I am a repeat JLab customer because of the quality of sound and a very well made product for reasonable prices. Their bluetooth products rival any other expensive bluetooth earphones. These are very, very light on the ears. Almost too light. You can bend the hooks to conform to the edges around your ear, and then you can put the earbuds in your ears for the best fit. Both of these things need to be done to make sure you can hear, and it works. They were designed for runners or people exercising. I think they work best just sitting and listening to music because I can see them coming loose during a run or workout. The best feature is the high quality of sound, and the carrying case with USB charge strip is a bonus.

The JLab Epic Sport earbuds offer wireless connectivity and fit very securely in and on the ear. They are priced less than half the cost of AirPods and other fully wireless earbuds but offer some significant advantages. The battery life is much longer, the bass delivered is probably the best found in any earbud and they are much lighter, more secure and harder to lose. There are many options for playing music from your phone: internal speakers, external speakers, wired earphones and wireless earphones. I believe that for active users like me wireless earphones are the best choice. If you run, bike or work out regularly you certainly want to be free from wires and cannot use external speakers. The issue with wireless earphones is whether to get expensive self-contained earphones which fit in the ear and have no connecting wires (such as Apple AirPods) or earphones which have a cable connecting the right earphone to the left earphone. JLab has a great product called the Epic Sport wireless earbuds which are the latter type. Here are the specifications and features: • 8 mm driver for maximum bass • 20 – 20,000 Hz audio frequency range • Bluetooth 4.2 connectivity with AptX for better sound quality • Three position equalizer (high bass/high treble, balanced, high bass) • In-line control for volume, track skip, play, pause, answer calls, redial, equalizer setting, Siri/Google access • 12 hour battery life • Voice prompts (Power on/off, Pairing, Battery status) • Built-in microphone for calls • IP66 rating (resistance to heavy water sprays and complete protection from dust) • External memory wire ear loop for complete security • Six sets of alternate tips (Extra Small, Small, 2 sets of Medium, Large, Triple Flanged) • Three sets of cushioning fins • Cable management clip • Nice compact hard-sided travel case to hold everything • Audio burn-in software • One year warranty Included in the box (see photo) are the earbuds, instructions, five extra sets (extra small, small, medium, triple flanged and large) of alternate tips and three sets of cushioning fins (which fit into the ear to secure the bud), a magnetic USB charging cable, a clip to attach the wire to your clothing and a nice hard-sided case to hold everything. JLab also has a free app that you download to your phone (either Android or iPhone versions) which gives you access to a “burn-in” file which is supposed to condition the driver to provide better sound quality by loosening the diaphragm with a nonstop loop of white noise, pink noise, radio white noise, 20-20000 Hz frequency sweeps, 10-30000 Hz frequency sweeps, 20-200 Hz frequency sweeps, as well as a minute of silence in between each for a rest period. JLab recommends that this file be played for a total forty hours (in 3-5 hour sessions) in order to fully condition the driver. Everything looks very well made and the earbuds have a special sweat-resistant coating to protect them from moisture and dust infiltration. They are rated IP66 which means that they can withstand at least 3 minutes of continuous high pressure water spray in any direction with no damage. It also means that they are completely dust-proof. You could wear these earbuds in the shower without fear of damage! First step is to charge the ear buds. Just attach the magnetic charging cable, plug it into your computer or a USB outlet and the LED light will turn blue when they are fully charged (about two hours when fully discharged.) JLab says a full charge will provide twelve hours playing time and I can confirm that because I used them each day for three hours continuously (on long bike rides) for four straight days before I got the “low battery warning.” The charging system for the Epic Sport is unusual. It is a magnetic connector with a standard USB A plug that you attach to the in-line control module to charge the earphones. Most earphones use a micro USB connector. The JLab system is easier to connect but if you lose the special connector you will have to hunt for a replacement. I did not see one listed on the JLab website. Next, select the best fit for your ears from the wide range of tips and fins supplied with the JLab Epic Sport earphones. No matter how large or tiny your ears may be, you can be sure that you will be able to assemble a comfortable arrangement for your listening pleasure. After you have the earbuds put together, take the “memory wire” loop and match it to your ear, bending it to give a nice snug fit. It will retain that shape and give you absolute certainty that you will never lose these great earbuds, no matter how vigorous your workout or sports activity may become. Now you are ready to enjoy them! Pair the Epic Sport earbuds with your phone via Bluetooth. An audio prompt guides you but my phone paired them quickly and without drama. Put the earbuds in your ears and the loop will secure it there. The Bluetooth connection is super-reliable. I have used the earbuds in my home and can walk 30 feet from my phone without a connection break. If you lose connection it quickly restores itself when you come back into range. It is a Bluetooth 4.2 system with atpX. The “atpX” feature is supposed to improve the sound quality transmitted via Bluetooth with a superior codec. You can now start playing music immediately. The Epic Sport will respond to various voice commands, allow you to interact with Siri, take calls, etc. The inline control has three raised symbols (up arrow, down arrow and JLab round logo) which turn the earphones on/off, raise/lower volume, equalizer setting, skip tracks (forward and backward), pause and repeat tracks and has a microphone for use during calls. Full instructions are included but the use is pretty intuitive. Sound quality is superb, very clear and distortion-free with excellent midrange and highs. The bass is outstanding because these earphones have the largest driver (8 mm) available on the market. The earphones are very light (about one-half ounce) and the connecting cable is not noticeable when you use them, especially if you use the included clip to attach the cable to your clothing. Most wear the wire behind their head but I prefer to have it hang under my chin and find that is less noticeable when running or working out. I have two minor qualms about the earbuds. First, the control unit is placed just 1.5 inches below the loop for the right earbud. It was probably placed there to give quick access but I think if it were located a little further down it would be easier to use. The other issue I have is that the controls do not have a distinct “click” when pressed and there is no notification of which equalizer setting is in use. Not big faults but noticeable when you first use the earphones. Bottom line - the JLab Epic Sport earbuds are an excellent value for serious music fans who want an ulta-secure and dependable workout partner which can deliver thumping bass to help you maintain your pace right through the last mile of your next Marathon. You will be glad you chose them!!!

