I use this keyboard for work because I needed a device that could connect to multiple devices. My setup allows me to use the keyboard with my work PC via the included Wi-Fi dongle, and I can easily switch to Bluetooth to connect it to my phone. This lets me respond to text messages or adjust the sound on my podcast or music streaming to my headphones. The keyboard supports connections to three devices: two via Bluetooth and one through the Wi-Fi dongle.
The two-year warranty is an added benefit, as I will use this keyboard daily. The build is nice and sleek and should hold well.
I'm also excited to upgrade my mouse to one that supports multiple device connections. I’m considering completing my setup with the JLab Epic wireless mouse. If anyone from JLab sees this, I would love the opportunity to try it out and provide a review!

I was thinking about this one or the Logitech pro wireless keyboard and I got this one because of the price difference and it’s very high quality. The only thing that is slightly annoying is that it “goes to sleep” if you don’t press the keys working a certain time. It’s not a big deal it’s just sometimes it’s sooner than you’d expect.

The JLab Epic Wireless Keyboard offers consistent keystrokes with no dead areas, making it suitable for both gaming and typing.
The keyboard features a dedicated metal knob for controlling music and other functions, adding convenience to the user experience.
However, some users find its construction to feel less then premium, and the typing experience is reasonable to most.
On the plus side, it boasts good battery life, providing decent endurance for prolonged use.

Unboxed and immediately put it to use. My favorite feature is the profile keys that are light and comfortable to the touch. I also love the fact that the markings on the keys won’t EVER wear off. It was spendy but given these features and the fact that I I work from home and spend all day online, this was an excellent purchase.

I am very satisfied with this keyboard. It is very quiet and has a “light touch” which I prefer. I can type faster on this keyboard over the HP I was using. I bought one for work and one for my home computer. The only negative thing I can say is that the black channel up at the top is kind of a dust magnet.

Great keyboard... The only downside for me is the home, end, page up, and page down keys... they are not arranged as they usually are in this one and I use them a lot... The top 3 keys were replaced for the quick switch between devices.
It was confusing and instead, I went with the Logitech - MX Keys S.
Again, this was in my particular case. If this is not an issue for you, then go for it. You wont regret it.

I love a good keyboard and have been fortunate enough to use quite a few over the years. So when I saw the JLab Epic Keyboard I was intrigued by it’s sleek design and features. Once unpacked I began setting it up and was happy to see some key customization options in the JLab work app I downloaded to my computer. It is really handy to be able to assign keys to the most important and most used functions on your device. I also really like the Media dial and it’s functionality. It adds simplicity to controlling your media. You can turn the volume up and down, start and stop whatever you are watching or listening to as well as track forward and back all in one knob/button. While using the JLab Epic I have noticed that the keys really feel good. They are very smooth and have a nice feel to their response. Some of the best-feeling keys I have ever used for this type of short-travel keyboard. It has exceeded my expectations in this regard. I also of course like the backlit keys. However, I do wish they would get a little brighter but that is usually the case with any keyboards I use. However, they are sufficiently visible even in a lit room. I just wish they were bright enough to look really white in a dimly lit setting. Another feature I like is the dual wireless options of the 2.4gz and Bluetooth. It has the ability to connect to two separate devices using the two built-in dedicated keys which is also nice for tech enthusiasts and in a work setting as well. This gives you the ability to use tablets and phones with it in addition to computers. It also has a nice concave-like feature at the top that can be used to lay a pen in for devices that you can draw on. I also noticed that it has a settings button on it which gives you quick access to your device settings and it works well on Windows. I do not remember seeing that or the home button which would be great on an Android device or perhaps an Apple phone or tablet. It even has a camera button which I am not sure how I would use unless I was a photographer on a set I suppose. While using the JLab Epic I realized that I wish someone would make an oversized keyboard for people with big hands. I seem to accidentally hit other keys frequently. Maybe they will take note and come up with a version like that with more space between the keys for people with big stiff hands like myself. I also noticed that there were no flip-up legs in the rear to further elevate the back of it. Some multi-angle rear ratcheting raisers would be good. Maybe add those features to the JLab Epic Mega keyboard! All in all, I am very pleased with JLab's execution on this version and would definitely recommend it to someone looking for this type of keyboard. It is a good buy for the price point!

