Crystal Clear Affordable Bluetooth Headset

Finally, an on-ear headset with a microphone, minimal and simple controls, that has been designed to deliver Clear Calls for use with a phone, computer, or sound system during work. The JLAB GO Work is a multipoint Bluetooth headset that provides over 45 hours of playing time. It is light, has easy adjustments that are all on one side, fits comfortably on the ears, and pairs instantly with iPhone, iPad, and the computer. The cushioned headband and cloud foam cushion earcups also rotate flat which also helps with easy transport. The Boom Microphone can rotate to either the left or right side. Its simple one touch mute is complemented by the red light at the end of the Boom that signifies the Mute is on, a very simple but considerate design element since sometimes it is hard to tell if one is on mute or not. The headset can connect with two (2) devices simultaneously, and it does so in a quick, efficient manner that demonstrates stability of the Bluetooth pairing.
I use the headset with all of the controls and the Boom microphone on the right side. Volume is easily increased or decreased with the top button, pushing forward, or pushing down. The lower button, with a single press, can pause and un-pause music and answer or hang up calls. Pressing and holding the same button for 1+ seconds will reject any incoming call. With a double press, the same button will summons Siri or OK Google and activate either of these functions. And the third control is a simple push button in the center of the earpiece. This button can either turn the headset on or off. Together these buttons give the user complete control and allows the option of choosing between two (2) preset EQ settings: Work or Music mode.
The headset can easily be charged by connecting the enclosed C Type charging cable to either a computer or USB 5V 1A. It can even be charged while in the Bluetooth mode. The JLAB Go Work also comes with an AUX input and an AUX cable so that it can be used as a wired headset when conserving the battery life is important, or Bluetooth is not an available option.
The sound of calls and music is very clear and rallies some of the more expensive headsets that I have owned that had more complicated functions. If you are looking for a simple, quality headset that will deliver clear vocal telephone calls and music as well, you should look at this. It works great for Zoom Office meetings and for the price point you cannot go wrong.

I purchased this headset for my job as a call center agent. They are great quality and work great. They work with bluetooth as well as with an auxiliary cord but the cord is way to short and doesn't give you any room to even stand up from the computer. Also, one of the ends of the auxiliary cord is specific just to this item, meaning there is not two male ends, only one and I believe a "c" plug so you are unable to use a longer auxiliary cord or any other auxiliary cord for that matter. I only kept them because the store had no other options. Price was kinda high too.

JLab GO Wireless Office Headset
Quick Overview
=================================
Even with RTO kicking in at many employers, there's still a healthy market for people that need a quality headset for virtual meetings (from home, office, or a coffee shop). There are many choices depending on your budgets, and this JLab offering is priced aggressively for what it does. It even has a feature that's lacking from some more expensive wireless headsets.
Overall build
=================================
Yes, it's mostly plastic with a metal band inside the top of the headset, but it does feel like pretty good quality. It's not glossy so you don't have to worry about oily fingerprints, and being plastic makes it light enough to wear comfortably for hours.
In the box, you'll get two nice cables: a USB-A to USB-C charging cable and a USB-C to 3.5mm TRRS/headset cable for plugging into a wired device (many laptops have a "combo" headset jack that provides headphone audio and mic in one plug).
The earpads have an interesting mesh pattern that allows the blue color to "pop" through (matches the nice cables) and I thought it was a nice touch. More color choices would be even nicer! The side with the mic (you can swivel it to use on either side of your head) has a power/pairing button and volume up/down which can also be used for other functions if you hold the buttons down. It's laid out well in the manual.
You can also push in the JLab logo on the base of the mic which causes the mic to mute and the tip lights up red so you can confirm! This is nice, just watch out for the dreaded "double mute"!
According to the BT settings of my phone, the headset battery was at 90% on arrival so I was ready to test!
Performance
=================================
Pairing these was very easy and I was pleased to see they also support multipoint! That means you can pair two devices and switch between them easily. Some higher-end offerings lack this and it's extremely convenient for using a headset that's connected to your computer and your phone. When a call comes in, you're ready - regardless of the device you need to answer on!
First, I paired this with my work laptop (a MacBook Pro M1) easily via Bluetooth, then I turned off Bluetooth and paired it with my work phone (Pixel 6a). After that, I was good to go on either device!
I had plenty of time to test this since I mostly work remotely and I'm on Zoom and Teams often throughout the day.
Whether it was Teams or Zoom, there was no problem using the headset and outside of people asking about the headset and the red light up "mute indicator", it worked great. If I add up all the meeting time, I'm on somewhere between 6-12 hours of virtual meetings every week, with some rare weeks with even more meeting time. This last week was a 12 hour video call week and the JLabs had no issue. I still charged it at the end of the week, but there's no "charge anxiety" here. You should be able to get through a normal work week with no problem unless you happen to be working longer hours or listening to music in addition to meetings.
Sound-wise, they sound pretty good! Bluetooth is more convenient than it is high-quality, but for speech in meetings, it's great. The mic was great with no complaints from my co-workers nor on my "self test" with the Zoom and Teams meeting tools. I have plenty of other headsets for music, but these are great for listing to your training videos, podcasts, etc. I think most people would consider them just fine for music as well!
I was thinking they'd be uncomfortable for my ear type (I have protuberant ears - they stick out), but they actually adjusted and sat right on the outside of them which angled the mic closer to my mouth. Perhaps that helped with the call/mic quality. Either way, I was surprised that they would be so comfortable. I typically stick with Jabra over-the-ear headphones for work or simply in-ear options from Plantronics or Jabra. I'm about 5'7" with a medium-sized head so I wasn't straining the headset in the least. I've seen some reviews of similar models that broke where the headband adjusters connect to the ear cups, so your mileage may vary.
Conclusion
=================================
I really was pleasantly surprised that this wireless work headset performed so well (battery life, mic quality, comfort) and had multipoint! I would highly recommend these for users that need a multipoint BT headset at a great price.

