JLABs Gopods ANC true wireless earbuds are a reasonably priced, fully functional pair of earbuds. They are waterproof, making them perfect for workouts, runners, and everyday use. They have an excellent noise-canceling mic, so when you're commuting or in a place where you can't hear, this helps. They use a hybrid ANC noise canceling that is an active noise canceling. More sound and setup options are available using the JLABS app, including touch control setup and EQ settings. And with Bluetooth multi-point, they connect quickly to Google and virtually any other Bluetooth device. The charging cable is pre-installed as a USB-C, which is now the standard, so if you lose it, as I did, this will help a lot. There are also different-sized ear cushions included. It helps achieve a comfortable fit. It boasts a 26-hour use time. And these fit that you're pretty good. The earbuds also have outstanding sound quality, so if you need some everyday earbuds, these are the ones you might want to check out.

These are a great set of earbuds and for their price, you probably won't find a better set out there. The out of box experience was simple, they paired quickly with my Android phone. They were comfortable to wear for most of the day with no issues of them falling out at any time. It comes with 3 different sizes of tips so you can find the best size for your ears. The ANC, active noise cancelling, worked well in everyday use, you can also turn off the ANC, and there is also a Be Aware option to allow more ambient sound to come through. This is great when out in public and need to be aware of your surroundings. The app allows you to fine tune them to your preferences. The sound quality while listening to music and pod casts was great. The case is small and charges the pods when not in use like other brands. The case is a little different than the others as it has a built in USB C cable that is a couple of inches long. It is not typical of the other cases, but it does allow you to plug it directly into a laptop or a charger and not have to find a cable. As always, JLab delivers a great product for a great price.

Great affordable options for ANC earbuds

I don't think JLAB is one of the first brands people tend to think of when looking for earbuds, which can sometimes lead to them getting overlooked. This is, in my opinion, a shame, as they do offer some endearingly rugged and capable products at a very affordable price point. The Go Pods ANC are no exception to that and I think could be a very good pick for your next daily drivers. First, let's talk about what I liked. The earbuds and their case make very good use of the volume they have to work with, producing a very compact package that's one of the smaller charging cases I've come across. It also features an integral charging cable, making it very convenient to carry around in your pocket or throw in your bag without having to worry about bringing along any supporting parts. The earbuds themselves fit in your ear well and (provided you fit the right size ear cushions) didn't dislodge themselves while I was walking around or engaging in moderate exercise. The noise cancellation is also very capable. Due to some sinus issues I often find that high end noise cancellation can actually end up being uncomfortable after a while as it can create uncomfortable pressure zones inside my ear if they're blocking out everything, while cheaper noise cancellation options just don't do anything to reduce ambient noise. These strike a pretty decent middle ground - countering most of the annoying every day industrial noises produced by air conditioners or car engines without exposing you to too much pressure. I don't know that they'd be my first pick for something like flying, where I think the sheer volume of the sound might overwhelm the earbuds, but to be fair there aren't many earbuds I've found that can compete with over the ear options in that arena either. And battery is also excellent. The package states it can manage over twenty six hours between charges and while I can't say for sure how long mine lasted, they have currently managed to go almost a week on a single charge. There are a few drawbacks I should point out, though. The sound is a bit weak in the lower ranges, particularly with the noise cancellation active. I mostly use earbuds to listen to audiobooks, podcasts, and other spoken word content so this wasn't really a problem for me but I imagine that a lot of people who listen to more music than me might be a bit disappointed. I also wasn't too impressed by the passthrough option. While it does the job of keeping you aware of what's going on around you the audio you get from it has a synthetic quality that's pretty hard to ignore, and it is usually present regardless of what ambient audio levels are like. As such I found myself generally just pulling out one of the earbuds to leave one ear free rather than messing with it. Even with those warts though, I am very hard pressed to think of another option that can give you the same price to performance ratio these do. And unlike some of the more expensive out there, if you do happen to shake one out on a trail or in the gym and lose it, replacing it is no big deal. This makes it a very easy recommendation for me for anyone who just needs something that'll work and maybe doesn't have the greatest track record when it comes to keeping full sets of earbuds.

