Solid Gym Buds - Fun Color

I’ve had a chance to try out the new JLab Go Air Sport Wireless Earbuds for a few days now. This JLab setup is focused towards active/sport users. I have been using the more premium Epic Air Sport Buds for 3 years now, so I was interested to see how these stood up. So far I have really enjoyed using the earbuds, and I can see they have some good potential.
Features
The Go’s feature an over the ear hook design (just like my Epic’As), which has served me well while I’m at the gym. These are IP 55 rated, so they are sweat resistant (do not submerge these buds). For my Epics the Bluetooth antenna was in the hook, so severely bending it would break the antenna. I am going to assume that is the case with the Go’s, so I would avoid bending the hooks too sharply. The buds come with 3 different rubber tip sizes.
The buds come loaded with Bluetooth 5.1 and a rated range of 30+ feet. While doing some yard work I was able to walk about 100ft away from my phone with direct line of sight and still have a perfect connection. I’d say that is plenty of range.
Battery life of the buds is pretty solid, and about what I would expect. I charged them up when I first got them and haven’t had to do it since. The buds themselves hold an 8 hour charge – enough for several workout sessions. The case packs another 24 hours to bring the total up to 32 hours. Unlike my Epic Air case, the Go Air case doesn’t have a charge level indicator which is unfortunate. The case retains JLab’s integrated charge cable setup, which I have always found to be convenient.
Pairing was very easy (I’m on Android). Followed the directions and paired right away. After the initial pairing I just have to pull one of the buds out of the case and its paired in a few seconds. When I’m done with them I make sure to wipe the sweat off the buds, and drop them in the case. Once they are docked the pairing is severed.
Fit/Comfort
I found the buds to be very comfortable even without the foam tips I am accustomed to on my Epic. The buds are pretty light, and the ear hooks do their job of supporting the weight of the buds without adding pressure to the ear canal. There’s 3 different rubber tips to choose from – I wear the medium. I am in the process of picking up the foam tip kit that JLab sells on their website in order to replace the tips on my Epic and outfit these. I did have my partner try out the buds, since she has smaller than normal ear canal openings. She tried the small tips and found they worked great for her and didn’t cause any discomfort. Finding buds that fit her is really hit and miss (mostly miss), so this was a nice surprise.
I never had an issue with keeping the buds in place while moving around. I’ve ran and did yard work without any problems. The ear hooks provide good stability when using the touch controls on the bud.
Controls
After using the Epic for 3 years I am pretty accustomed to the control scheme that JLAB uses. They split the controls between the buds. Right ear: 1 touch for volume up, 2 to play/pause, and press and hold to skip track. Left ear: 1 touch for volume down, 2 for Google/Siri, and press and hold to skip back a track. There are controls that work on either ear as well: 1 touch to answer a call, 2 taps to hang up, press and hold to reject a call, and 3 taps to change the EQ setting. You are able to use one bud at a time, but this causes trouble with the split controls – you lose access to the controls held by the unused bud.
In practice these controls work OK. There is some touch registration issues for the multi-tap actions, but its not overt.
Sound
Sound out of the buds is not too bad, but is lacking in the higher end. It makes them sound a little flat if you pick the Bass Boost or Balanced EQ’s. The Signature EQ sounds the best out of the 3, so I would recommend just sticking with that EQ. The Signature sounds the brightest and has just as much punchy bass as the Bass Boost EQ. The buds don’t have a ton of power for bass, getting a good seal is important. The medium tips give me a decent seal, so I can hear some more of the bass. However, they don’t do a great job of isolating outside noise (like my lawnmower). These are the reasons I’m going to order the foam tips – they provide a better seal and noise isolation than the rubber tips.
Calls worked out well as long as my environment was quiet. My voice was picked up clearly and I could easily hear the other person. However, background noise, and especially wind noise gets picked up. This is pretty common complaint for any ear bud setup that I have tried, so this wasn’t surprising at all.
Overall
I think these are pretty solid set of earbuds for the price. They sound good enough, have a solid battery life, excellent range, and a robust carrying case. I don’t expect them to blow me away, but just be competent and functional, which they are. I like the bright yellow color scheme, so it will be difficult to lose these in the gym bag. If you want to snag an extra set of buds to keep as a spare, these fit the price/performance range for a solid backup set. I’ll honestly use my Epic’s until they die/break and then either pick up another pair or I would switch over to these full time.
Thank you so much for your feedback. We love hearing from our customers and we'll definitely pass your experience along to our Product team.