Great rechargeable wireless keyboard

The JLab Epic Wireless Scissor Keyboard is a full size rechargeable, wireless keyboard. It will connect to 3 devices, and it is simple to switch between devices with only a keypress. Connecting to my Windows 11 laptop, iPad Pro and Android phone was quick and easy.
What’s in the box:
• Illuminated, wireless, rechargeable JLab Epic Keyboard
• 2.4 GHz USB dongle
• USB A to USB C charge cable
I’ll be the first to admit that I don’t usually like wireless keyboards. They are often light and dance around on my desk when I type. But this one has just enough heft and nice stable feet to keep it nicely in place. I also really like that it is rechargeable. I haven’t had it long enough to know how long a charge lasts. But I won’t need to buy batteries. The keyboard has a battery indicator, so you won’t be surprised by suddenly needing to recharge. This keyboard also has a number pad, which is essential for my work. The keys are slightly concave, which makes hours of typing a little easier. There are even keys to switch between Mac, Windows and Android layout. Bonus item is the media volume control, a very nice touch.
The keyboard has several preprogrammed shortcut keys that I find very handy. These include:
• Windows settings
• Windows Screen clip
• Windows Desktop switcher
• Windows Calculator
Using the JLab Work App, you can further customize the keys.
I highly recommend this keyboard if you are in the market for one. The price point is reasonable, but it is solid and doesn’t feel “cheap”. Switching between devices is effortless and the fact that it is rechargeable and lighted make this a winner.

High-End Board At A Great Price

I went with this board over the latest Logi MX Keys. The first thing that brought it to my attention was the value for the money. This is a high-quality build keyboard loaded with features from a unique media control knob to customizable keys. The materials are top of the line and the battery life is fantastic. It also looks very sleek in just about any office setup. The keys also light up with 10 levels of adjustable brightness and are made of soft touch material.
I like this board a lot but there are 3 cons that I've noticed with about a month's worth of heavy use. The least is that the soft keys tend to look dirty from your fingers and are impossible to keep looking clean all of the time. Not a big deal, but noticeable. The second is a bit more of an issue, which is the speed of the Bluetooth connection using the multi-input system. The JLab Epic Wireless Keyboard is capable of connecting to 3 different devices. It comes with a wireless receiver which works great and connects very fast when changing inputs. It also has 2 Bluetooth inputs. This is where it can be a little slow. When you switch to a Bluetooth device, I find it takes around 4 seconds to connect. It may not sound like much, but if you are constantly going back and forth throughout the day, it can become a point of frustration. Now the 3rd con to this keyboard is in my opinion, the biggest flaw. The con being that there is some sloshing in the button presses. Meaning that the button travel and a little too soft instead of crisp which I find results a in an increase of doubble letterr presses (if you know what I mean). This to me can be a possible deal breaker as typing is the primary function of any keyboard. That has to be right above all else.
All and all, I still think this is a great keyboard for the money. If you're looking for a high-end keyboard that doesn't break the bank, I would say the JLap Epic Wireless keyboard is certainly worth your time to try out.

Sits Pretty and Does it All

This keyboard is indeed Epic.
It is solid, heavy (in a positive sense: it is not going to skid around on your desk), and it is full size with a number pad. Of course, it is also lighted. No batteries are involved- you charge it with the included USB-C cable, and the charge is supposed to last for months. I have used it for a week, and the red LED, indicating it needs a charge, has never come on.
I quickly paired my Windows pc and my Mac Mini via the two sperate Bluetooth pairing buttons on the keyboard. You switch between them easily on the keyboard. Also supplied is a dongle that attaches via Wi-Fi. It was just as easy to set up: a separate 2.4gHz key lights up and you press it to connect to the dongle. I did not have a third computer available to switch between, so I stuck the dongle in the Windows pc. I could pull the dongle off the Windows pc and the keyboard was still connected via its Bluetooth pairing. By the way, you can stow the dongle when not in use underneath the keyboard.
You need to use the dongle and download the Jlab software to get full use of the programmable key functions, and there are a plethora of options available. You have 3 specialty keys that can be programmed as you please, but it does not stop there. All of the f keys at the top of the keyboard can be reprogramed to perform different tasks than their default functions, and if that method does not supply enough combinations, the software lets you switch between 3 different Programmed set ups. My head is literally spinning with all the possibilities!
This is not a clickety-clack keyboard. Its operation is virtually silent. I enjoyed typing on it, and got excellent speed, limited only by my typing skills. Having a keypad again when I had lived without one for some time felt really good.
And then there’s the media knob at the top right. It’s metal, solid feeling and fun! Use it to control the volume on the pc by turning it like an old school volume knob. Press it to pause a media file and press it again to resume playback. Double press it to track forward, and press and hold it to track back. You will wonder how you ever did without this feature.
The keyboard is very attractive. It is obviously marketed by Jlab to compete with the well-known Logitech MX line of products. The Jlab website touts a direct comparison between both models. I own both, and they each have their strong points. The Jlab Epic compares favorably to the MX line in many areas, and Epic’s price simply cannot be beaten for its level of utility and programmability.
Highly recommended.

