Customers are saying

Customers are impressed with the Epic Wireless Mouse's long battery life and comfortable ergonomic design. Many appreciate the customizable buttons and ease of use, along with the convenient Bluetooth connectivity and OLED display showing battery life and DPI. However, some users found the mouse too large for their hands and noted that the scroll wheel could be improved. The responsiveness was generally positive, though occasional lag was reported by a few users.

I have the JBuds Mouse and use it for travel. I picked the Jlab Epic Mouse to keep at home. It's a usb-c rechargeable mouse that offers up to 4+ months of usage per charge. It various buttons beyond the left and right such as buttons to go forward or back a page when in a web browser. A DPI button to select from 4 levels of sensitivity, a pair of secondary buttons right behind the left and right mouse buttons, and a Jlab button that is defaulted to the "Show desktop" feature which minimizes all open windows down to the taskbar. The Piece de Resistance however, is the OLED display that sits right above where your thumb rests. It displays battery level, DPI selected, and whether it's connected via the 2.4gHz dongle, or one of 2 other devices connectable via Bluetooth so you always know what's going on with the mouse. Cursor moving too fast? View the DPI setting on the display. Cursor not moving? Check to make sure you have the desired device connected. Do I need to charge in preparation for tomorrow? That's there on the display too. Really an excellent feature! It's also got a nice weight to it and good ergonomics for my large (think palm a basketball) hand. The only knock is a feature I miss from Logitech where you can unlock the scroll wheel to spin almost infinitely making scrolling through huge documents a breeze. JLabs Epic Mouse 2 has that feature, but appears to have dropped the very useful OLED display. Not a trade-off I'd be happy to take. Anyway, after 2 Logitech Marathon mice whose buttons/switches failed prior to the mouse's 3 year battery life resulting in phantom double-clicks, followed by a Logitech M720 that had the same button/switch failures much sooner, I'm hoping this Epic Mouse lasts much longer.

This mouse was an honest surprise. Never heard of Jlab before so i guess i didn't know what to expect. They really knocked it out of the park for me on this one though. It has a great weight to it. I'm so happy i found a nice weighty mouse. The screen on the side is just plain cool. The switches are practically silent and have a good tactile feel. overall it's put together really well. I've handled $100 gaming mice that will like happy meal toys compared to this. I feel like this will hold up for a long time hopefully because i really like using it. Two biggest cons are that the scroll wheel isn't very grippy, so if you aren't intentional enough when scrolling your finger will just slip on the wheel. Also, this mouse doesn't have a wired mode. I mean, you can charge it with a USB cable but it only communicates to your PC wirelessly. That's unfortunate. I can see myself using this mouse for long long time. I really love it. but someday the battery eventually gives up; and when it does, i'd like to be able to still use it with a cable. If they ever do a revision in the future, i would prefer a mouse that uses replacable AA batteries or just give me a wired mode so it's not e-waste when the internal battery goes. This isn't really a huge deal i guess. I have a 7 year old Logitech G900 and it's battery is still decent. But it also has the option to use a detachable usb cable. Still a five star mouse. Just a minor annoyance. I would buy a second one of these as backup if i ever catch them on sale. But it's absolutely worth full the $60 if you don't already have one. If this was a Logitech mouse with these same features it would be $120+ any day. This is a great value.

This is the second one of these I've purchased because the ergonomics and the ease of use is great. The only negative is the USB transmitter doesn't work great, you get some stuttering and momentary disconnects - happened on both of mine, but if you use it connected via Bluetooth instead it works great, so I'm glad this mouse offers both connection types.

This mouse is great! I needed a Bluetooth mouse because I do not like wireless mice with receivers that tie up a port that I need for more crucial devices. It was a great price considering similar mice cost over $100 elsewhere. I like the way that it fits in my hand. (I have large hands.) It is responsive and I love using it. JLabs makes quality items. I own a set of earbuds that I bought made by them to go with my Galaxy Note 20 and they still work and sound great! I also bought a smaller JLabs mouse for my fiancée and she loves it. Highly Recommend!

The perfect competitor to the MX Master 3S. The stacked buttons on the left side do not feel cluttered like the MX Master 2S. Also, its digital display on the left side makes it more aesthetic than its rivals. Overall a perfect buy for an office / home setting.