Purchased Jan 19, 2024 and they worked well until May 29 when the left earbud stopped working. Purchased from Best Buy but they only have a 60 day return policy according to their return policy. I wasn’t looking to return but to exchange for another set. I have proof of purchase and feel I should be allowed to exchange them considering I only purchased them less than 5 months ago and I’ve taken good care of them.

I recently picked these up because I wanted something that I could use securely while working outside or doing things that I needed full range of motion with no risk of falling out. I have a descent set of jvc's like this, but they were about double the cost and I feel if these get dirty/clogged and can't be cleaned anymore, I could get a different set and not break the bank. Value wise, these are good. Fit comfortably, built sturdy, stay secure, and look reasonably good. Features are above what you would expect. 3 preset sound mixes, the jlab setting I feel sounds the best, but depending what music you listen to, there is a bass boost one also. The touch controls are not as responsive as I'd like, but they work, more issues with the right one when I try to skip tracks vs volume up (1 second hold tap vs 1 quick tap), I end up with blasting headphones stuck on the same track. The volume can get up there on these. Another small negative is these charge by a tiny usb cord attached to the case. Not a big deal but awkward finding spot if I'm not at home to plug this in. At home I do it on computer or charging hub that has a table under it, but in my car it would dangle from the dash if I had to charge them traveling unless I carry a USB extender. It would have been nice to just do usb c or micro USB that I have tons of cables on the car already for other things. Either way, these small flaws do not detract from my 5 star review on them, they check all the boxes for wireless headphones at this price point and a bit more I feel. The are solid built, secure to my ears, and I hope to use them often. I do reccomend these to friends and family.

Bought these in a pinch and I am happy with my choice. They fit well and stay in place. I don’t have to use both at the same time to get quality audio and they were super easy to synch. They charge quickly. The case stays charged for a good amount of time and the earbuds have a fair battery life. These are primarily used when I’m doing work, and I move around quite a bit. I have had zero issues. I would definitely buy again!

This earpiece is something you would pick up out of a Dollar store. It picks up every bit of noise and turns it into a screeching sound that punctures your ears. Cheap quality and overpriced.

I love these headphones ! I bought a pair for my son and my husband. The tight fit around the ear helps them stay in place while walking or jogging, as some I've owned, pop out of the ear and you loose them. The charge will last for hours while I workout. When I take a call everyone says they can her me really good. It also cancels out background noise when your on a call, which I love. When I where them around my house cleaning, going from level to level of my home, they don't loose the bluetooth connection at all. I'd recommend them to everyone !

I’ve been using the JLab Go Air Sport earbuds (Teal) for my runs, and they’ve been reliable overall. The secure fit is excellent—they stay in place even during intense workouts, and the IP55 rating gives me confidence against sweat and light rain. Sound quality is decent for the price, with enough bass to keep me motivated.
Battery life lasts through my longer runs, and the compact charging case is convenient. However, the touch controls can be a bit sensitive, occasionally pausing music accidentally. Also, while call quality is acceptable, it’s not the clearest in noisy environments.

Really bright green and sporty ear buds.
JLabs have always been a solid choice for audio.
This is probably my 4th set of audio devices from them.
Setup was super easy. Paired up right away. View in Bluetooth settings was easy.
Great that the USB is already connected to the device charger. No need to scramble all over the place to look for the cable.
Fit is great. The wrap around is nice and snug. The actual bud is fits in my ear nicely. It comes with several sizes to make sure it fits.
Working out it these is great. Never fell out. Sweat did not affect it at all.
Controls were easy to use. Push buttons were easy to use. Phone calls are clear.
Battery life is great. 2 straight days and it is down to 70%. Use was about 4 hours each day.
Easy to put back in and charge. The bright green makes it easy to find too.
Sound is decent. Bass is there. Volume can be cranked up and tou can really thump your ears out if really want.
I would recommend this product. Good job again Jlab.

Jlab true sport wireless have been some of the best wireless earphones I have. The fit is great I love that they have the wrap/ear hook over the back of my ear makes them more secure, no worries about having to keep readjusting or constantly falling out like other earbuds I’ve had, they are great for working out you can get sweaty and they stay in place, went for my run and they stood on my ear in place, they do come with 3 sizes of ear tips so just your size and they won’t have any issues. The have great sound and bass they get really loud. They were quick and easy to connect to my Bluetooth, you can use one earbud if needed still works great as the should. Noise canceling is awesome, I like being able to get up early on the weekends and clean without haveing to wake up my boyfriend or the dogs with loud music. You battery life is 32 hours of play time, I haven’t had to recharge them yet. Never have to worry about losing the USB charging cord cause it’s built right into the case snaps back into the bottom of the case flat. Calls are clear and loud. You can control the volume, play/pause back and skip, answer and hang up calls even reject calls all by typing the bud it takes a little time to get use to and figure out taps also works with voice prompts. You can also control the equalizer. Over all pretty happy with Jlab goair sport