With 6 different tip styles/sizes and 3 fins it may take some experimenting to get the right fit. However, once I found the right combination they lock in and feel pretty comfortable at that. I usually don't like wearing in-ear headphones for an extended amount of time, but these do not cause the strain that others have. The cable is light and thin and with the cable holder you can tighten it more to your head or attach the clip to keep it attached to your shirt collar. The sound quality on these is pretty solid and while pressing both volume buttons at the same time you can change through three different EQ sounds to suite your desire. The volume controls are light however seem a little out of place when trying to make changes on the move, where the controls are so far back behind your ear. This also leads to the one major flaw, the sound quality of the microphone always makes me sound distant on a phone call and the other person having issues hearing me, even in a quite environment. There are a few other quarks with this headset, such as the unique charger, which is extremely short which makes for a few limited charging positions, such as on a counter or in a computer. Otherwise it kind of dangles from a wall socket charger. Also, you really need to keep track of it as it is unique and not like you can just use your phone charging cable to replace it. However, it holds solid with a magnet. The carrying case also makes for a really tight squeeze, but is a nice way to help keep everything together. Besides, it hasn't needed a whole lot of charging with the long lasting battery.

First, the magnetic charging port is great. Decent sound from a Bluetooth headset that weights so little. I''ll have to see how the wire ear loop lasts over time. I was looking for a headset that I could still hear the traffic around me when I ride my bike, and not pop out of my ear. Snug fit. Clever multi-functional button presses allows for power on/off, bass (equalizer) PAIRING ETC. All in all a good sound and long battery life. Worked well on phone calls too.

Ive Never been a fan at all of earbuds. Either they dont stay in well, or fit is uncomfortable. Not at all the case with thse Jlabs, fit is great, comfort is just as nice, and there are many assorted sizes inserts included. Also included is a small accesory case, and charging cable. The sound with these is really nice for any earbud Ive tried. They are clear with a good amount of bass. Battery life is great, I got 3 days of use before charging them. I really like how well they fit in the ear, and that theres a shapable cable that runs behind the ear to better keep these in place. Theres volume up & down buttons, as well as pause/answer call. While the price imo, is slightly steep. These have everything a quaility set of earbuds need. I definitely recommemd these to anyone who works out, and or likes wireless earbuds.