I love this mouse! Why? Lets start with the techie goodies... I am techno-dweeb. I love most anything techie. This thing has Bluetooth, USB dongle, an app, multi-programmable and it even has an OLED display? An OLED on a mouse? What techie person wouldn't love all of that? As for the OLED, it shows the current DPI, battery level and what mode you are connected currently. OK, another thing I love is the comfort. I have larger hands and some mice can feel small to me and cramp my hands quicker than others. This mouse is a perfect size for larger hands. I had my my wife and daughter each use it for a day and they both said the size and feel was great for them as well. Well done JLab! The built in rechargeable battery charges via USB. Battery can last up to 6 months, depending on use. Even if a single charge lasts half of that, that is great. The battery charges quite quickly and the mouse can be used whie it's charging. As for the buttons, there are 9 of them including the scroll wheel. They are widely (and easily) programmable and customizeable. On a final note, tjis mouse is quiet. Even when we are traveling and the wife goes to bed before I do, the clicks are almost silent. End of the day, this is an exxcellent choice, especially for the price. If you are looking for a great all-around mouse, hard-pressed to not go with this one.

    A solid mouse by JLab

There are countless numbers of manufacturers who dabble or specialize in peripherals for computers. Some have a more solid reputation, while others do not. There's quite a bit of rubbish floating around, so it's always nice to see a company such as JLab which aims to produce quality devices. And so, here comes the Epic wireless mouse. Good or bad? Before delving into the more technical aspects, you should keep in mind that this mouse is aimed at an office setting, it also works well with other types of software such as graphics design or CAD, but I wouldn't use it as a gaming mouse. Pros: + Pleasant ergonomic design which avoids cramps or wrist pain during long hours of use + Runs with both blue-tooth or a provided 2.4gHz dongle + Plenty of buttons to assign to specific functions + Super quiet, no clicking sound + DPI can go as high as 2400 + Has a nice little OLED screen built in which displays all the info you need + Rechargeable, the battery lasts very, very long and the charging cable is braided + Companion App is limited in options but easy to use Cons: - The scroll wheel looks and feels great, but is horribly slippery as there is no grip to it - The size might be an issue for people with smaller hands I really like working with this mouse, but the scroll wheel is really slippery and I often end up clicking it by mistake, which can get annoying after a while. Aside from that, this mouse is very well made, it feels solid and works very nicely. If you can get past the wheel, you'll get a good mouse which can be used in many different settings. I hope JLab will keep improving their peripherals as they seem to have a knack for it.

First impression: My first impression of the JLAB Epic Mouse is that it is a well made and comfortable mouse. It is packaged nicely, and comes with a user pamphlet and a nice, braided USB cable with a filter at the computer end. Setup: This mouse doesn’t require setup, you can use it right out of the box. However, you can customize it and it is easily customizable using the JLAB Work software. I installed the software and configured the buttons the way I wanted them. I set the DPI to 2400 and the refresh at 250 Hz. I know this will most likely reduce the battery life, but it should still work for months with a single charge, and charging is relatively quick; it’s nice not having to worry about battery life. I do CAD work, and I like the ability to place the crosshairs in a precise location. I saved the config, and it was done. Performance: The performance of this mouse is amazing. I have two 34” wide screen monitors, and I can get from one side to the other quickly yet place the cursor exactly where I need it to be. It glides nicely on my table and is easy to move with its light weight. This mouse can be connected via Bluetooth or with a USB dongle. When I first turned it on, I set it on Bluetooth 1 and pressed the connect button. Within 10 seconds, it was connected to my computer. To use the JLAB Works program, you must use the USB dongle. So, I switched over to USB and it also connected immediately. I programmed the left mouse button for left click, the front right button for right lick, and the rear right button for double-click. I tested these and it works great. I will need to get used to the double-click button as I don’t have a mouse with a button in that location. I programmed mouse button 4 for volume up and button 5 for volume down. Again, on my computer those worked great. For button 6, I programmed it for Lock PC. As an IT engineer, I never walk away from my computer without locking it. This button is easy to get to with my thumb, and while the ctrl-alt-del, three-finger salute isn’t difficult, if my hand is already on the mouse, it is much easier and quicker. Conclusion: I have been using mice daily since 1998, and my wrist tells me about it every day. It is important for me to have a mouse that is natural and comfortable. If I do, I go all day without any wrist pain. If not, there’s Ibuprofen. This mouse is very comfortable and my wrist rests on it in a natural position. The speed of the mouse is fast, and the ability to place the cursor in a precise location is spot on. The ability to program mice isn’t anything new, but the extent of choices on this mouse is well beyond most, and you can program 3 different profiles for 3 different users or computers. If all of this is not enough, the small OLED information screen is nice, I like seeing my battery levels rather than finding out the hard way. I really like this mouse. If you need a good, comfortable mouse, with both Bluetooth and USB connectivity options, and would like to program buttons with tasks outside of normal mouse tasks, then I highly recommend this mouse. This mouse is now permanently residing in my laptop bag which goes everywhere with me while working.