I've been using these earbuds for a couple weeks and am overall very impressed with them. Then I remember the price and am amazed at how good they are. I have a couple premium earbuds from major brands that are a few years old. I believe one of them cost 10x what these ones did when new. These earbuds sound amazingly close to those premium earbuds. These earbuds connect easily and when you turn them on they clearly and at a reasonable volume tell you their connected and the charge level. Most of my earbuds info voice is so quite they're difficult to hear. The sound it nice and crisp. They do not have as much base as the more premium models but again for the price I would never demand that. These have great overall sound especially for the price. The app is very clear and easy to adjust any settings on the earbuds. It's honestly one of the best audio apps I've used for earbuds/headphones. The battery life is great. I honestly haven't run them down yet and I normally have them in for most of a workday with a little charging at lunch. The noise cancelling is great. It knocks out most of the noise and honestly makes it very difficult to hear anyone talking. None of my other earbuds are that effective. My only complaint with it is when I use them in noise cancelling around my power tools if the sound overwhelms the earbuds they crackle pretty loudly. My other earbuds must filter that out because they aren't as quiet overall but they don't have any loud moments. The case is nicely designed and holds the earbuds securely. It's very small and convenient and the lid shuts very securely. My one thing I haven't decided if I like or don't like is that the case charges with a built in USBc cable. This means you have to plug it into a charger or laptop to charge. All my other cases just have a USBc port so I can just charge them with my phone charger. It's not the end of the world but surprisingly it's not as convenient to have the cable built in. Overall this is a very good set of earbuds. I would recommend them even overlooking the noise cancelling crackle and I hope they can fix that with an update. Add in the price of these and I would say it's a no brainer. They are an amazing value for the price.

I have far, far too many true wireless earbuds — from flagship ones to surprise bargain bin shots — so I have a general sense of the state of the field. The JLab Go-Pods ANC True Wireless Earbuds are what I’d consider a solid middle-of-the-road choice. They’re not best-in-class, in my opinion — if you’re accustomed to the soundstage and tuning of something like the Sony WF series or Sennheiser Momentum, you’ll notice immediately they’re a tier or two down from there. But for the price, they actually hit above their weight. Its active noise cancellation is impressively effective at cutting noise in everyday situations, like commuting or working in a cafe, but it falters a little in noisier environments. The transparency mode is okay, but doesn't feel super natural — it serves its purpose but nothing to write home about. The battery life is impressive at a stated 26+ hours but your mileage may vary, and I like the wireless charging and the IP55 water resistance, which makes them gym and rain friendly. The fit is comfortable and secure and the touch controls work well once you learn how to use them. Soundwise, they’re tuned for the mass market — boosted bass and crisp highs, but a tad muddy in the mids. The point: they’re not audiophile quality, but they have a lot of features for the money and are phenomenal as a backup or travel set.

I tried these earbuds for a few weeks. They're comfortable and light. I wore them for hours without my ears hurting. The noise canceling works pretty decent. It blocks out fan noises and people talking nearby, but not everything. The sound is of great quality. The bass is strong but not too much. Highs are clear. I like how guitars and cymbals sound. The app lets you change the sound if you want. Calls are fine indoors but not great outside. People said they heard wind and traffic when I talked. There's a small hiss when noise canceling is on in quiet rooms. touch controls work but I sometimes paused music by accident. The battery lasts long enough for my workday. the case is small and easy to carry. i use these most days now. they're good for music and blocking noise at work. not perfect, but they do the job well. if you want simple earbuds that work, these are worth trying. final thoughts: comfortable, good sound, decent noise cancelling. calls could be better. works for daily use.

