The JLab Sport ANC3 headphones offer impressive sound quality for the price. The bass is deep, the audio is clear, and the active noise cancellation works surprisingly well. They're comfortable for long wear and stay secure during workouts. Great value!

These have everything you can look for in a pair of earbuds: hybrid ANC which work great, great sound quality, hi-res audio if you are looking for that, really nice intuitive touch controls that you can customize, they are very light, look really nice, and have a ton of battery.

Great Product, long lasting battery. The only thing that I didn't like comparing it from my previous JLab products was I dont if its just a bug on the system or on the app but every time I picked up the left ear piece it doesn't connect automatic. Tried to do it with the app if it will fix it but it doesn't. Thats the only thing that bothers me. Not like my old Jlab sport Anc 2, it connects automatically no problem

I really liked these headphones until around day 22 when the left one fried/just stopped working and made a shrieking loud sound in my left ear during a run. It was very humid so water/sweat had to cause this but that’s what the ear phones/buds were designed for. Not a fan.

Secure Comfortable Fit, with Unique Case

I wanted a new pair of ear buds for listening to music while working out and doing work around the house like repairs and yard work. I’ve got a few pairs of in-ear buds that usually stay in during normal activities, but I’ve had them fall out of my ears now that I want a new pair that is more secure to my ears. That is when I found JLabs Epic Sport ANC 3, I’ve had good experiences with other JLab earbuds, so I picked up a pair to try.
Pros:
- Secure and comfortable fit.
- Easy to use multitouch button.
- Ways to charge.
Cons:
- Noise Cancelling/Ambient Noise doesn’t work well.
- Audio Quality is Okay but not Great.
Setup:
It was easy to connect the headphones, I used the app to add them with no issues. I just had to make sure to update the app first, when I first opened the app, I didn’t see the Epic Sport ANC 3 listed in the options for devices to add. After updating the app, they appeared in the list, and I was able to add Epic Sport ANC 3 to my phone.
Software Features:
JLabs makes navigating the app easy and straightforward. When you select your audio device from the list of My Devices, all the options are displayed on the main page for the device.
The Noise Control Modes option allows you to enable or disable Noise Canceling or Be Aware mode. Additionally, enabling the slider on each of these options allows you to cycle through the option with a long press on the Multi-Touch Button. This is helpful for quick switching between modes without needing to use the app.
The Interval Timer would be great for interval training, it is easy to set the Active, Rest times, and the number of sets. Though I don’t think I’ll use this much as I don’t do interval training.
Having an Equalizer option is almost a must now, but JLabs does it one better by including customized setting instead of a flat default. There are 3 presets: JLab Signature, Knowles preferred, and Bass Boost. Plus, there is a custom setting option. This covers the presets I need; I use the Custom one for podcast/audiobooks.
Touch Controls make using the earbuds without the app simple and easy. The Touch Controls can be customized between the Right and Left earbuds, allowing 3 tap options for each ear bud and a Long Press on the multi-touch button. Additionally, there is a slide button that is defaulted to the volume up or down that can be customized. I really like the separate button to control the volume, as I often change volume depending on song or activity.
Noise Control Modes:
Noise Control Modes offer both Noise Cancelling and Be Aware, as mentioned before, but the Noise Cancelling didn’t really work well for me at first. I had to switch the earbud tips to the larger earbuds to get a better seal to get the noise cancelling to work. But even with the ear tip switched, the noise cancelling was only mediocre at best.
The Be Aware mode worked well initially for the exact same reason Noise Cancelling didn’t work well initially, the loose fit of the earbud tips. I’ll mainly be using the Be Aware mode as I plan to use the earbuds while doing projects around the house and need to be able to hear what is going on around me. The only issue I had with Epic Sport ANC 3 Be Aware mode was the sound from around me felt a bit distorted, like it was passed through a filter that changed it rather than just reduced the intensity. It’s not a deal breaker, but just an oddity I noticed.
Fit & Feel:
The main reason I picked up these earbuds was for the secure fit, and they didn’t let me down. I could shake my head, bend down, duck under, or even crawl on the ground without these earbuds falling out. Additionally, there was no discomfort, even after a full day of use (8 to 10 hours). This was exactly what I was hoping for.
I did need to change the size of the ear tips, as mentioned above due to the default ones being too small. But this was only for the sound and Noise Cancelling to work, not to keep the earbud in place.
Sound:
I found the sound quality to be good for a sport focused earbuds. I didn’t need the best quality, just something to play music in the background, hear notifications from my phone, or take an occasional call. The Epic Sport ANC 3 did all of that and more without any major issues. Call quality was good, I found that the noise canceling on the microphone wasn’t great at removing loud or constant background noise like a vehicle horn or a loud bang from something falling over in an enclosed space. Though this wasn’t a major issue, as the caller on the other side was able to still hear me just not perfectly.
Charging Case:
One of the more unique features of the Epic Sport ANC 3 is the charging case, as these clip-on earbuds are larger than simple earbuds the charging case is also much larger. But even so the case is designed in a way that makes it comfortable to be in a pocket or bag, with no sharp edges or corners. But the best part about the charging case is the different ways you can charge it! There are 3 ways to charge: Attached USB-C cable, Wireless Charging, or Other USB-C cable. I found this little feature was helpful when I had to charge multiple devices, as I always have a USB-C cable and charger within reach but often I’m charging another device with it. Being able to plug in the charging case using the attached USB-C cable or drop it on a wireless charging pad was very convenient.
Conclusion:
If you need a pair of Earbuds that will stay in no matter what, the JLab Epic Sport ANC 3 is a great set to consider. The only weak point I could find was the noise cancelling doesn’t work great, but for sports focused headphones this might not be the most critical feature. If that’s not a deal breaker for you, the JLab Epic Sport ANC 3 is a great consideration for a secure and comfortable earbud.

