when worn around the back of the neck. A good seal is essential to getting the best possible sound quality. Be sure to find a tip that works for you. There are two rings on the barrel of each earpiece that allow the tips to be positioned at the barrel end or near the body of the earpiece. You may want to try both positions to get the most comfortable and effective seal. While it might be OK for use with a phone, the USB cable with 3.5mm stereo adapter is too short to use with my laptop computers. In-line microphone & remote control: From what friends and colleagues tell me, the microphone works well. I had to turn the gain all the way up when using them on a teleconference. Not being tethered to a phone or computer is nice. The in-line remote control works with Android music apps (e.g. Neutron). The center button is play/pause (short press). The up/down buttons work for volume (short press) and forward/back track selection (long press). The remote did not work well for me on phone calls. A short press on the center button is supposed to answer an incoming call. It disconnected the Bluetooth when I tried it. Sound Quality: These are not audiophile quality in-ear-monitors (IEMs). The bass and mids are forward and treble is recessed. Equalization helps considerably. Microphonics are minimized by the soft cable. These will not replace my $400 IEMs, but for the price they are a solid on-the-go, Bluetooth performer with all genres tested (rock, jazz, classical, & pop). Battery: The downfall of any small Bluetooth device, battery life. The battery came almost completely charged. Voice messages at startup let you know the battery status, “Fully Charged”, “Medium”, and “Low”. Charging from fully drained (using USB3 port on my computer) took 1.5 hours. I lost a full charge overnight when accidentally leaving them on with noise cancelling. If you remember to turn it off when not in use, you can get the advertised 7 hours of Bluetooth audio with noise cancelling. The following albums were sampled during my review: Adam Harasiewicz: Chopin Nocturnes & Preludes Adrian Legg: Waiting for a Dancer Antonio Pleeth: Geminiani 6 cello sonatas Beatles: 1 Billy Mclaughlin: Fingerdance Bonnie Raitt: Road Tested Calum Graham: Phoenix Rising Creed: My Own Prison Dirks und Wirtz: Kinski Spencer Gismonti Don Ross: PS15 Earl Klugh & Bob James: One on One Francois Sciortino: French Guitar Giovanni Palombo: La melodia segreta, A Secret Melody Goran Sollscher: Eleven-String Baroque Hoff Ensemble: Quiet Winter Night Jian Wang: The Baroque Album Joe Satriani, Surfing with the Alien, Crystal Planet, Flying in a Blue Dream, Unstoppable Momentum John Doan: A Celtic Pilgrimage John Williams: The Guitarist Julian Webber: Elgar Cello Concerto - Saint-Saens Cello Concerto No.1 Krzysztof Meisinger: Villa-Lobos Melodia Sentimental Laurence Juber: Guitar Noir Lawson Rollins: Elevation Los Angeles Guitar Quartet: Spin Luca Stricagnoli: Luca Stricagnoli Markus Segschneider: Snapshots Michel Haumont: Michel Haumont & Co Mike Dawes: What Just Happened Mstislav Rostropovich: Beethoven The Cello Sonatas- Vol1&2, Chopin Cello Sotatas, Schubert Schuman Debusy Cello Sonatas, The Brahms Sonatas, Vivaldi - Tartini - Boccherini Cello Concertos Nora Jones: Come Away with Me Oslo String Quartet: The Shubert Connection Peppino D'Agostino: Acoustic Guitar Ryan LeBlanc: Speechless Sarah Mclachlan: Fumbling Towards Ecstasy, Surfacing Sergio & Odair Assad: Sérgio & Odair Assad Play Piazzolla Steve Vai: The Ultra Zone, Fire Garden Tomasz Gaworek: Born To Be Together Tori Amos: Little Earthquakes TRONDHEIMSOLISTENE: In Folk Style, Souvenir I & II, Vladimir Horowitz: Rachmaninov Piano Concerto #3 Yo-Yo Ma: Bach Cello Suites Nos. 1, 5 & 6, Rachmaninov Prokofiev Cello Sonatas, Mendelssohn Piano Trios, Op. 49 & Op. 6