Lightweight, comfortable, durable, inexpensive wireless headset with long battery life. I had an expensive one (6 times more expensive) that I used to carry with me on my work trips that didn't last long and had to order a replacement for desk use only. Started taking JLABS on my work trips and was great so far for attending meetings on my ipad/computer. Sound quality is good and have few mention that they could hear the background noise when I was out attending meetings at public places (airport, hotel lobby). I summarized my experience with this headset after a week of use.
• Design and Usability (4/5): Lightweight, durable and long battery life that are perfect for travel and all week office use. I used it to attend 6 to 7 hours of meetings per day and still had about 25% battery life left at the end of the week. Took about 3 hours to fully charge via my PC, which would have been much faster if I used an external adapter. I would rate a little above average on comfort level to having it wear all day. The headband, with steel extensions that slide in and out, is a little tight on my head (have a big head) and guessing it will stretch overtime. It has nice spongy/plush headband and ear cups, so no complaints on that.
• Sound quality (3.5/5): No complaints at all when using in quite places/office desk, but people did mention they heard some background noise when I was at public places, but that didn't bother them much. The noise suppression is probably little better than the average ones that are out in the market (tried 4 others). It doesn't have the active noise cancellation feature that I current have on the one that I use at work, which also 5 times more expensive than JLabs Go Work, so might not be a fair comparison to begin with. I would rate it average on the sound quality for music, as this is designed with more focus on the audio quality for online meetings and phone calls rather than music.
• Connectivity (5/5): Uses Bluetooth 5 (the latest standard) and allows you to connect to 2 devices (multi-connectivity) simultaneously. I have it connected to my iPad and phone for travel. It automatically switches to phone when I receive calls and connects back to my iPad as soon as the call ends. The physical mute button on the ear cup is handy and lights up the indicator at the mic tip, so the audience can alert you if you speaking on mute ;-), happens all the time! It also allows for wired connection (came with the headset) if you don't want to connect via Bluetooth. Don't need a app as all the controls are on the headset. You can also connect to your Jlab audio burn-in tool to get some tips on the headset. It also supports Siri and Google voice prompts.
Overall, I rate this 5/5, best value for your money: It’s a perfect and an inexpensive headset and has most of the necessary features that you see on a headset that is five to six times more expensive that JLAB Go Work. This is a perfect headset to get the job done without breaking the bank!

I have used this headset only twice! Now the bracket holding the ear piece broke off! As I examine it more closely the pins that hold the ear muffs have busted through the cheap brackets holding the pins in place. Now I mist see if I can take it back to Beat Buy!

Great easy to use over the ears headphones.
Lightweight, soft, easy to adjust and comfortable. And it pumps out pretty good sound.
Setup was a snap. Bluetooth set up was quick. No need for special software. Uses USB C to charge. Yes.... Also comes with headphone jack to USB C adapter in case you want to use it in that way as well.
Phone calls are clear. Big mute button is easy to use. Boom goes up and down easy.
Battery life is AWESOME! I am on day 4 on 37+ HOURS and I am still at 80%..... Wow. I think these will last 2 weeks on a single charge. I am talking full use as phone and streaming music all work day.
I have other Jlab products some for my kids and some for me and they have all been good products. I am definitely a fan.
Good job Jlab.

These didn’t even last me 6 months. The plastic is very cheap. Dropped them on my hardwood floor and they instantly snapped. I tried to tape it together and deal with it until a couple months later the other side snapped. Would not recommend for full time work from home. Better to spend more money on quality than waste money on cheap ones.

I pushed the mic up out of my face and the mic broke off. I pay to be a "Best Buy Total Member" and I gave a one star due to the fact that they just told me it is not under warranty because "accidental" is not covered. I am not sure what part of "I pushed the mic up out of my face and the arm broke" is accidental. That is poor craftsmanship, not an accident. Total Member has been a great service up until you are telling me this is not covered.

Practical, affordable, comfortable headset

The JLab - GO Work wireless office headset is my new favorite for on-line meetings for several hours per day. It is lightweight, comfortable and the sound and microphone is surprisingly very clear, especially at this price point. It paired quickly with both my work laptop and my personal phone. Other than the power and volume buttons, my most favorite feature is the mic-mute button, you just push it in and it mutes the mic. Additionally, when the mic is muted, a red LED lights up the tip of the boom mic, so you have a very helpful visual indicator you are muted or not. The only thing I noticed this red indicator stays on, even when the headset is turned off - that could unnecessarily drain the battery more quickly. Speaking of battery life, it is advertised as 45 hours, and so far I believe it. I’ve used it all week for work meetings and some music in between and still have plenty of battery life left. Another useful feature is being able to use them with the included auxiliary USB-C to headphone jack cable, though the cables included are rather short. Overall, a practical, affordable headset, perfect for work and occasional play.