I've always been one to open the box and start using devices without looking at instructions until after I've gotten familiar with the device on my own. Part of that is just to see how the manufacturers developed it for ease of use. However, I suggest at least reading the instructions on the controls before diving into this one.
I was able to easily connect the device to my iphone right out of the box with no instructions, connectivity is just like any other ear buds with self charging cases. Ensure case is fully charged and lift ear buds out of case to enter pairing. Link the device to the buds. That easy.
Here's where I should have read the instructions some. As I put the device on, I didn't realize that I was rubbing the panel that controls the volume and that ALL controls are touch based....something that I find to be a really innovative, cool concept and there are some pros and cons that I'll get to in just a bit with that. Let's just say my ear got a blast of heavy metal music during this initial usage... lol
It comes with three difference size options for the ear tips for the best fit. Once I found the right size to use, I found them comfortable to wear for the 4 hours that I had them on for. They don't feel loose or too tight and I almost can tell when I have them in.
They have options for Noise Cancelling On/Off for zoning out in your music or being aware of your surroundings. Beautiful sound quality that you can easily take anywhere you need it. Battery life lasts longer than I have ever seen in similar products with the charge case, but I haven't tested this fully. Charge case has it's own cord for charging built in so if you have trouble keeping cords, don't worry about having to find this one! For those that don't know, battery life on these devices have battery not only in the ear buds but in the case as well. Putting the buds in the case will charge them without needing to be plugged into an outlet. Case has a light indicator that will tell you when battery is depleted.
Touch Control Pros:
-I've noticed with non-touch ear buds that button pushes can be a little annoying in that they can take too much to push and you feel that it pushes into your ear or moves the bud to an uncomfortable position that you have to readjust. I like that with these, a simple touch is all it takes.
-Both ear buds have the SAME controls with the touch option. With touch, there are less buttons that have to be made into the device which allows for more functions to be stored. You can change volume, play, pause, track forward/back/answer call, hang up call, reject call, and toggle noise control ON EITHER BUD. No more remembering which one the volume button is on or tracking!
Touch Control Cons:
-It is easy to unintentionally bump controls when you are inserting them into your ear.
Overall this is a good device to consider. I was also able to use these in a pinch on my work laptop to watch training videos and take calls when I left my usual headset at home. Not what I was intending to use these for, but I may consider using them going forward when I need to work while traveling.

JLab gets sound quality and secure fit perfectly.