What's in the box ----------------- 1. 5 Tip sizes + 1 Cloud Foam Tip (12 total) 2. 2 Cush Fins sizes tips(4 of them) - Wish they included more, this is difficult to find 3. Travel case 4. Neckband 6. Micro USB cable for charging 7. Aux adapter for using it in wired mode for plugging in flights outputs Summary ------- Basically this is a bluetooth headphones with active noise cancellation and added adapter for wired mode. The active noise cancellation is something i have never tried before and to me it works OK. But do i need it? i think i am OK with passive noise cancellation which i think with fin type tip and in ear tip, i am good. The sound quality is good for bluetooth headsets and i think it is better than any bluetooth headphones costing under 75 Build Quality ------------- I think the build quality is decent, it comes with an optional headband which i dont think is much of a use, i like to be light. The buttons are placed correctly and there is also a plastic cover over the microphone jack to protect it.it id IP54 rated so it is great at the gym where you are sweating it out. the eat tips will hold the headphones well and does not slip and it is comfortable. I would however would like a better build quality, may be make it more attractive Features ------- 1. its got track controls on the headphone in addition to volume control which i think is a great feature, i also have an anker headphones which only has a volume rocker. 2. it has a mic for you to talk on a connected phone and i tested this and the other party could hear you pretty well without having to be loud. 3. It supports Bluetooth 4.1 and i did not notice much of a difference between wired and wireless audio quality and did not notice any dropped connections when playing music. 4. ANC or active noise cancellation feature works decent, i tested it when on a train. 5. its got a wired adapter Verdict ------- Sound quality is good, noise cancellation is decent but i could hear a hiss if it is a silent room and ANC is turned on. on the build quality front, i wish they made it more attractive.

Good: Accessories Comfortable fit Decent sound Bad: Noise Cancelling Hissing from NC Foam earbuds tear easily Powering off doesn’t disable noise cancelling Sound: The sound is good, but not the best. It’s a little unbalanced, being bass heavy or too vocal emphasized at times. Some songs, instrumentals are somewhat muffled. For a casual listener it’s probably ok. Noise Cancelling: Not good. The NC only filters out the low hums and at most times, it’s barely noticeable that it’s even on. I wore this outside walking around the streets and I can hear birds chirping, kids talking, and car driving by just as clear as with the NC off. The only difference is that low rumbling like an engine is lessened by a bit. While on, the NC also adds a hiss which is louder than any noise it blocked out. What’s weird is that the NC is independent of the earbuds’ power button. I turned off the earbuds and noticed that I can still leave the NC on. So it your turned off the power but left the NC on, the battery will continue to drain. Also weird was that I drained the power to the point that the earbuds powered off, but the NC was still running. I wouldn’t buy this for the noise cancelling. Build Quality: The build is overall good. The fitting comfortable. It’s snug that it doesn’t fall out but doesn’t feel like something is pressing in your ear. The earbuds and rubber fittings that came prepackaged was the most comfortable for me, but there are multiple sizes included ranging from the tiny to a weird cone-disc shaped plug. The foam buds however was incredibly hard to put on and tore apart in the process. Other accessories are a rubber sleeve neck band and a carrying case. The neck band is a little too soft and ends up sliding around as I move, but it’s good to have that option. There’s only three buttons used to control volume, skipping, and phone calls. The buttons are mushy, and it can be annoying when trying to lower the volume but end up skipping a track. Battery Life: I got a little over six hours while listening to music and the NC active, which is about what they advertised. I wouldn’t buy this for the noise cancelling alone, which just leaves you with an earbud with an okay sound. There are better sounding ones out there. If you want good NC, then you’ll have to buy more expensive headphones.