I'm a sweater - meaning I sweat a lot working out. I've had many issues with finding earbuds that will stay in my ears for the duration of my activity due to my heavy perspiration. However, these EPIC Sports worked awesome, stayed snugly in place and have become my go-to earbuds when working out! I attribute most of the fit success to the adjustable memory wire that you can mold to your ear to assist holding those earbuds in place. They also come with 5 ear tips and 3 cush fins to really get the right fit for your ear. Did I mention that are IP66 splashproof? Yup - that will handle my heavy sweating - just don't take them in the pool with you. Sound quality is very good with the 8mm drivers in each earbud. There are 3 different EQ modes to choose from as well, so you are bound to like at least one of them. I haven't verified the 12 hour play time yet - likely I won't ever run them out as I recharge them weekly. Added bonus - a travel case to protect them in your backpack! Definitely a solid performer that I will use often!

I really like these buds. The fit snug and the piece that goes around the ear is easily adjustable so the earbuds don't fall off while you are exercising. They come with several earpiece sizes for fit and comfort. The sound is excellent and have 3 different presets in the included EQ/enhancer. They were very easy to pair with my android phone. I have not drained the battery until dead, but they easily get me through a work day and to the gym, so around 8-10 hours (the first 8 hours at work obviously not constantly listening to music). They come with a nice charger that is magnetic. The only pro was the packaging, man I had to fight to get it open, other than that they are perfect, oh, and they come with 3 months of Pandora music for free!! Also a nice carrying mini pouch!!

JLAB tends to offer high qulaity products. Speaking of headphones market in this range of price you may find chaeper but looking into price, durability, quality of sound, accessories, voice commnads function these pair are great choice. In terms of quality these pair are pretty good and washable. BT 4.2 for better connection and range besides the APTx technology. I liked the magnetic charger for secure charging. I have been using it almost a week with my iPhone X and iPad Pro 10.5 using Siri and I don’t see any issues in terms of BT connection or falling off my ears while running. Happy with it

I use these almost solely for working out. They stay in my ears well and hold a good charge. The sound is a little bass heavy but it does have a decent soundstage. This is the third J-Lab bluetooth product i've owned and I will say, the connectivity isn't perfect, but Overall I'm happy.

I purchased these earbuds after trying several other brands. To be brief, here's what you need to know: -the sound won't impress audiophiles, but for a pair of running/ sports buds, the sound is nicely balanced and ambient sound is sufficiently cancelled. - the buds do not slip out during a workout or long sweaty run - they come with a clip to shorten the very lightweight wire connecting the buds, making it unobtrusive during a run -maybe best of all, the battery last forever. I've used these for hours and hours in the almost month that I've had them and charged the battery only once! Consider me impressed!

I love these headphones. They are not wireless, in the sense of no wires at all, but they are wireless in the sense of not plugged into your device. The sound quality is really good, and the comfort is really good as well. The length has some adjustment with the little connector, which makes them more comfortable and tighter fit (or looser, depending on your positioning them). I use these for lifting and running, and love them. I may have to reposition them if I'm sweating heavy, but they don't fall out.

I wasn't sure what brand to buy for running and settled in on these. I am very pleased with the battery life, the quality of the sound and overall performance of these headphones. I didn't want noise cancelling headphones for safety reasons. These hold up quite well on long, sweaty runs. There is not magnetic function to clip them together but it comes with a case for the headphones and charger and several sizes in earbuds.

Awesome sound quality, especially for price. JLabs is also locally designed in Carlsbad, CA which is why I chose these headphones. Although the clip is a little flimsy, I bought for my fiancée for Christmas and he L O V E D them. He could do two 10hr work days with these headphones with complete battery life and play time. Unfortunately he lost the en route for his job as a truck driver. We will miss them dearly and will be saving up to buy a new pair. Still—Awesome product JLabs!