JLab’s Epic Sport ANC 3 True Earbuds offer features that you expect to find in far more expensive devices. They are uniquely adapted for end users who are intensely active, with IP66 sweat proofing, a 52 hour battery life, an interval timer, and ear hooks to secure them in place. Because you shouldn’t have to give up on sound quality, the Epic’s can stream Hi-Res Audio (LDAC for Android; AAC for iOS) and Spatial Audio. They provide adjustable noise cancellation (On/Off/BeAware), and they invite customization via the new JLab App while employing a sophisticated hybrid dual driver. For convenience the Epics can connect to two devices simultaneously and there is a built-in USB-C charging cable or Wireless charging. It’s all here.
JLAB APP and SETUP: Make sure you download the newest JLAB App. You will be directed to make the bluetooth connection which is fast and reliable. With the earbuds now connected, the App allows access to a page of adjustments. However, accessing these adjustments is a bit confusing. Despite all the indications (music playing) and Bluetooth connection, I couldn’t find the adjustments until I clicked on “ADD a Device” and hit the “+” sign. Now the adjustments appeared but so did a second Bluetooth device listing in my settings. It took awhile to sort this out.
The Upgrade process was also a bit odd. I was offered a firmware upgrade, to which I agreed and it started . . . Until I placed the earbuds back into the case, whereupon the upgrade quickly failed. Not what I expected, as previous earbuds from other manufacturers required placing into the case. Not a big deal, but reliably finding the complete set of adjustments or an upgrade should not be a mystery. This odd behavior seems to be corrected a few startups later.
There is another page in the App with Ambient Sounds, a Burn-in Tool, the Control Guide, and the Jlab Store Access. JLAB provides a small library of pre-made ambient sounds, presumably for restful periods or even efforts to fall asleep. The Burn-in Tool seems to be a response to the occasional professional reviews that suggest headphones, earbuds and speakers require a break-in period to sound their best. While this may be true, I disagree with JLAB’s implementation of this “solution” in earbuds. The instructions to remove the earbuds first and lower the sound to 50% are poorly emphasized, and the abrupt and harsh initiation of the loud sound is jarring, even at the suggested volume. Despite being safely in my hand, this may be the loudest sound I’ve ever heard from an earbud. Regardless of its merits, this burn-in feature seems ill-advised. When I attempted to interrupt the Burn-in process, which I believed I had successfully done, I was surprised by intermittent bursts of burn-in noise that persisted until I shut down both music and JLAB apps. As I mentioned earlier, this is not a good idea. PERFORMANCE: Sound quality is very nice, crisp, with decent bass, and a remarkably natural sound easily approaching that of the best earbuds out there in the marketplace. For some female vocalists, I found the upper frequencies a bit hot, but there is that wonderful multichannel equalizer in the JLAB App that allows for whatever amount of sound contouring I feel I need. The bass performance was a different challenge. It requires a snug fit in the ear canal for optimal sound. Unfortunately, the very secure earhook became an obstacle for me. My ear anatomy and the fixed position ear loop are incompatible. The earhook ensures that I won’t lose the earbuds, but it also prevents a tight fit. As a result, I had to press on the lower edge of the earbud to achieve the ideal bass performance. My daughter had no such problem. Even without my assistance, the sound quality was still quite good, but I believe it could be even better. Keep in mind that your ears will be different from mine. Regardless, the JLabs were always comfortable to wear.
Calls are handled quite well. I tested noise cancelling in my standard test room (the laundry room with both washing machine and dryer humming away) and during a home renovation with a handyman removing some tile and flooring. During the laundry room test, noise reduction was above average but it could be improved. The sharp noises of tile removal and chisel on concrete were only slightly reduced, but it was still very helpful allowing me to work in the same room. But, keep in mind, my earbud seal was not good. This will affect noise reduction and bass response. I found the on ear controls a bit fussy and not always predictable. Getting the results I wanted could be a bit random. I may need more training.
SUMMARY: I like the JLAB EpicSport ANC3 earbuds for their accurate sound quality and wealth of adjustments and sound contouring options. JLAB has stuffed a lot of features into earbuds that are nicely priced. I would predict that some continuing fine tuning of the firmware will eliminate some of the rough edges I encountered during setup and using controls. For those users involved with all types of physical activities, these earbuds stay glued to your ears. My fit issues are unique to me, and you should try these for yourself. I can recommend with the caveats noted above.