This is my review of the Elabs Audio - Epic Executive Wireless Noise Canceling Earbud Headphones - Black. In this review, I will be referring to this product as the “Exec”. I have never really had much interest in earbuds, mainly because they hurt my ears after a short time. I can never seem to get the full sound quality because they never fit right. I have large ear openings I guess and I am always pushing the earbuds in or messing with them to try to get them to fit correctly. I assume that’s why they hurt my ears. This time was different. The Exec came with enough different sizes that I found a set that matches my ears for comfort and secure fit. Believe me, it makes a huge difference. I tried the ones that were on the speakers as default and I thought the Exec did not sound that great. When I found the right fit the sound came through with great quality. The bass is deep but not overwhelming; the highs and mid range tones are well balanced and distinct. For the price of these I think they are very well worth it. I am going to go over a few of the features I like and a couple of things I don’t. The instructions are brief but explicit and easily understandable. The Exec is Bluetooth controlled so I can listen to music up to 30 ft. away from my phone. I like not needing to have a cord attached to my phone. Could you imagine a 30 ft cord? And calls I receive also come through sharp and clear, even at 30 ft away from my phone. All of the controls are right at your fingertips. Control your music and take your calls using the small module that rests below your left ear about neck level. You can feel the controls for pause, play, skip, volume, etc., without having to look. As part of the package, you get a semi-hard case to keep the Epics in. It’s a nice case, not fancy, but adequate and it will protect the earbuds. They call the piece that goes behind each bud a “cush-fin”. The cush-fin is adjustable and removable and provides support to help the earbud stay in place. It definitely adds to the comfort and helps to keep the earbud in place. It’s another reason why my ears do not get sore. The Noise cancelation feature works, maybe not as well as a good set of over-the-ear headphones, but well enough to keep unwanted distractions out. That is all I really want anyway. You have the option of turning it on or off from the side of the controller. There is a green light that lights up on the side when it is on.The noise cancellation on the Epic is at least as good or better than it is on earbuds that cost 2 or 3 times as much. Overall, I really like the Jlab Audio Epic Executive noise-cancelling earphones. I give them five stars. They are a quality product at a very reasonable price, and they deliver.

Pairing was quick & simple, and I’ve had no connectivity issues. Once they’re initially paired, they will automatically pair with each successive power-up. Overall, I was very impressed with the sound quality, comfort & battery life. Ordinarily, I wouldn’t expect the additional noise canceling feature at this price point; so, that’s an added bonus. I would definitely recommend this for everyday & especially travel use. Sound: I compared these to a pair of lesser quality JLab Bluetooth earbuds & a pair of higher quality over-the-ear noise canceling headphones and was very surprised. With the noise canceling engaged, they were on par with my high-end headphones. The high notes were solid & the bass was much better than my other JLabs. Noise Canceling: For the price, it’s a nice feature, but it makes only a slight difference depending on the environment. I actually detected a low hissing sound, but it didn’t detract too much from the music quality. Controls: Very simple & easy to handle. Just 4 buttons - Power on/off/play/pause/Bluetooth pair, Volume up/track forward, Volume down/track backward, & Noise cancel on/off. Comfort: These earbuds are some of the most comfortable, light-weight, & secure in-ear that I’ve tried. It ships with 6 different gel cushion tips, including 2 sets of memory “Cloud Foam” tips. I started out with the standard gel tips which are very comfortable, but found the Cloud Foam tips to be even more snug. It also includes “Cush Fins” which are unique to JLab. They serve as a stabilizer in the outer ear area. They’re comfortable & help secure the earbuds if you’re moving around or jogging. Also included is a pop-on neck band; however, I prefer a minimalist feel without it. Battery Life: Although, they come mostly charged, I fully charged them prior to use. Using both active noise canceling AND Bluetooth, I got about 7 hours of use in the first round. I’m sure I would’ve increased battery life without noise canceling. Cables: It comes with a Micro USB charging cable (approx. 31”). As a nice touch, it also includes an adaptor for wired use. This is perfect for flying or, if you’re not able to recharge, they will still work with any laptop or smartphone.