Great Hybrid Keyboard!

I was looking for a wireless keyboard with extended keys + physical volume controls and this fit the bill nicely. With its reflective piano black finish on top, and a matte metallic-effect finish elsewhere, it’s very classy for everyday use while also fitting in perfectly with my gaming accessories.
Build and Feel:
This keyboard is best described as great quality for the price. At well under $100 you get a lot for your money. I love the dedicated volume knob and would have recommended it just for that alone, but it also comes backlight and with the extended numeric pad and full sized arrow keys for gaming. I knew that I didn’t want a super clunky mechanical keyboard, so the more modern style presented here is preferred. Keys have great travel and are very quiet. JLab describes the keys as having full-depth, and they certainly have more travel than my standard Mac keyboard. I’d say its key travel is somewhere between a full-on mechanical gaming keyboard and a modern laptop keyboard, which is why I call it a hybrid. It’s nice and only took a little while to get used to.
True Toggling:
I appreciate that the Alt/Command keys, etc. are presented with a dual label, making this a true Mac or PC toggling keyboard without question. Switching between devices couldn’t be easier too, the dedicated informatively backlit bluetooth and wireless switching buttons made it easy to use a single button press to move between an iPad and PC, for instance, with the PC connected by the dongle and the iPad paired to one of the bluetooth keys. In practice, I don’t know that I’d personally use this feature all that often, but if/when you need it, it’s a nice feature to have.
Custom Keys and Work App
There are a few custom keys above the arrow keys that you can program, or at least you should be able to. I installed the JLab Work app to my Mac as directed and it simply did not work at the time of this review. I could not select anything beyond English as my language and the small image of this keyboard remained greyed out despite being connected by the dongle as directed. I assume this is a temporary issue that will be worked out, but just be aware if this is an important set of features for you out of the gate. On Mac, the volume control has worked out of the box, but screen brightness has not.
Overall, I’d recommend this as a nice all-around keyboard that’s uniquely positioned between minimalist and mechanical keyboard styles. It has a few extra bells and whistles (love that volume knob!) while looking professional and being approachable for a wider range of uses.

I love this keyboard I have been using it over a year now and it is very sturdy feelign but not chunky. I like the feeling of the click of the keys and the little bit wider set up of the key layout its not so compact. I also love the volume button. the number keys are also great. I love love love the feature that I can switch from one device to the other with the blutooth # 1 and #2 its amazing I highly recommend and the quality is just second to none don't hesitate this is a great product if this one goes out I will buy it again and again!

Great keyboard if you have multiple devices, can control up to 3 devices (2 BT and 1 wireless with enclosed USB adapter). Battery life is very good, and unlike most keyboards, is very sturdy and keys have good quality feel to them. Goes into sleep mode to conserve battery life, and can charge from USB-C connection on laptop or PC (cable is included as well).

Pros:
1. Good key press feel. Scissor switches for those who like them. There's just one issue (see note 1 in the cons).
2. Layout was nice with the start key on the left. Might not be for everyone, but I also liked the full height function keys.
3. Volume knob. This is my favorite feature on the keyboard. Great to fiddle with too if you're a fidgeter!
4. Price was great for the quality feel of the keyboard.
Cons:
1. The squeaking...there is a squeaking/squonking that occurs that makes it feel like this keyboard needs to be oiled or the casing is a little too close to the keys. The spacebar is especially bad, audible over discord with noise suppression turned off.
2. The backlighting is on a timer and will shut off if you are not actively pressing a key. If you're in a dark space, this kind of defeats the purpose of a backlit keyboard. This function does not appear to be able to be changed.
3. The screen capture button replaces the print screen button. This is a key I use quite a bit. While the screen capture button did open the Snipping Tool, I lost the ability to take instant screen caps in multiple games. In addition, the key stopped functioning within a month of using this keyboard, potentially due to a windows update. It's a useless key now. This is not 100% JLab's fault as it did work once upon a time. If you're a print screen key user though, be aware there isn't one.
4. Battery life is not great. I generally have used wired keyboards my whole life, so maybe my experience is a little skewed, but the keyboard would only last a day or two at most, and I generally kept the backlighting on the lowest setting AND it has an auto shut off. I had so many instances of the keyboard dying mid session, that I finally just left it plugged in all the time.
