Sound is ok but I've gotten at least as good out of $30 pair of Skull Candies. The charger is the worst part. It's horrible straight out of the package. May or may not charge.

Purchased the Epic Sport head phones. The batteries only lasted about 2 hours verse their advertised claim of 12 hours. After the initial charge it was difficult to get the headphones to charge in the charger. Needed to re-position them in the charger and secure with a rubber band. After one month, they would not charge at all. Attempted to return to Best Buy and they referred me to Jlab for the warranty claim since Best Buy will only take returns within 15 days. Not pleased with product quality and Best Buy's change in return policy.

I've tried so many different BT headsets over time. I had never owned JLab but was attracted by the price. Unboxing, great. Setup, super easy. Sound is decent, with good bass and very clear highs. The earbuds will stick in your earholes and become lodged after a little sweat builds up. Finally, the charger is just a USB cable with a magneting 4-pronged system that simply fails to connect over time. Fully charged, the device plays at moderate volume for about 1.5 hours realistically, and thats ok, IF the charger worked. But it doesn't. The JLab website is DISMAL for support and there are ZERO articles about charging fixes or workarounds. I will be using my GSP and swapping this item out today. I would not recommend this product.

With 6 different tip styles/sizes and 3 fins it may take some experimenting to get the right fit. However, once I found the right combination they lock in and feel pretty comfortable at that. I usually don't like wearing in-ear headphones for an extended amount of time, but these don't cause the strain that others have. The cable is light and thin and with the cable holder you can tighten it more to your head or attach the clip to keep it attached to your shirt collar. The sound quality on these is pretty solid and while pressing both volume buttons at the same time you can change through three different EQ sounds to suite your desire. The volume controls are light however seem a little out of place when trying to make changes on the move, where the controls are so far back behind your ear. This also leads to the one major flaw, the sound quality of the microphone always makes me sound distant on a phone call and the other person having issues hearing me, even in a quite environment. There are a few other quarks with this headset, such as the unique charger, which is extremely short which makes for a few limited charging positions, such as on a counter or in a computer. Otherwise it kind of dangles from a wall socket charger. Also, you really need to keep track of it as it is unique and not like you can just use your phone charging cable to replace it. However, it holds solid with a magnet. The carrying case also makes for a really tight squeeze, but is a nice way to help keep everything together. Besides, it hasn't needed a whole lot of charging with the long lasting battery.

Many wireless earbud reviews distinguish that they're good "for wireless earbuds." So far, sound quality for wireless technology over bluetooth or aptx just can't match good old fashioned cables. However, JLab has managed to create a pair of wireless buds that sound great period, and also are water/sweat resistant, durable, and easy on the eyes too. To start, when you open the packaging, the earbuds and one of each ear piece is displayed in a clear container that looks absolutely beautiful. Does this affect the use of my buds? No, but it's nice when a company goes the extra mile to showcase their product. The buds come with a triple flange, soft pieces, and then different sizes for each. A case and charging cable are also included. The case is big enough to hold all the extras, but not so big that it's going to be a brick in your pocket or workout bag. One nice feature that might also become a negative, is the charging. While most wireless buds I've owned or currently own use usb in some form to charge, making it easy to just grab any open cable near my desk to charge, the JLab Epics use a wireless charger. The wireless charging means the connection is magnetic, so I don't have to worry about snapping a piece off if I'm charging it in my bag, but at the same time, if you lose the included charger, you can't just pick up another cable at home. The buds are comfortable in my ears when I'm working out, which they should be, since the Epics are marketed by JLab to be for runners. One thing is the sound isolation works really well, which kind of scared me. Yes you should always be paying attention when you're out, but sometimes you need audio cues to know which direction to look out for. Overall, great earbuds that do exactly what they were designed and marketed for. Highly recommend.
