Light and Easy to Wear for Runners

One of the biggest challenges I have has as a runner is finding a pair of wireless earbuds that will stay in the ear and not be so bulky as to bounce around while running. These earbuds more than fit the bill for my needs. They have several tips available to ensure a good fit in the ear. There are no bulky pieces on the buds or the cord so there is little to no bounce while running. As for sound, they are adequate. Very good, but not great sound, is what I have found while using them. However, fit while running is the most important thing to me so these definitely earn my liking.

I really like these JLab sport wireless earbuds. They are very easy to set up/pair with bluetooth device. The directions are very easy to follow in case you need help. The sound they produce is pretty good for the price. What I like best of all is that they stay on while I am running. I have had other wireless sport earbuds and I have to adjust them to keep them on they way I like them. With the JLAB earbuds I rarely have to do that. I highly recommend these earbuds if you are very active and you want the earbuds to stay in your ears.

I am very impressed with the JLAB Epic Sport Wireless Earbuds. They work very well and are surprisingly comfortable to wear. My ears are relatively small but the various earbud tip options made it easy for me to find a set of tips that fit very well and I am confident that most people will be able to find a size that is just right for them. Overall, I am very pleased with this product and I highly recommend it!

    Great sound, questionable design

The JLAB Epic Sport Wireless Earbuds provide the sound and portability I have come to expect from the JLAB. Crisp highs, deeps low, clear mids... all in a bluetooth package. This particular design, however, left me questioning the overall practicality, durability, and construction. Unlike other versions of the JLAB portable buds, this one requires a weird magnetic connection to the control section of the neckpiece to charge. This wouldn't be a problem, except unless you happen to be carrying a wall charger in your pocket (it won't fit in the carrying case), you have to charge from a computer which makes your headphone dangle strangely from your USB port while charging. Easy to be stepped on or snagged depending on where or how your USB configuration is. PROS - JLAB SOUND QUALITY - Easy to setup - Easy to wear - Portable CONS - Design is questionable - Charging is questionable - Durability unknown - Carrying case is too small!

Well, for one I take my ear buds very seriously and as a cyclist I always use wireless (bluetooth) variety. I recently spent over 200.00 dollars to purchase some that do a little more then just music (they take your pulse etc)... Unfortunately I only use them for music as I have other gadgets for pulse and such. So I was getting tired of the heavy expensive earbuds I use regularly. Now, this is my first JLAB so had no previous experience and low expectations. THE SOUND WAS AWESOME. I know there are three settings for sound on these and honestly I havent decided which I like more but man, I was very surprised at how nice the sound is. Also battery seems to last soooo much longer then my other ones that I have to constantly charge. The JLABS have impressed me so far, I am not a fan of the fact that the charging cord is not just a basic (android style charging usb) cord but either way thats a minor issue just making sure I do not lose this magnetic charging cord. Fits very well in the ear, they seem to give you all kinds of ear foam buds so you can find the ones you are comfortable with. Very well done and my go to ear buds now :)

Genuine Sports Headphones, Great Noise Isolation

This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.

There are a lot of sports headphones on the market. The JLab Epics are IP66 sweat resistant but what sets them apart is the ear hooks. These are PROPER ear hooks in that they have a thin strip of wire in them (I guess it's wire) that lets you mould the hooks to sit tight and comfortably around your ear. Most sports headphones just have plastic hooks that flop around. Another big distinction is the JLabs noise isolation is amazing. They have a bit of rubber that fits around the buds, so when they're in you're ear the connect is sealed. The isolation is almost as good as noise cancellation. Wow. The other thing that sets these apart is the charger is not micro USB but a magnetic attachment. I have been more prone to charging these as I don't have to fiddle with an annoying charging flap. Just drop in the charger and it all goes. Sound quality is great. You can adjust equalizer by pressing the volume up and down simultaneously for 3 different preset (I prefer the bass boost version). Very happy with the JLab Epics - finally a quality sounding sports headphones that stay in my ears and on even during heavy workouts.