I have been using computers in some form or fashion since about 1987 with the pet computer i learned on in school and if anyone remembers those they will understand the 10 print goto line 20 and so on, but that's just giving you an idea how long i have been using a mouse on a computer. So this mousse is not bad and it has a couple features i really loved but it's missing out on a couple myself as a gamer really like to have. I can't be to tough on the mouse though because it does not say its a gaming mouse anywhere on the box. So one feature it's missing its not really why it's getting 4 of 5 stars. That feature is the instant DPI that gives you that sniper button for gaming were the mouse is moving normally you click and hold a button normally near your thumb and it makes the cursor crawl to get a pinpoint movement of the mouse. There is a DPI button on the top middle of the mouse to change the DPI of the mouse down from 1200 at the lowest setting all the way to 2400 at the highest settings. The other feature it was missing was being able to take the DPI any lower than 1200 at the lowest setting. To me the mouse still feels like it's moving to fast as you move it across your screen. It has 2 programmable buttons right behind the main left and right clicking buttons. One feature it has that i have not seen before and i really liked was the home button rite near your thumb that no matter what screen you see in front of you,you click it and it takes your computer back to your desktop screen. Very nice feature. The weight of the mouse feels very nice, it does not feel cheap at all. Another nice feature it has was the lcd screen so you can see the battery life and the settings you currently have it set at. After a few seconds of no use the screen will turn off. One last really nice thing was when installing it you have the option of a bluetooth setup or a usb dongle setup. The little USB dongle is in the bottom back inside the mouse so it's out of the way. Setup was so easy a 2 year old could do it. Literally you turn on the mouse chose bluetooth or usb click connect on the bottom of the mouse and your done, that easy. Also it is USB type C rechargeable with the charging port on the front of the mouse. Personally i think that's a bad area to put the charging port because say your battery dies while using the mouse and you want to charge it while playing a game or using the mouse, well not it's going to be very awkward with the charging cable being pushed around in the front of the mouse. All in all i really liked the mouse and the features it has,but lacking a couple as a gamer i would love to see. But the biggest thing for me was comfort or not comfortable and to me i did not like the feel of the mouse because my had always felt like it was going to slip off the mouse. It's kind of hard to explain, but my other gaming mouse i can rest my hand on it and it does not slid off the back of the mouse but on this mouse my hand is constantly sliding off the back of the mouse. Now given i dont have the biggest hands in the world but to me i just did not like the feel of this mouse.

This mouse is comfortable to hold and at a good weight. Too heavy or too light is not good but this mouse is perfectly weighted. All the buttons are well placed, has nice clicking feel and they are almost silent, definitely quieter than other mouse. Its shape is identical to the other mouse brand. This mouse can connect wirelessly to 3 devices, one with the usb receiver and 2 via bluetooth. At the side has a oled display that display the dpi, battery level and connection status. You can use the app to customize the buttons, you can also use just the oled display and the center button behind the wheel to customize the mouse. However, the main left click button, wheel button and the button behind the wheel cannot be customized, minus 0.5 star. No flywheel option or acceleration for the scroll wheel so minus 1 star. The mouse dpi are fixed to either 1200, 1600, 2000 and 2400, no way to change to say 800 or 1400 etc., minus another 0.5 star. The mouse has rechargeable battery but I don't know if it is replaceable. At the bottom has a cover that open to a storage area for the usb receiver. This mouse has an on off switch which is a plus. The mouse can also go to sleep automatically when idle. In the app, click on the update app does not download and update the app but it opens the website where you can download the app and we cannot tell what version is on the web. Included usb-a to usb-c cable is braided and very nice, feels high quality.

First impression of the JLab Epic Mouse is the size; It’s a big mouse with good ergonomics and full of features that make it a pleasure to use. I own several computer mice and this one has quickly become a favorite. It has a built-in rechargeable battery and a total of nine buttons plus the scroll wheel which, at first, was a bit intimidating. Each button has a default command that can be customized through a desktop app. The mouse connects through Bluetooth or a dongle and can connect to three devices; one through the dongle and the other two via Bluetooth. I’ve been using the mouse at work and at home connected to different computers. I had a few Bluetooth connectivity issues in the beginning, where it would no longer reconnect to one of my computers but it seemed to have gone away. Bluetooth set-up is quick but I recommend reading the manual first to make it easier since you can connect up to two devices with Bluetooth. The manual is available through the desktop app which in turn can only be accessed while connected through the dongle. Customizing the buttons through the app is simple and fast. I like the amount of different commands that can be assigned to each button. I don’t play videogames on PCs but this mouse sensitivity (DPI) can be adjusted with 400 increments from 1200 up to 2400. Using this mouse is a joy. It feels well built and it is completely quiet; you won’t hear any clicks and, despite the size, its shape makes it comfortable to use for long periods of time. My hands are medium sized and it’s pretty easy to reach all the buttons. I also like the OLED screen on the left side that displays the battery level, the connectivity and sensitivity settings. Jlab claims a battery life of 6 months or more; I’ve been using it for long hours everyday for a few weeks now and the battery level is still close to 100%. Remains to be seen how long the battery will last on one charge, but it doesn't seem to be an issue for the moment. It’s been a great experience so far with the JLab Epic mouse. It’s epic in features and epic in size. People with small hands might find it a bit oversized; however, in my opinion, it offers a comfortable ergonomic design and a variety of features with a precision optical sensor that make the JLab Epic mouse definitely worth considering if you’re looking for a good wireless mouse.