Great Features and Price

While JLab is a lesser known manufacturer of audio products, the quality and price of these earbuds surpassed my expectations.
Pros:
- First, my favorite feature is a built in USB-C charging cord. It folds up into the case which keeps it protected from damage when in transit, and then folds out anytime you need to plug in to a laptop (or other device) and top off the charge.
- I like the design of how these earbuds wrap around your ear and provide stability. For anyone that's lost earbuds down a vent or into a toilet, you'll appreciate this. There is no discomfort and you can be very active with these without worrying about them falling out.
- The touch controls work perfectly and are easy to learn. I've used many other earbuds with touch controls that don't always function consistently so this is an important feature for folks that don't want to keep grabbing their phone to pause playback, take calls, adjust volume, etc.
- Sound quality for both music and podcasts was very good. You can get better audio quality than this, but not at such an affordable price as these are listed at.
Cons:
- The packaging design could use some improvement. To get everything out of the box I had to basically tear it to shreds.
- The extra ear tips that are included are loosely packaged and are at risk of getting lost very easily.
Overall, these noise canceling earbuds are a great buy. I don't think I've seen any at such a good price point with all of the features that they have.

The amount of options of ear buds that are available is just getting better and better ...
Jlab keeps stepping up their game by keeping their prices and providing consumers with options besides main stream labels.
So setup was super easy. Download the android app follow the steps and I was in. The great thing is these earbuds can link to multiple devices. Love it. I have 2 phones 1 for work 1 for personal amd these flawlessly go between the 2. Makes being able to differentiate between work and personal.
User interface is great. Super easy to use app. Super easy to use buttons and slide function on the earbuds. Sound is great. Noice cancelling is decent. Pass through or ambient is decent.
Fit is good. Wrap around ear is enough but not too tight to where it causes cartilage soreness. Working out in them is good. Does not slip off even when super sweaty and bouncing around.
Battery life is great. Case holds decent charge and the case also has its own USB c cord attached... YES! Also this is wireless charging. So different options to charge these earbuds.
Size of case is slightly larger than the small earbuds due to wrap around design and the built in USB c and the wireless charging.
Based on all the pros I would definitely recommend these earbuds for what it is advertised for.

These Jlab earbuds deliver a balanced and clean sound with a solid audio range. While they don’t particularly excel in any one area, the overall quality is satisfying and consistent.
Features - The case has a sleek design, though it’s a bit bulky for smaller pockets. However, the built-in USB-C charging cord is a nice feature—extremely convenient for on-the-go charging. The earbuds themselves feature an over-ear hook design that locks them securely in place, making them nearly impossible to fall out. This is great for those who prioritize a secure fit, but the snug design creates an earplug-like effect, which might feel uncomfortable for some users.
These earbuds also support wireless charging, and I was pleasantly surprised to find they work with my Anker MagSafe charging station. I was previously under the impression that this dock was only compatible with Apple products.
Oddities - One quirky design choice is that the earbuds are reversed in the case—the right earbud fits in the left ear and vice versa. Even after regular use, this still trips me up every time.
Other Issues - Unfortunately, I’ve encountered consistent connection problems with these earbuds. Using an iPhone 16 Pro Max, I experience frequent signal disruptions (every 5–10 minutes), even when my phone is close by and I’m inactive, such as listening in bed.
Overall - The sound quality is solid, and the fit is exceptional if you need earbuds that absolutely won’t budge. The case’s built-in charging cable and wireless functionality are definite perks. However, the recurring connection issues and the earplug-like fit, which I find uncomfortable, have made my experience less enjoyable than I’d hoped.