When I got my Jlab Epic Executive Wireless headphones for Christmas, the “Cloud Foam earbud (their brand name for the type of earbud tip)” tip was cracked down the middle and unable to be used. I contacted customer service to see if I could get the one pair of earbud tips replaced. They said it was no problem and they’d send out a replacement. When I got the package, it was not only the broken pair but a package of 5 or 6 “Cloud Foam” tips ranging from super small to really big. They were all black except one pair in the middle that was blue. Coincidentally, that blue pair was the pair I needed. However after using them twice, the Foam came apart from the plastic inside like the glue just wasn’t strong enough. So I called them again to see if they’d replace it. They agreed to send out another package of “Cloud Foam” tips to replace the one broken one. From the sound of things, I’ll get another package of 5 or 6. The guy who took my call was actually the one who processed the original order and remembered me. He knew where I was from and what my original problem was. Jlab’s Customer Service is AMAZING. I just asked for the one pair to be replaced but they sent me an entire set and I imagine I’ll get the entire set again. I could not be happier with their Customer Service!!! I also absolutely LOVE the headphones. When the Bluetooth battery dies, I can plug the charging cord into them and there is an attachment that converts them into “wired headphones” and they plug into whatever device you’re using whether it be a tablet or a phone. I can then use them until I’m done for the day and am ready to plug them into a charger. They are also noise canceling headphones. There is a button you can push that will make them noise canceling but it runs down the battery faster. It goes from over 11 hrs of usage time to about 7 hrs of usage. Still great battery life!!! BEST BLUETOOTH HEADPHONES EVER!!!!!

The TL;DR on these JLab wireless noise canceling headphones is: they have a lot of fit customizability and good audio quality, but questionable noise reduction. I’ve been using Bose wired earbuds with my last two iPhones, but really wanted something wireless; seeing that these had active noise reduction sealed the deal. Upon opening the package, I was immediately impressed with the number of options for fit. In addition to the usual three sizes of rubber tips that go in your ear opening, there was a set of foam ones, and a set of triple-flanged ones (like ear plugs). I found the foam inserts to be the best when doing anything that caused me to sweat, and the triple-flange sealed out the most ambient noise. Sound quality for music was on par with the wired Apple earbuds that come with the iPhone; fine for the average listener, but audiophiles would likely find it less than great. Phone calls resulted in 2 people remarking that I sounded hollow or far away, but were fine on my end. I suspect I had the mic opening facing away from my face for those two calls, because no one else mentioned anything. I must admit, I didn’t notice any difference when I turned on the active noise reduction (ANR). I tried it multiple times, in a variety of situations, and was able to detect the same sounds with it on as with it off. I’ve not used ANR headphones before, so I don’t have anything to compare it to, but if all the well-known ones produce the same result as these, I don’t understand the hype.

This is my 2nd pair of JLab ear buds and I have to say they are pretty decent. I prefer the behind-the-head design over my JBud Pro’s which just hang down under the chin. There are six different tip choices and two sets of fin cushions to help hold the buds in your ears. This is the first time I’m using the fins and I have to say I am impressed with the fit, which is solid and comfortable. No worries about these falling out on their own. There is also a somewhat formed casing that fits over the neck wire which makes it more comfortable to wear. The Epics paired almost immediately to my phone and iPad and pair to both if both are in range. The buds will play which ever device plays first and will switch to the other when the first device goes silent. Charging was fast and the battery lasts through 4-6 one-hour commutes. The sound is bass heavy but balanced nicely with highs and mid-tones. Not tinny or cheap sounding at all. I didn’t notice any difference from the JBud Pro. The Epic Executive has Active Noise Canceling but I’m not really sold on it. When you turn it on, you hear a burst of white noise then they seem to level out and lows like engine noise seem to disappear. One other thing about the ANC, it works even when the buds are powered down so when you turn it on, you need to remember to turn it off, otherwise, it will wear down the battery. I like the convenience of being able to connect a 3.5mm headphone jack for non-Bluetooth devices or those times when the battery dies. I would have rather had just one plug though rather than the USB adapter plug that connects to your buds and a separate plug to your device. I still dislike the wire JLab uses in their earbuds, its thin and seems to have a strong memory effect. Overall, I am pleased with the JLab Epic Executive headphones and would recommend them to a friend.

I have been generally impressed with jlab and the quality of their earbuds. The best thing about jlab is they keep innovating and listening to their customers feedback to improve their products at an affordable price. The epic executive wireless earbuds do a great job at noise cancellation. They did come pre-charged and lasted me around 7 hours out of the box. Since I travel every week and am on flights noise cancellation does matter and these headphones do an excellent job of noise cancellation. An additional feature id that you can connect these to the in-flight entertainment system by using the plug-in module and then go wired. The foam tips are snug and stay in no matter what activity you are doing. Also these paired with my iphone without any issues as well as a samsung tablet. The call quality was excellent even when in noisy places like an airport terminal and the other party never complained of excessive background noise. The package comes with 5 different sizes of foam tips, multiple cush fins, a removable neck band, an aux adapter as wellas the regular micro usb cable and a travel case. This is an excellent pair of noise cancelling earbuds with lots of accessories to fit everyones need with smart addons.