I was looking for a good pair of active noise cancelling earbuds on a budget, and I came across these JLAB Go Pods ANC. I use them with a Samsung Galaxy Fold 6, and overall, I am very satisfied with these given the excellent price. I have used several other active noise cancelling earbuds and headphones, and I have used other JLAB products, so my expectations were fairly high. My first impression when unboxing these JLAB earbuds was a positive one. The case is small enough and shaped smoothly so it easily fits in any pocket. It does feel a bit flimsier than Apple or Bose earbud cases, but it’s nothing that would keep me from buying them. As is typical of this style case, it has a flip-open top and a button that is used for resetting and them. Pairing is easy, though they only support one device. The case holds the earbuds in place magnetically, so they won’t go tumbling out if the case is opened inadvertently. Instead of a USB-C port on the case, it has a built-in cord with a USB-C plug on it. It’s only about two inches long, but folds neatly into the case. I still haven’t decided if I like this or not. It means that the case has to be within two inches of the charging port, which can be a bit annoying. I travel with a multi-headed USB cord, so this won’t work – I’ll need to carry another charger with a USB-C port (which is NOT included with the JLAB Go Pods), or a C-to-C plug adapter. On a positive note, I can also plug this into my phone or laptop to charge with no need to carry an extra cable. The case does not support wireless charging (which is no surprise at this price point). The JLAB Go Pods come with three sets of earpieces in various sizes so most people will find a good fit. Unlike some earbuds, these are dependent on an air-tight fit for the ANC to work. The controls are very simple with a single touch-sensitive button on each bud. Learning what the various taps do is simple and quickly becomes intuitive. Inserting the buds will give you a voice announcement of battery level and pairing status. Speaking of the battery level, these claim over 7 hours of capacity, and my informal testing proves that. The case holds enough power to recharge the buds about 3 times. The sound quality of these is acceptable, but best with ANC on. There are three modes: ANC on, ANC off, and “Be Aware”. With ANC off, the sound quality is a bit “tinny” and lacks any real bass. Ambient sounds come through easily, even with the buds tightly sealed in my ears. With ANC on, most all “noisy” ambient sounds are well muted. Sounds from things like fans, engines, wind, etc. are well controlled. Other sharper or “clicking” sounds are no so well masked. For example, keyboard typing sounds come through clearly. Background audio like from a radio or TV is reasonably well muted. With the “Be Aware” mode activated, it uses the built-in mics to let some sounds come through, which results in a continual but faint white noise sound. Speaking of the microphones, they are a weak point. Using the JLAP Go Pods for phone calls will annoy the person on the other end as it sounds very much like you are on a speakerphone or in a well. As for music, these work well in ANC mode offering plenty of bass, though if you are used to more expensive buds or over-the-ear headphones, you’ll be slightly disappoionted. The JLAB app for Android is easy to use and includes an EQ to help tailor the sound. I assume the iPhone app would work similarly well. Overall, these are a good set of entry-level, value-priced earbuds with ANC. They are easy to setup and use, and the sound quality is good enough for most people. I do recommend them because to get anything better, you’ll have to spend at least three times as much.

So this is a first for me. Not a lot of good things to say about these. They sound ok with a bit of tweaking with the EQ settings. I'll start with the good things I like about them. They are lightweight, look good and have a nice run time from my use of them (I got about 8 hours with the volume around 60 percent). Easy to pocket these in the case. I like that they incorporated the cable into the case and it is very short. About two inches long and it has a USB-C end on it so it should be compatible with most chargers and easy to top off from many current laptops and desktops. The noise cancelling aspect of these works pretty good once you find the right setting in the app. Make sure you configure them in the app on a phone or tablet before you try and use these with anything else. Yes, it has multipoint connection but it is a pain in the rear to setup properly which leads to my negatives. The sound quality is so-so to my ears. When I called someone with them on they were not thrilled with the quality of the call on either my phone or laptop during a video call. My main gripe is the way it makes you connect to your devices with their app. Was not fun. Connect your phone or tablet (whichever has the app installed) first and follow the instructions to do the multipoint connection to anything other than a cellphone or tablet. The fit in my ears is okay. I have small ears so I tend to not like most earbuds anyway. Even with the optional tips. Not a bad set of headphones but in my opinion they could be better. Maybe a firmware update will help with the connection issue.

This is a low-cost, but full function set of earbuds. The package includes the charging case, the earbuds and 3 sizes of rubber inserts fo match your ears plus the Quick Start Guide. I did find the correct insert for me and these earbuds fit very comfortably and gave me no ear pain at all - great. They curled right into my ears and seated well for jogging or cycling - nice. Charging was simple using the charging case, however the case has a little one inch pigtail with the male USB C plug instead of a female port. This is a bad design. Usually you already have cables of various lengths to reach your car plug or a bedside cable etc. Now you need an adapter to plug your longer cable in from the charging port to the JLAB charging case. The correct design is a female charging port on the case, JLAB needs to fix this. Functionality is very comprehensive including cell phone functions, music play functions and volume controls. The buds connect and reconnect easily to phone or laptop. Also the buds have very nice voice prompts when you put them on for Bluetooth-connected and the charge level. The app is very helpful to add customized equalization or canned equalization setups, to select movie or music mode and has a chart of the layout to remind you of the 'button functions'. I did find the use of the buttons on the buds to be cumbersome. It may just take some getting used-to, but the buds didn't seem to register each touch smoothly. I would try to up the volume a couple notches and nothing happens or else the buds thought I did two taps to Play/Pause. This may be me or else the designand sensitivity of the bud button is not quite right. The sound was average at best even when improved using the equalizer in the app. The noise cancellation was also just okay. However, overall based on price/performance I would recommend these buds for those who need a lower-cost pair of buds with a great charge-time and full functionality in terms of cell phone or music use.

