Customers are impressed with the sound quality and battery life of the Gravity Bluetooth Sport Neckband Adapter with Earbuds. Many also appreciate the comfort and lightweight design, along with the reliable Bluetooth connection and water resistance. However, some users found the neckband design to be less than ideal and noted a lack of bass in the audio. The overall experience appears positive, though improvements could be made to the neckband and bass response.

Well let me explain my summary, the neckband is great, works great, is easy to use, and I would easily give it a 4.5 alone. The only negatives for the neckband are that the spool thingy to wrap your cord on is not the best and come undone with the included headphones. The input connector is not very well spaced and so if your headphones you want to use have a larger connector then you will need to get an adapter or risk cracking the neckband. Other than that the neckband is great and works great. The perfect idea and passes a full range of sound. The reason I took away one star was that the included headphones are not the greatest and could only be considered good at best. They have great highs and okay mid sounds. But there is essentially no lows or bass at all. I was able to use a great full sound headphones to test and verify that it does have a deep bass sound being played. I really like this brand so I would recommend the product but suggest using your own headphones to get the sound you want.

The JLab - Gravity Bluetooth Neckband Adapter with Earbuds is a new concept nicely done within the Bluetooth universe. I can use the earbuds included in the package or use any other brand earbuds and still hear great crystal clear sound. The neckband takes the place of an audio hub that picks up the transmission from your device and transfers the signal into whatever audio receiver you plug into the neckband. I was able to walk around my apartment with the signal remaining intact. Outside the same facts hold true, there is no disruption of sound. It is light weight and easy to use after reading the quick start guide. The volume is loud and all music sounds terrific. The microphone adds to the benefit of the device allowing phone calls while listening to music.

The J-Lab Gravity Bluetooth neckband Rocks, 10 hours of non-stop listening on a full charge. The the J-Lab neckband has a built-in microphone with crystal clear speech.
The neckband also comes with its own customizable earbuds. If you don’t love the earbuds included, then you can switch then out for your own! Though their earbuds are extremely comfortable with excellent sound.
You can switch between tracks, change the volume, and even answer and hang up calls with a touch of a button.
With Bluetooth, there are no messy wires that restrict your movement while playing sports, and another great feature of Bluetooth is that you can listen to music a long way away from your connected device.
What I would like to see is complete understandable instructions included in the box. That is where too many companies are dropping the ball.
J-Lab Gravity Bluetooth neckband is an excellent choice for music in the go.

I live and die by my LG Tone Pro neck band, so I really love the neckband design. I liked this product because it allowed me to use my own headphones or earbuds and wire them in to my phone directly if I needed to (we've all ran our BT battery dry, haven't we?) Particularly, I liked the idea of plugging in my Bose headphones and being able to listen to them without being tethered. This worked great with this neckband, so I was really pleased with that.
In terms of the BT and sound features of this neckband, I was really pleased. Pairing was easy and reliable with all of the devices I tried--an iPhone 6, Pixel XL, and Echo Dot. Sound quality is good for both calls and music and connection remained solid at a reasonable distance.
In terms of the physical design, I like the materials and the cable management at the back of the neckband. They managed to make things pretty unobtrusive and comfortable to wear. However, my big complaint with this product is that there is no rigidity in the neckband itself. It is not rigidly shaped in any way to really stay put on your neck... it relies on the weight of battery/connection units at the end tips to basically hold the unit in place, but the whole thing is actually very light--which is good... but also not good. Because this thing has fallen off so many times when barely being jostled, it just makes me want to go back to my LG's, which have a light wire in the neckband to keep it more stably in place. I would not wear these for work-outs.
Overall--great idea for turning your favorite wired headphones into wireless headphones... other devices do exist for this purpose, but I haven't seen any others in the neckband design, and it really is a convenient and comfortable approach. Any future iterations of this product really need to look at greater stability in staying in place!

In the box was the Gravity Neckband, came a micro usb charging cable, 3 ear tips, two cush fins ( for fitting to your ear) and the JBuds Pro headphones. You can use your own headphones or the JBuds Pro are perfectly capable head phones. Pairing was easy – power on and it goes into pairing mode and then connect to device. I paired it an Ipad and Google Pixel phone with no issues.
Controls – the controls are easy to use but not intuitive for all the functions. Read the instructions and then it is easy. One minor quibble, the control buttons are same color as the Gravity Neckband rubber so it is hard to see. I would have liked the buttons to be a light color ( or even better, glow in the dark ) but it is not too big a deal because you end up using touch anyway to get used to the buttons
Construction – The Gravity Neckband is well constructed, flexible and is listed as water resistant. You would really be hard pressed to accidentally damage the neckband,
Fit - comfortable and surprisingly very light. At first, it appears to be awkward but once you fit it properly, you will forget it is there.
Sound quality –as mentioned, the Gravity includes JBuds Pro. I have to say, they are superb. Frankly, I was surprised at how good they sounded. Clean, clear sound for the full range of highs, mids and lows .I put in a pair of inexpensive ear buds and there was a big difference so the quality of the JBuds Pro is clearly evident . Also , the buds really isolate sound whether for music or when I tested the voice clarity. For the few reviews that said the sound was not good, check the fit of the buds. At first I did not think the sound was good but it was because the buds were not fitting properly. After changing to a different size bud and getting used to the design, the sound was great.
Overall, I am impressed by what you get for $40. Remember, you are getting a bluetooth device plus a headset. The sound was much better than I expected , the fit was excellent and it did what it was supposed. I recommend this product, especially if you already have a high quality wired headset.

