Will not hold a charge
||Posted . Owned for 3 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The case will not maintain a charge. If they sit unused for a week or so both ear buds will be dead. I have several other different brand ear buds that do NOT have this issue

Leaves You Wanting More
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. In the box are the headphones, charging case, USB-C to USB-C charging cord, manual. (There is an app.) Right out of the box, these headphones in their case have a lightweight-sleek design. The cord it comes with is a usb-c to usb-c; which was great to see JLab using the newer charger, but it does not come with an adapter to plug into the wall. There’s a small protective tab to be removed, but they are ready to play right out of the box. Putting them on, I immediately noticed they do pinch your ears. It took a few hours of wear before I got used to the pressure on that part of my ear. Not to say it was entirely bad, as the tightness does keep it still. Wherever you rest the headphones, they will not move. They are also bigger than I initially thought they were, which has its own pros and cons. Great for keeping it one size for all users, and being able to adjust how they rest in your ear; however a nuisance for long haired users as the Cuffs are a magnet for any hair near the ear. Thankfully, hair doesn’t seem to activate the touch controls on the Cuffs, only skin. And even more thankfully you can turn the touch controls off (With the downloaded app), as the way the cuff rests naturally against your neck at some times it will activate the button, doing various things like skip songs and activating voice assistant. This seems to be worse when you’re active and sweating, but it could have been the way I was wearing them. The battery life was a bit lacking, as the headphones only last about five hours and charge twice in the case. It also doesn’t give you much of a warning before they die, I only heard it say battery low once before they turned themselves off. And when dead, they aren’t truly dead as they will turn themselves back on if you haven’t put them back in the case. (Learned the hard way when the touch turned them on and played music while I was asleep.) Despite this the headphones have an immensely crisp and clear sound, exceptional quality calls, and a very user-friendly start manual and app. The sound is one of the best quality I’ve heard out of headphones so far, they aren’t too loud mind you, but it doesn’t really bother me because of how nice they sound. Overall, there are a few quirks but nothing that are a deal breaker. I would recommend this product to friends and family. And I would probably purchase again because of the good sound quality.

Good open ear design for a great price
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. To start off, I have had pretty much every brand and style of headphone. I suffer from constant ear infections and wearing headphones always increases my symptoms. When I received the offer to try the “open ear style” earbuds I was eager to use them. Out of the box they were almost fully charged. They have a USB-C style charger which is great and convenient with use with my iPhone. Connecting them to my phone was very simple. The app was easy to download and get into for a few settings. During the last 3 days of wearing these headphones, I’ve lost connection to the app twice. Not sure if it’s a fluke due to the new iPhone update I installed, but I will continue trying to use it as needed for minor sound adjustments and to see the battery indicator. Hopefully, JLab will put out an app update and maybe that will fix my connectivity issues. Adding to this to clarify, you do not need this app for the headphones to work though which is a plus. The first day of wearing them, I got about 5 1/2 hours of use before the battery needed charged. Sound quality for having the open ear design was good, not great. I really liked being able to hear things going on in my office while still having a show on in my ear. It was definitely different than wearing my AirPods or my JBL earbuds with the sound and bass quality that you get from both of those brands. Was that a make or break for me? Nope! If I can have less ear irritation/infections and still be able to have the convenience of listening to music and/or listening to my shows, it’s totally worth it. Overall comfort was also good, not great. They clipped onto my ears fairly easy and once I situated them, I hardly felt them for the duration of the wear during my work day. I think these headphones are overall winners. If you have any issues at all wearing earbuds whether it’s for health reasons or comfort reasons, these JLab Flex Open Clip earbuds are a very great and affordable option. I would’ve given these 5 stars but with the app connectivity issues I had, it reduced my rating down a little.

Mixed Bag
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I am really torn on these earbuds. I really want to like them. I really do kind of like them. But, I don't want to call it a design flaw, more of a slight miss. Let me touch on the things I like and dislike. Like: Sound - Sound quality is quite good, they sound fine. More on this in the No Like when I refer to the volume. Comfort - Unlike some other earbud designs, you really don't need to worry if these will fall out of your ears. The wrap around design makes them stay in place and you have to really try to get them to fall off. They are surprisingly comfortable, you don't notice they are going around the outside of your ear. App - The app is really good. Very intuitive and just works as expected. A vast improvement over my previous experience with JLab apps. No Like Volume - I am a big dude. I also have large ears. There really is no way to adjust these to fit perfectly in my ears. This drastically affects the volume and any noise cancelling that may be achieved. The speaker is not close enough to my ear opening so the volume is not quite as good as if I push and hold them further towards my ear opening. Durability - Only time will tell, but I really fear these will have a short life expectancy. I have to stretch them to get them on and off my ears just enough I fear they will eventually crack as they age and dry out a bit. For now they are fine, just worried how they will age. Overall I am happy, just not blown away. If I had smaller ears, I would like them quite a bit more. I would recommend if they fit your build. If you have smaller ears they can adjust by rotating them so they sit higher on your ear. If you have larger ears, your milage may vary.

TRY THESE NOW!
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.the JLab Flex Open Cip wireless earbuds have been a great addition to my collection. These are some of the most comfortable earbuds I have ever received. I highly recommend these earbuds for anyone who has pain or discomfort from the in ear version! The case is a bit larger than other earbud cases I have had before, but still relatively small. the sound quality is great and it connects into my electronic devices pretty quickly! I did do a listening test with my husband and when it was quiet in the room he could hear what was in my earbuds... so no spicy books at the doctors office. ;-) but on a loud airplane or in a room with other noise they were undetectable! the charge lasts for a really long time and the sound quality has been great! I haven't tried to run in these but brisk walking they didn't budge at all. My kids also really love to use these because they don't hurt their ears and they fit both of them very comfortably. so if you are looking for an alternative to the normal earbuds definitely try these out!

Convenient Charging Case and Fairly Comfortable
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. These JLab Flex earbuds are a good design, not hard to clip on to your ears. Because there is no pressure from them *behind* your ears, I found wearing them for an hour or so at a time pretty easy to deal with. They charged up quickly and paired easily with two phones (though the app on one phone seemed to want to add another pair of them, I chose "cancel" and all was well. These earbuds don't come with various size silicone covers for the speaker end, they are designed for a "one size fits all" theory. My problem is--my ears are large--so once they are clipped onto the outer edge of your year--there wasn't a lot of "reach" for the speakers to land firmly inside the end of my ear canal, resulting in a loss of bass. And the bass with these is decent--I could adjust the fit to get them to fit a little better and the improvement in the bass was good. Overall, the sound quality of these is pretty good, especially when considering the price point. They sound as good or better than most of the budget-priced earbuds I have tested.

JBL flex
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It’s not all it’s cracked up to be. The large side sits on tge back of the ear. After a whike, it made my ear hurt. It stayed put but i took them off to give my sore ears a rest. Not for everyone. The soung was tinny- if you turned them up it was a poor sound quality.