Ok this review is for the JLab - Epic full-size wireless bluetooth optical mouse in black. My first thought when unboxing was it looks and feels like a nice quality mouse. It fits my hand very well. Giving me a good grip on it. But my wife with smaller hand said it was a little big for her. So that something to think about for people with smaller hands. After unboxing setup was a breeze. I decided to first try the provided USB wireless dongle. And it was as simple as plugging it in to an open USB slot on the front of my desktop. It instantly connected to the mouse and I was up and running. No need to download anything if you don't want to. But if you do you can use the JLab Work App, to program specific buttons to fit how you like to use your favorite applications. Loads of different things you can set up buttons to do. It also has a rechargeable battery. With great battery life. Also far I haven't have to charge it yet. But when it is time, it can easily be done with just a usb cable to your desktop, laptop or just a wall plug-in usb charger. And you can use this mouse with multiple. For that I next tried the bluethooth connection with one of my laptops. And just like the usb connection it was fast and easy to setup. This was a great upgrade over the stock one I have been using.

Excellent general use wireless mouse at a good value. It’s my first time using anything from JLab that’s not headphone related and I’m happy to report that their Epic full-size wireless mouse is a solid entry into the market. Whether it’s for gaming or general office use, this mouse can easily switch between 1200/1600/2000/2400 DPI at the touch of a button and you can easily adjust between a 125 hz and 250 hz polling refresh rate in the JLab Work app. The infrared tracks well and I was a bit surprised how noticeable adjusting between 125 and 250 hz could be. Usually I switch to the lower rate for longer battery life, but with an outstanding supposed 4 months of battery life, I’m fine riding high with the smoothness of 250. I haven’t had the mouse long enough to test if it’ll actually live up to the 4 month claim, but the battery has barely drained at all with a week of daily computing and gaming use. And when it does come time for a recharge, there’s a front USB-C port that should do a full recharge within a few hours. Not a bad exchange for months of battery life. There’s even a little LED display on the side that informs you of the battery life, DPI level, and connection type. Speaking of which, with 2 bluetooth connections and a USB dongle, you can easily connect and switch between 3 different devices at the same time. I recommend the USB dongle for gaming, but the bluetooth 5.1 connection has been very stable and responsive. Every now and then, there’s a little pause or delay in the bluetooth connection which might be a power saving measure, but it’s barely noticeable, especially when using it for daily web browsing and office tasks. What helps make this mouse special though, is how easy it is to program the 6 customizable buttons. Through the JLab Work app you’re able to customize each of them to either prefixed settings or a customizable keyboard one. However, while the keyboard setting will allow you to combine Control/Shift/Alt/Win keys, it will only let you combine it with one “regular” key. So, while you can program a single button to be (Shift+Ctrl+R) it won’t allow you to do something like (Shift+Ctrl+R+Space). This limits it a bit as a gaming mouse, but it really depends on the game and how you game as well. The app allows you to save up to 3 different custom profiles, so at least it’s easy to switch between custom functions if needed. The only complaints I have are more nitpicky preferences than quality or functional issues. The buttons are all the silent type, which is great for some stealth night gaming, but I honestly like to hear my clicks. The wheel also has steps to it, so I can’t just spin it freely to scroll up and down websites and menus quickly. Again, not big deals, just personal preference things. Overall, the JLab Epic wireless mouse is a solid entry into the market and comes at a good value for all of the features it offers. If you need one full size mouse to essentially do it all, this is a good pick and with 4 months of battery life it’ll be there for you when you need it. Good work JLab! PROS - 4 months battery life - 6 programmable buttons - 3 customizable profiles - 1200/1600/2000/2400 DPI - 125/250 hz refresh - Connect to 3 different devices at the same time - Easy to program buttons - Infrared tracks well - Good build quality CONS - Non-free spinning mouse wheel - Cannot go deeper into programming macro functions

I would recommend this to a friend