I had tested many in-ear headphones and so far these have fit my ears the best. They actually stay in my ears without having to fuss with them constantly. They came with Cloud Foam tips with I do prefer. The only problem I had is I lost one tip the first day. They tend to fall off easier than the other tips. I did contact JLab and had a whole new set of tips in about a week. Very good customer service. These headphones are also very nicely balanced. You have the power pack on one side and the controls on the other. This makes the weight of both sides even. It is about time someone thought of this. Most others have the control on one side which makes that side heavier which causes the whole wiring to always slide in that direction when moving. NOT THESE :-) they stay centered. The only disappointment to me is the noise canceling feature. I just really can't tell a difference when it is on or off. With any other headphones I have owned with this feature, you really notice the difference. Maybe I simply have not been in an environment to notice a difference. I also noticed the noise canceling feature stays on when you turn the unit off. This I assume this will kill your battery. For these couple reasons, I removed 1 star. They still sound great and cancel noise effectively either way. All that said, with many in-ear headphones in my house to choose from (5-6 pair), these have been my go-to now. PROS: -Battery Life -Sound Quality -Better bass than most others I have tried -Balanced Well -Fit -Plug in cord option -Bluetooth Connection CONS: -Noise canceling not super impressive -Cloud Foam Tips fall off easily -Noise cancel does not turn off when you power down without pressing a separate button. Bottom line, For the price I think you will be very pleased with this purchase. I think JLab is really starting to produce some nice products.

After my 5 year old Sony's wore out, and spending around $100 and 'noise cancelling' low budget headphones, while not getting the quality I once had with my Sony's, I went into Best Buy looking for the next best thing and was prepared to spend almost $100 on a pair of high quality ear buds. I started looking for wired, because I didn't want to deal with the battery charging stuff and I honestly think you lose quality transmitting over bluetooth. I mainly use these headphones riding my dual sport motorcycle long distances, other headphones, I almost have to have on full volume to gain the clarity I desired. With these, I was instantly surprised. Even without the 'noise cancelling' they were far better than what I've been used to. The noise cancelling seemed gimmicky while turning it on/off driving home and sitting in the office. I dismissed it, until i got on the bike. There is so much wind noise, engine noise, and road noise, that it can be overwhelming. I turned the noise cancelling on, and it somehow deafens those noise, bringing clarity to whatever's being played. I'm also possibly the lightest sleeper on planet earth. I have discovered the noise cancelling works great to drown out partiers, critters meandering around in the woods at night, and some annoying co workers. I had never heard of JLAB prior to this, and would definitely recommend them. The battery life is great, they re-charge quickly, the packaging was awesome, it comes with a neat little case, I don't know what they could have done better. Superb product JOBY, well done.

The likes outweigh the no likes, that forces me to grade it better than average. Like IP54 limited dust protection/splash resistant, wish it was ip67. Comfortable, I forget I am wearing them. Other neck wrap styles headsets fail to meet the comfort of these. Innovative ideas with many things. The rubber neck piece is removable if you prefer the wire rather than the wrap. The adjustment of the wire length is unusual also, in a good way. More than 11 hours advertised battery life with ANC turned off. Stays connected continuously with little to no battery usage if nothing is playing. Mic is extremely clear. No like: The waffle looking earpiece is extremely uncomfortable. Bluetooth range is poor, walking more than 6 feet away from my phone could cause a disconnect. Other times it reached up to 20 feet. Active Noise Canceling is a joke, seriously I heard as much with it on as I did with it off. The only thing it accomplishes is using the battery quicker. Controls are wonky, I kept redialing last call when pausing. Pausing when trying to use Google assistant. I never was able to dial last number intentionally. Conclusion: If you are looking for a headset to workout with. No just no. Look elsewhere, it is splash resistant and won’t last many sweaty workouts. If you are looking for noise cancellation. No, just no. It is a complete joke that it is advertised. If you are looking for a very solid headset for work, sitting around, travel, etc. Pick up a set. They are nowhere near as good as higher priced competition, but they are the best JLab I have tried so far. For the money saved, you will be pleased. They are far from perfect, but they are quite good.