Packaging was really bad. Struggled to open the box and get to the headphones. Headphones wasn’t charged fully when I opened the box. I had to wait to switch on the headphones. Setup was quite simple. Paired it with my iPhone. JLAB has given multiple earbuds for different ear sizes. Still doesn’t seem to fit well in my ears as other competitive brands do. Sound quality is good, not the best for the price point. Charge did not hold well, 2 hours. I expected more from this. Charging is easy, but the wire could have been a little longer. Not sweatproof, so don’t expect to use this for hardcore workouts or running. Overall, dissatisfied.

These are a great set of earbuds. First off, they paired up easily to my Google Pixel, something that a lot of earphones don't do. The magnetic charger is so nice. It's about an inch long and it clicks to the back of the volume controls. No messing with a little rubber door that feels like it's going to rip off every time you charge the set. It comes with an assortment of ear pieces, s,m,l. ear bud cushions and 2-3 ear cushions to seal the buds. Thats the one problem I have with these buds. When I get them to seal, the bass and music sound great. Using them at the gym works. But when they don't make a seal on either ear, they sound tinny with no lows. It could just be my ears or me, but I tried the medium buds that are installed from factory and then I tried the large. The medium are the closest to fit me and the large wouldn't even go in, so there's that. The small would most likely not seal, so I didn't even try them. I chose just to mess with them a bit and get a good sound. Like I said, once they fit, they sound good. I'd recommend them to a friend.

    Underwhelming Earphones Misses Big Points

The JLAB Epic Sport bluetooth earbuds have a great sounding name and look the part too. The spec list looks great, 12 hours battery life, sweatproof, and built-in equalizer! What's not to like? All these add up for what makes a pretty good set of fitness earbuds on paper. Sadly, that's about where it ends - on paper. Setup is pretty straightforward with a long press on the power button. No need to read the manual there, it follows what seems to be the defacto standard with Bluetooth earbuds. One paired, everything works as expected. It even has a smart assistant trigger via pressing the power button twice quickly. It's a cool feature that sets it aside from others. Audio playback is ok, not the best, but good enough to accept for something that gets 12 hours of battery life and is sweat proof. That allows for a week or two of workouts or a few long runs without needing to remember to recharge. Call quality is great. It still is surprising when one gets great call quality, but average music playback, but I will give credit where due. However, it's going to be tough to get through all those workouts or even one of those runs, at least if your ears skew on the smaller end. I've experienced this before with JLAB, but their drivers just tend to be on the large end. It could be an engineering design to ensure a tight fit that won't slip out of your ear (despite the earhooks) when taking the sweat-proofness to the max, but for me, it ends up just being so uncomfortable that I can't wear the buds for more than 30 minutes. And after a couple sessions, I just rather deal with slipping earbuds than the ear pain. Ultimately, this is what stops this rating at 3 stars. I think the bones are there for a 4 star product, but long term comfort is a pretty big deal for earbuds in general, and particularly for ones that would be used in a workout environment where you may wear them continuously for a couple hours.

These JLAB wireless earbuds are adequate earbuds that come with some nice extras. There are lots of different gel buds to choose from so you can find the perfect fit, and I like the little carry case that is included. The earbuds stay on well and although I haven't tested this the moisture rating is pretty good so it should withstand rain etc. Sound quality is "OK" not great but good enough. Battery life is around 12 hours as stated. The one thing I really don't like is the charging cable. Rather than use a micro USB slot like literally every other manufacturer does, there is a dedicated charging clip that slips over the earbud controls and is held in place magnetically. So if that specialized charging cord is damaged or lost you are out of luck. JLAB, just use a micro USB next time!

What I like about these is the Blu tooth 4.2, I like to watch things on my phone and this really cuts down on the audio delay. They are really comfortable. The wires bend good to give you a custom fit and feel good and secure in the ears. I mostly use these for working out and they do good. My problems are that battery life sucks, used them 3 times and they were dead even though last use said "moderate" battery. Blu tooth range is poor so stay next to your phone.

Hi So I have had a few bluetooth earbuds over the years... these sound really good. One thing I liked about them right away was when I opened the box there were LOTS of earpieces to make the fit perfect. So no matter what size your ears are you should be able to get a good solid fit. They did not feel heavy or anything when wearing them. I have been impressed with the overall sound quality as well as the battery life. Syncing them was a snap too. My only complaint is the case they come with is not overly helpful. But I find that to be true of most earbuds I have had. The cases are not that spectacular for sotring them. Been very happy with these so far.