JLab's Go Air Sport True Wireless Earbuds provide an exceptional combination of value, comfort, and sound quality in a saturated market. Its Graphite variant adds a sleek and subtle aesthetic touch that appeals to users who value both form and function in their audio devices.
Firstly, one cannot ignore the value these earbuds offer. At their price point, the Go Air Sport earbuds perform incredibly well, delivering clear and well-balanced sound quality. While they might not compete directly with high-end models, they deliver a satisfying audio experience for casual listeners, fitness enthusiasts, and even audio book aficionados.
A key advantage of the Go Air Sport is their design and comfort. They're lightweight, compact, and ergonomically designed to stay secure during sports or strenuous workouts. The included ear tips of various sizes ensure a comfortable and snug fit for different ear shapes and sizes.
The battery life is another notable aspect. The Go Air Sport earbuds offer a lengthy playtime, ensuring the music keeps going during extended workouts or commutes. The charging case is compact and charges via an integrated USB cable, eliminating the need for an extra cord, a smart touch that adds to convenience.
Connectivity-wise, these earbuds use Bluetooth 5.0, providing a stable and reliable connection with a good range. They also offer touch controls for easy operation, and the dual connect feature allows you to use either earbud independently, adding versatility.
On the downside, the sound isolation is decent but not exceptional, so they may not be the best choice for noise-heavy environments. The bass could also be a bit stronger, especially for those who favor bass-heavy music genres.
Finally, while the integrated USB charging is a neat idea, it might be inconvenient if you prefer using a charging adapter, as it requires a USB port to charge.
Overall, the JLab Go Air Sport True Wireless Earbuds are a commendable option for those seeking affordable, comfortable, and reliable earbuds. They are perfect for casual listeners, fitness enthusiasts, or those who need a durable pair of earbuds for everyday use. Despite a few minor shortcomings, these earbuds provide a strong performance that more than justifies their cost.

The JLab Go Air Sport is a lightweight Bluetooth headphone for the person with an active lifestyle. These are stylish, comfortable, sound good and priced right for your pocket. These Bluetooth headphones fit nice on my ears, and the adjustable cushions help tailor the fit to your ears. I found the standard tips worked fine for me, and I did not have to switch to the other sizes (provided small and large, the medium is on the headphone).
Pairing the headphones was simple as taking both headsets out of the case. The headphones will flash blue and white to indicate that it's ready for pairing, and then just find it on your phone or tablet Bluetooth menu. It pairs quick and easy. There are no buttons on the headset, but tapping the logo provides volume control on each headset. One needs to remember the sequence of taps and on which side does what, but once you memorise it, it comes naturally. I will admit it took me a few hours to get used to the tapping, as there is no feedback beep to note when you hit the button. There is a delay on pausing/invoking Siri / google assistant; even then, I wish there was a tiny confirmation beep.
The battery life is not that bad for wireless headphones. Sure the box says 32 hours but reality is that the unit runs about 8 hours (I got 7.25) of a full charge, with 24 hours of playtime available in the case for recharge capacity. The headphones take about 2.5 hours to charge when empty fully, and the case that has an included charge cable takes 2 hours to fully charge.
Sound quality is not bad at all. I think it is a tad bright, but the equaliser modes available (3 taps on the right headset) help you adjust to your liking. I found the bass boost mode better for the music I listen to. The built in microphone quality is not bad, with a slight tunnel effect but speaking up louder makes the muddy speech much clearer.
The headphones are IP55 sweat and waterproof, but do not put them back into the case wet, or you may short your headphones. That said, it is quite comfortable while working out. I have an older JLab headsets (EPIC ANC and EPIC Sport), and they both get uncomfortable after a bit of a sweaty workout. The older units both feature the JLab logo on the rubber tips, and I always felt those caused more irritation to the ear canal. I am glad to see there is no embossing of the JLab logo on these tips, and overall the headphones did not feel that uncomfortable. In fact, I preferred these new GO Air Sports over my well-used JLab headsets.
One neat feature I found reading the manual and had to test it out, you can technically use your left or right earbud independently for music or phone. allow you to use it as independent units, which doubles your headphones as headsets.
Overall, they are great headsets for the price. These will get heavy use and should last as long as the older ones that I have. I love the colour; very eye-catching, and less likely to lose it in a bag.