I wear around the neck bluetooth headphones every day. I use them all day at work and away from work. These are not going to work for me. I did like the extra piece of silicone that helps keep it in the ear if you're really active, and the noise canceling feature, but not much else. These included a silicone piece that goes around the wire to better keep it around your neck, but it still felt like it might slip off my neck. There are 2 plastic pieces a little lower down past the silicone piece. These will allow you to run the ear cables through them so they don't dangle so much, but I truly prefer the retractable earbud cables. These are very light, but that adds to the feeling they won't stay on. When using the noise cancelling feature, you could hear a slight buzz when it kicks on, then true silence when it kicks off which happens multiple times a minute. That was distracting. It comes with a case that's more for your extras than the headset itself. Included is a charging cable and an adapter. Rather than using another auxilary cable to wire these headphones in, the charging cable plugs into the adapter that has a 3.5 mm adapter. This makes that configuration very big and bulky. Multiple earbuds of all types and sizes are included as well. The box said these are "pre-charged" but they only lasted a few hours with minimal use. I can't give an accounting as to how long a full charge lasts because I wore them only that day. I charged them up to wear them again, but I was more comfortable with the ones I had when I got these.

What's important to me in bluetooth headphones? Comfort, sound, connectivity. Comfort - I have very small ears so comfort is very important. JLab has definitely listened because there is now an extra small headphone rubber and a medium cloud foam tip. These cloud foam tips are one of the best things that I have seen in a long time. Squeeze them and place them in your ear and they mold to your ear. Beware, it is uncomfortable for about 2-5 minutes but then you won't even know that they are even there. I switched back to the gel tips and I was so happy that there was an extra small size and they fit perfectly. Sound - There is no app to adjust volumes so you basically use your device equalizer to control treble and bass. I normally leave mine off and the sound is still great to me. Battery - I have gotten over 4+ hours of continuous playback, I typically don't listen to anything more than 4 hours. I am unable to correctly say how long the battery life last but the headphone do fully charge in less than 2 hours, there is also a battery indicator bar that displays on my phones notification bar. Connectivity - Bluetooth set up is super easy. Just push the center button on the right side headphone (with the volume buttons). Beware that you are not able to walk away more than 5-10 feet with losing connection. There is an auxiliary adaptor in case you still want to plug in the headphones. The headphones also come with a carrying case as well! Would I buy these again, ABSOLUTELY! Recommend to friend or family. YES!

The JLab Epic Executive Wireless headphones offer good sound and a rich feature set for $100. You can read about the full features in the product description but I will highlight some of the core features, functions and benefits. Key points - Active noise cancellation - You rarely see active noise cancellation on a $100 headset but Jlab's manages to it in an affordable package. It does work to a point but is not great. I can definitely hear a difference for background sound but I also hear this slight hissing sound. You can turn the noise cancellation off if you like. I did find in a moderately noisy environment, it did the job for phone calls. Fit - the package includes 6 different types of ear tips, a neckband and cush fins. I spent more time trying the different options to get the perfect fit than any of feature. I did settle on the soft foam inserts that mold to your ear. They definitely offer the best fit and block out sound. Unique features - this includes a 3.5 mm adapter for traditional connections. You can use it on any 3.5 mm connection on planes or similar. Voice assistant compatible - Google Assistant and Siri compatible Sound - I liked the sound. I found the range to be excellent and clear. Bass was surprisingly good. I used this on a VOIP application and it was great. Water resistant - the Jlab Epic Executive Wireless headphones have a nice rubberized coating that is water and dust resistant. Overall, I like the headphone. Clean design, decent sound and a great fit. I have had many Jlab products over the years , I have never been disappointed and typically offer a better value than higher priced alternatives.