I was surprised at how comfortable these feel on my ears, even after wearing for hours, I could almost forget that I was wearing them. I like the JLab ear pod brand, I’ve had a couple of different ones and they seem to work great. I was so disappointed when I lost one while traveling and excited to try these ones. I like that I was able to pair it quickly and easily with my phone and my tablet. It goes back and forth between them with no issues. The size is great for keeping in pocket or small pocketbook. Battery life so far has been holding up well. It says 26+ hours of playtime, the longest I’ve gone with using it without needing to plug in the case to charge was 24 hours which is great, especially for those times that I travel. I mostly listen to music, podcast and watch videos and of course, talk on the phone. The sound is clear, while talking on phone or listening. The app has many options for customizing and both ear pods can be controlled separately. It also offers a cool workout feature. I also like the way you can tap and control different options right on the pods. I’ve been using the 2 taps alot for Ok Google and the press and hold for noise control. Noise cancellation works very well! Even while walking in the niosy city with people talking, musician playing, etc, I could keep my phone conversation going. These offer 3 ANC modes, one includes Be Aware, which is pretty interesting. With this, I could clearly hear what’s going on around me. Kind of like the noise sounds amplified, I don’t think I would this mode very often unless I was walking in the woods or somewhere with not many people around me so I could be more aware of what’s happening around me. All in all, I would recommend this. It looks good, works great, and the price is right. The only thing I don’t love, is that I wish the cable for charging was just little longer.

The JLab Go Pods ANC earbuds are my go-to favorites. The earbuds are comfortable to wear for an extended time. They also stay in my ears, so I have never been concerned about losing them. I mostly use them for listening to podcasts while walking, and I can clearly hear voices and tonal ranges in programs even in moderately windy conditions. The app was easy to install and use on my phone. From time to time, I have had problems getting the earbuds to automatically sync with Bluetooth, but I have always gotten it to work eventually. The charger/case works well, and the compact, built-in charging cable snaps into the case and is easy to use. Although they may reduce background noise a little, I cannot attest to the noise- canceling abilities of these earbuds. I have not noticed much difference in ambient noise reduction when experimenting with various sound settings in the phone app. From my experience, the ANC seems to work a little better in environments with low ambient noise, such as a household or office setting. Otherwise, the JLab Go Pods ANC earbuds offer very good sound quality for the price.

There are good and bad qualities of the JLab Go Pod earbuds. The good thing is the attached USB-C charging cable, which allows you to charge them with your USB-C charger transformer. These earbuds utilize the Google Fast Pair protocol, enabling them to connect quickly to your device. The earbuds automatically discover your device. They have excellent sound quality and can be customized using the JLab app. The downside to these earbuds is that they have these handles that hang out of your ears, which makes getting a good fit a problem. Another issue is that charging is via two small contacts at the end of these handles, which connect to the bottom of the case. My experience is that the case does not hold the earbuds snugly enough to maintain contact if the case is not stood upright. I find that if I have the case in my pocket or gym bag, the earbuds lose charge because they come loose. I did a range test and found that I could not wander far from my cellphone without losing reception. Being dependent on the short, attached charging cable is inconvenient; I would have liked the ability to use my own USB-C cable or charge wirelessly.

Not a stranger to jlabs stuff so using these was a given for me. These provide an insane value proposition in what you get for the money more so than most in this type of product range. The fact that you get active noise cancellation for this type of money is so good it's almost not believable lol. Not only that but these have a "be aware" mode as well to maintain conversational awareness when needed which is very welcome. So the audio quality on these is great as expected. I'd prefer that they would have a higher max volume but they are respectable in not blowing your ear drums out while keeping a full sound unlike a lot out there. They fit well without any drama though it seems there is alternative ear pieces out there for these you could get if they don't fit quite right for you. Though I will say for long listening sessions the way they come stock do seem to create some fatigue. Thankfully my use is almost exclusively for workouts so it's a non issue for me but I will note with this that I've never had a pair of ear buds that aren't this way after some amount of time and for these being over a couple hours thats perfectly acceptable imo.

The hybrid ANC Go Pods by JLAB, which are true. Earbuds, are an excellent pair of budget earbuds, and they do some pretty big things. The biggest thing that I am most happy about, and something I don't understand why more companies don't do, is the integrated charging cable into the charging case. Having this means that you don't ever have to have an extra cable to take up space. I have a very small kit bag that carries everything I need, and the less cables and everything, the better. The sound from the headphones is excellent, and the equalizer options in the app can help tailor the experience to your sound preferences. These feature noise canceling, which works well but isn't a feature I ever utilize. But they also have aware listing, which allows you to hear things going on around you, in addition to your music or podcast, making these much safer to use, especially if jogging or biking. State that they have a 26-hour battery life, which is more than enough for me. I charged them up when I got them, and then about a week later. I still have not recharged them. I use them for working out and going to the driving right. I have lost so many earbuds over the years, these are such a great option both because they are affordable, and because they are versatile. Highly recommended.