THE BREAKDOWN:
The JLab Go Air Sport is built to be light weight and for people with active lifestyles. They are stylish with the pop of color which gives it some life rather than the standard black and white. The are pretty comfortable and come with small, medium and large ear cushions.
To get started you need to remove the plastic over the charging dots on the earpieces themselves. This particular case has the USB stowed in the back of the case, so you can just plug it in to your computer or charging block. After charging they were easy to connect. You can also just use one earbud if you wanted to. When I run, I actually like to only have one in so I can hear my surroundings. The one negative thing is that due to the nature of the over-the-ear design it makes my sunglasses sit higher on my head.
The battery life stated that you get 8+ hours out of each earbud and another 24+ hours out of the charging case. I found that I was consistently getting 7.5 hours out of the earbuds.
These earbuds are IP55 sweat resistant, and I found no issues with that. I even ran in the rain a few times with no issues resulting.
I found the earbud sound to be very good. The sound was well balanced. You even have 8 custom EQ sound settings to choose from. Making calls the mic worked great and was very clear. The touch ear controls worked as expected.
PRO’s:
- Wireless/Bluetooth (no wires) works great
- Built in microphone
- IP55 Sweat Resistant
- Good battery life
CON’s:
- Makes my sunglasses higher
SUMMARY:
Overall, this product worked as intended, and I would recommend this to a friend if they were in the market for item like this.

Sound is actually very good on a couole of preset eq profiles. Fit and feel fantastic. Battery life is astonishing and they are so low cost. Only diwnsides: occassionally connection can be finicky, range isnt amazing but 50ft might be plenty for most, and I did have one side die on me after maybe two months. That said they are worth keeping several pairs around and in my gym bag. I use these for 1-2hrs in the gym everyday and feel like they are the best fitness choice out there - not bringing my $250 airpod pros to the gym plus these are more comfortable and never budge.

The JLab Go Air Sport earbuds in yellow are a solid choice for anyone looking for affordable, workout-ready earbuds. Here's my personal take:
What I like:
* Secure fit: The ear hooks really do their job. These earbuds stay in place even during intense workouts, which is my biggest concern with wireless earbuds.
* Decent sound: For the price, the sound quality is surprisingly good. There's enough bass to keep me motivated during runs, but it's not overwhelming.
* Long battery life: I'm not constantly worried about them dying mid-workout. The case provides plenty of extra juice too.
* Easy to use: Pairing was a breeze, and the touch controls are intuitive.
* Price: Let's be real, these are budget-friendly. You get a lot of bang for your buck.
Things to consider:
* Comfort: While they're secure, they can feel a bit bulky after a while, especially if you have smaller ears.
* Call quality: Not the best for phone calls, especially in noisy environments.
* Sound isolation: They block out some noise, but not everything. If you need total immersion, these might not be the best choice.
Overall:
If you're looking for a pair of affordable earbuds that can handle your workouts, the JLab Go Air Sport are definitely worth considering. They're not perfect, but they get the job done and won't break the bank.

I own a wide range of earbuds, bluetooth, true wireless, wired and otherwise. These guys aren't the best, but they aren't the worst either. They're good... Just good... Also do be careful when picking these out. The website doesn't clearly mark this, but these specific ones are the "Go Air Sport+" which is an updated version that has slightly more battery life and a usb C connection instead of a usb A connection. Just double check the package to make sure you have the +.
Packaging is to be expected, cheap and recyclable. The case is rather big due to the hooks used to secure them. Technically it can fit in the palm of your hand, but so can a rock... Which isn't saying much. And as to be expected it does indeed feel like cheap plastic, but good enough. If you wear cargo or tactical pants you can find a pocket for them, otherwise you will need to put these in a backpack.
Sound quality is okay enough. You can hear the music or podcast you need to hear and honestly, that's all you really need. You can sync these to the JLab app just in case you need to tune the sound profile, but the JLab signature works fine for me and I would assume most people. They last a good while and can last longer with the charging case, but just keep in mind of the unusual way they charge since you'll need a usb c port for the cable on the case to plug into. If you have a handy wall wart or usb c charging bank that will do.
Long story short? At $30 normally these are a great steal. I wouldn't say these are throwaway buds you could easily take to the gym or on runs because they actually sound good, but you won't be too upset if they break or get dropped. Not to mention that you can catch these on sale and pay even less.

A good all around product. A great price and performance makes it a win, win. Durable and dependable. Great battery life. Good sound, but lacking on the bass, i must admit. A small sacrifice for the affordable price tag.
