Not quite there yet.
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The be aware mode was too buggy and kept causing the earbuds to fail, the touch controls were too finicky, and the ear cushions were not quite right. This lead to a poor seal/sound quality, and even worse overall performance during a workout. These were a pass for me.

Great Sound, Spotty Connectivity
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I’ve been searching for the best earbuds for me for a while, and I was surprised by the JLab Epic Air Sport earbuds. I can honestly say they’re not my favorite, but I was surprised by the sound quality – especially for a brand I had never heard before me holding these bad boys in my hands. A few notes about these wireless earbuds: Fit – These buds are designed to have a secure fit with over-the-ear fins. With that said, I could never find a comfortable fit. Using the largest ear tips, I just felt like the buds were still loose, and the “fins” that go around the ear were not close enough to “latch on” to my ears, feeling more like an annoyance than anything. Controls – Controlling the earbuds (without the phone or whatever device you have them connected to) is done via touch-sensitive buttons on the sides of the buds. You can activate various actions via a series of single, double, or triple taps. With dry hands, they worked fine, but you have to learn what series of taps does what and on which ear – yeah, it can be a learning curve. PLUS, sweaty hands make it a little frustrating. I wish there were actual buttons. EQ Settings – There are three equalizer settings that can be changed by triple tapping on the left ear. I personally like sound with bass, so I immediately set it to “Bass Boost.” With not a whole lot of expectations, I was thoroughly impressed with the sound quality. You’ll without a doubt be pleased. Connection – While the buds seemed to work most of the time, there were several instances where they lost connection to my phone either altogether or with intermittent interference. It’s a total bummer because the sound quality is impressive, but if you’re going to have connection issues, then that totally ruins the experience. For the record, I’ve experienced the connectivity issues while the phone is a hand’s reach away on the desk or on my arm (via an armband during a jog). Charging Case – It’s bulky, but I wouldn’t ding JLab too much for that. Aside from many Apple’s Air Pods, every other truly wireless earbuds come with a bulky charging case. With that said, what makes the Epic Air Sport’s case special is that it can also serve as a power bank to charge some of your other devices via its USB-A port. That’s neat! One thing I don’t like about the case, and its biggest fault, in my opinion, is that the USB-A male charge cable is integrated. Not only is it short, but if something happens to that integrated cable, there’s basically no way to charge the case. Final Impressions – While going for a jog outdoors or sitting at my desk working on the computer, the JLab Epic Air Sport earbuds will not disappoint with audio quality. Unfortunately, the fit and Bluetooth reliability leave a lot to be desired.

Don't buy if you wear glasses
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. These earbuds find great if you wear glasses because it's going to get in the way of it hooking around your ear and the sound was just okay

Defective Earbud
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought the Epic Air Sport for a gift and sent it to Israel. One didn't work... as it was a gift, I didn't think a return was possible. So, I really cannot recommend this item. Best Buy sent all on time and the defective present is not Best Buys fault. Very spotty connection.
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. For most calls, the person listening tells me the connection is spotty. So I have to take them off. When I use the tapping gestures to control volume and on/off, sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't. However, the product does feel very sturdy, though.

Average Wireless option for working out
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I own a lot of different earbuds and the best thing I can say about these is they are average. The sound is average and did not blow me away compared to some other brands such as Sony, Jabra etc. The ear loops are super annoying to put on and off quickly. I like the idea they are going for with stability but wow are these things annoying. They don't detach either before you start thinking that. A big pro of these is the charging case. It's huge and recharges them quickly but what's really cool is it actually has its own usb port so you could charge your watch or phone on the go from the earbud charging case. The phone app to customize the earbuds is nothing fancy and what you would expect as far as adjusting the eq etc. I found the touch panel controls to only work about half the time. I do like you can adjust the volume on the earbuds themselves but I found trying to remember the different combos of buttons on each ear piece cumbersome. Even if you remember the right number of presses on which side it didn't always seem to work. To restate my first line I think these earbuds are simply average and I would not recommend them unless stability with the earhooks or charging your phone from the case is the end goal.

Wireless Headphones
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have mixed feelings about these headphones. Starting off with some of the pros. They are well built and offer great battery life and i like that they go around your ear for working out or moving around. The charging case is convenient because it offers a build in cable to charge the case and it charges the headphones. However, it is slightly bulky and i would not recommend trying to carry it in your pocket. The sound that these headphones offer is decent as well. Now for the not so great things. One of my biggest complaints is the fit. I believe this is completely personal opinion but i tried all of the different included ear pieces and i never really could find anything that was completely comfortable. The other thing is the way they go on your ears. I found it hard to put the bud inside my ear and to also get the ear piece around my ear. I could get one and the other would pop out or off. I think other than the fit for me personally these headphones are decent for someone looking for a decent priced work out headphone.