These earbuds are a deluxe version. They are super soft foam earbuds that have what they call “Cush Fins” that catch just right in your ear to keep the ear buds in but with really nice comfort. Several sizes of bud inserts are provided so you can get the size just right for your ears. Also the cable can be adjusted to the correct length for each person – so JLAB has figured out how to ensure you can where the earbuds all day and they are comfortable and don’t get in your way. The normal Bluetooth connectivity is provided and it is easy to connect with a cell phone or with a computer or even a TV. I really liked the extra technology of noise cancellation in ear buds. The cancellation worked as well as my headphones – amazing. The sound is also outstanding – nice bass and treble as well as midrange coverage. JLAB includes an adapter that can connect to any 3.5mm jack so you can watch movies on planes or connect to the headphone jack on a PC for example – and you don’t need to be charged. I connected to a phone and a PC and the controls were intuitive and so easy to use just by sense of feel. I also connected to a Smart TV in the bedroom so that I could watch TV and only I would hear the audio. The Bluetooth connectivity of course had no problem with the extra distance from the TV (about 15 feet). I would recommend these earbuds, they are very well designed, sound great and have the extra comfort and versatility that make them of higher value than the standard level of buds.

    Terrible headphones!

I got these earphones in December and I'm very disappointed to say the least. There are several things to complain about. Lets start with the microphone, it doesn't work at all. I always have to disconnect the Jlabs when calling because everyone keeps saying "I can barely hear you" when I try to talk in them. The sound quality is poor compared to other in ears I've had, but I guess it is okay. I've had the earphones for about three to three and a half month and the quality is terrible. - If I put the wires in the things were you are supposed to adjust your length they just fall out right away. - One of the logos on the outside of the earphone has fallen of. - The left speaker barely works anymore, the sound on that one is about 20% of the right one. - The earwebbing was good at first, but is all worn out and to soft now, it doesn't keep it in place and the earwebbing falls of the earphone easily. - When I use the noice-cancelling it starts to buzz on and off. This is with normal daily use. I keep them in the provided bag when I don't use them and I otherwise I take care of them. Don't buy them!

Ive had these for a few days and I have to admit that they are better than expected, minus a few minor issues. I normally use my Bose Soundsports or Beats PowerBeats3's. The JLab's are comfortable, came fully charged and multiple sizes of ear attachments to fit most people. They also come with a carrying case and a neckband. These were pretty easy to pair and to my surprise, i was able to connect two devices at once. Once you pair them to your devices and then power them on, they will automatically connect to both devices. I liked this feature as i typically work from my MacBook, but use my iPhone X also to play and stream music. The sound quality is just ok. I wasn't overwhelmed by the quality, but there was no distortion or drops either. I really didn't notice any difference in the sound when I turned the noise cancellation on or off. It basically sounded the same. The noise cancellation overall was pretty good, more comparable to the Bose SoundSport in that aspect. The minor issue i have with these it the button setup. On both my Bose and Beats, pressing the middle button skips tracks or pauses the music. The JLab's center button dials the last number called. I accidentally dialed a number several times. Like i said this is minor, but kind of annoying, but doesn't affect the overall performance of these earphones. I would recommend these to a friend, but would go with the Bose over these earphones.

If you are looking for earbuds with good noise cancelling ability, these are worth a try. First things first, the packaging was a bit excessive and took a bit to get opened up. If they were trying to make sure nothing fell out, that was accomplished. Next, there are several sets of ear bud choices but only one set that are like a memory foam which I have had a difficult time installing simply because they hole for the ear piece itself and somewhat large. With the other ones available, I’m sure you can find one that works. They came fully charged and thus far after about 8 to 10 hours of a mix of music and conference calls are still going at about 20%. My hesitation is around the music playback; it is average at best. There is a tool I have loaded on my iPhone that will “burn-in” the set and it says to use this for about 40 hours in order to get them to their peak performance. I will keep that going over the coming weeks. Where these excel is in the sound and noise cancelling when on a call. The manufacturer claims up to 90% noise cancelling and I think these are very close. I’d recommend these for you if you are on a lot of calls, have Bluetooth capable phones on your desktop and want to use something at work besides the handset that can pair to multiple devices. I have them setup to pair with my desk and iphone so I can switch between calls and music and I have not been disappointed.