great pair of earbuds for working out

I really needed a pair of earbuds that stayed on my head while exercising, and to be straight to the point these have been the best at that so far.
Setup of these earbuds is super quick, select the size of earbud you want, install, then pair them with your bluetooth and off you go.
For the purpose of JLabs calling them "Epic Sport" earbuds, I would definitely say that wearing these while using my treadmill and ellipitcal seemed to be on point. They never fell off nor did they feel like they wanted to.
Pros / features:
Boasts 52 hours of battery life (with charging case) (12+ hrs single playtime)
10mm driver + knowles balanced armature
spatial & hires audio ~freq(20Hz-20kHz)/16 ohms
bluetooth 5.3 (range about 30 feet)
earbud charging time (< 2 hrs), case charge (<2 hrs)
controls (touch/swipe)
voice assistant compatible (siri/google[google fast pair])
Jlab app (eq, custom controls etc)
Cons:
in my opinion these earbuds sound pretty good, but i have personally heard better earbuds, the bass for me didnt feel that deep, maybe i just need to mess around with the eq more but i just didnt feel these sounded as good out of the box as i was expecting
With that said though, the way these stay on your ears is really good (at least on my head) they fit snug and once in place did not want to fall off no matter what i was doing, stretching, running etc.
Which is kind of what i was hoping for, as far as the audio sound goes; if i had to put the audio on a number of what i have heard being the best at 100 and the worst at 0 these would fall about 85 for everything i have listened to over the years.
Overall these are some pretty good earbuds, with some good features and a pretty decent price point. I would recommend these to anyone looking for a good set of earbuds to workout with.

I’ve had the opportunity to own many pairs of headphones and earbuds. I have become partial to earbuds that have an ear-wrap piece to help keep them in better. The Jlab Epic ANC 3 buds fill the bill nicely, and I was excited to get them.
Coming in a nice charging case with both a USB-C male and female connection – which was great thinking by Jlab – and provides the best flexibility for charging. Nice work. Combine that with the 68+ hour battery life and you have an incredible combination for travelling and workouts leveraging a once a week charge! That’s a first for all my earbuds!
Sound quality is nearly as good as you can expect from such tiny devices, yet Jlab figured out a way to leverage a dual-driver solution to produce decent bass to crips highs. Quite a feat for these small devices.
Active Noise Cancelling is also built in. Jlab calls is smart active noise cancelling that continually listens and learn to better identify sounds it should try to reduce. I assume the learning take a little time, but as of yet haven’t really noticed that is has been learning much. I can tell a difference when it is working though – so it’s another clever idea!
Overall – I’m happy with these stay-put earbuds because there’s nothing more annoying that walking around or working out only having to stop frequently to adjust them – which doesn’t happen with these!

The JLAB Epic Sport earbuds are my go-to earbuds and I was excited to try out the new Epic Sport ANC 3 to see what improvements have been made. Right off the bat there is a new design, they are a bit transparent and the part that goes inside your ear has a different look and feel as well as the whole earbud being slightly smaller. Overall putting the earbuds in my ears takes a few more seconds than the old ones but they do feel more secure once installed and the seal between my ear canal and the earbud does feel better than previous generations. They've added a new led battery light indicator to the case instead of the little dots they are now bigger led lines that are easier to see. They've also replaced the two-sided charging cable with a USB-C charging cable while also adding another USB-C port to use an external cable all while retaining the wireless charging on the case from the previous generation, so you have multiple options to charge the case. The sound on the Epic Sport ANC 3's is a great step up from the previous generations with the addition of the LDAC codec and the new larger speaker drivers these earbuds do sound better although not as loud as the older ones. Even though they aren't as loud as the previous ones the new version of their active noise canceling makes it so you don't really hear anything above what's coming through the earbuds and it works so well you don't really notice that they aren't as loud. The Epic Sport buds have been known to not have good microphones for voice calls and in this case, it remains about the same with the Epic Sport ANC 3's, they are slightly better than before but if you're doing any important calls then these aren't the earbuds for you. The touch controls have received a major uplift, and the touch area goes all the way up through the stem which is used for volume, and you can customize each press in the mobile JLAB app. In the app you can change various settings as well as update the firmware for the earbuds which I have already updated two times. Overall, I'm happy with the Epic Sport ANC 3's as they are my favorite earbuds and if they really improve the microphones in the next version, they could be competing for the best earbuds ever made!