I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of these JLAB wireless earbuds considering they are only $39.99. Opening up the box, there was no scrimping when it came to the accessories. Just like any $100+ wireless earbuds, there are three different tips sizes and 2 cush fin sizes. The cush fins help to anchor the earbuds when you are wearing them, yet you can’t even tell they are there. They, as well as the gel cushion tips, are soft, flexible and very comfortable in the ear. My husband doesn’t like the over-the-ear headphones, preferring the old-fashioned earbuds. These wireless earbuds are a nice compromise of the traditional with the modern.
I followed the Quick Start Guide to insert the earbuds in the earbud jack, wrap the cord around the “cable management system” and adjust the length of the cord. I would recommend that you charge the earbuds before trying to use them. A micro USB cable comes in the box for charging. I haven’t used the headphones nonstop, but the product advertises that the earbuds run for 10 hours on a full charge and have a 30 ft. wireless range.
Putting the neckband adaptor around my neck, I was amazed how light and easy they were to wear. They sat in a good spot and didn’t fall off even with running around and some quick movements. I quickly forgot they were even there. They were as comfortable as a favorite necklace.
It was incredibly easy to pair the earbuds with my iPod. I like the audio acknowledgment when the unit is on and pairing. As with many wireless headphones, besides for the power button there are controls for volume (up and down), play/pause, as well as moving to the next song or moving back one (click and hold). You can take calls with the mic and the play/pause button also works as the answer/hang up button. I thought the sound was quite good.
There are only two aspects that I don’t much like about this product. The first is distinguishing between the three control buttons. I consistently have to run my fingers over the bumps to figure out the three different icons. They are close together and they practically run into one another, so it is hard to know which one is which. The second thing that doesn’t thrill me is the cable management system. Looping around the extra cable means it doesn’t wrap around perfectly, so there are always extra parts of the cable popping out. I had seen a different set of earbuds where the cable retracts into the neckband adaptor itself. Of course, those are more expensive, so if it is a deal breaker, then expect to spend more money. Otherwise, this is a great buy for under $40.

As noted by a nearby label, I am part of Best Buy's Technical Insider Network and was given a set of headphones to use in exchange for an honest review.
Off the top, the headset is quite utilitarian-looking, but that's because it's an over-the-neck headset capable of using either its own set of earphones or a wired set you might already have that has a 3.5mm headphone jack terminator -- as in, for those that were displaced from, say, Apple's recent ditching of its own headphone jack :)
Out of the box and after charging, the over-the-neck portion was simple to set up. Using my iPhone 7 Plus, it was a breeze to enable Bluetooth, press-and-hold the "Play" triangle on one of the band's sides, wait ten seconds, a voice says Bluetooth is on, the phone picks up the device, and you're ready to go. There's also a headset icon next to the Bluetooth "B" icon on the phone, so you're instantly aware that you're connected and how much battery is left in the headset.
As for sound quality, the stock earphone audio is just a tad less in quality than Apple's own stock set, so that should give you a relative idea. They're certainly not terrible, they simply don't have the same range as Apple's own (or perhaps your own, just make sure they're black :) ).
Call quality was great. The recipient couldn't tell that I was using the over-the-neck set. There is a microphone through the over-the-neck portion, and pressing the "Play" triangle conveniently hangs up the call.
Overall, this is a decent unit if you're looking for something very utilitarian with the flexibility to be able to use your own wired headphones.

Mediocre Bluetooth Headphones, Stick with Wired

Long story short, I'm simply underwhelmed by these headphones.
So, this is pretty much a bluetooth adapter with stereo audio output and built-in microphone. The adapter being part of a neckband which ostensibly should help keep things comfortably in place. The bundled earbuds are designed to insert into the ear with plastic pads to help hold them in place. Presumably to give you some noise isolation and hold them in place. Unfortunately, this device fails in almost every way.
1. The neckband doesn't really stay in place on it's own. It can be tucked under a collar or inside a shirt, but if worn as a neckband, it will eventually flop down with minor movement. This belays the included earphones which will stay in place in most ears due to their design.
2. The stereo audio output isn't that great and with the included earphones, things are even worse. The sound output is mediocre, which isn't that great for something that apparently can't be really used for even light activity.
3. The good news is that JLAB seems to make earphones that fit ears well. I may consider them the next time I'm looking for a set to use while jogging.
In short, if you're looking for bluetooth headphones with good battery life, spend a bit more to get similar or better life with much better sound that actually does the job of hanging around your neck. The best usages for these would be to listen to music while sitting still at a desk but given that there are much better and less expensive wired earphones, I'm not sure what benefit one gets other than having a not so great bluetooth receiver to pair with your favorite set of wired earphones.

Finally, a Bluetooth neckband that you can use your favorite pair of buds or headphones with! Yes, it does come with some headphones which I found the fit and sound to be alright. Just to test out compatibility with something other than earbuds and to compare audio quality between headphones I plugged in my beats executive headphones and was very impressed that it worked with them just fine - granted the cord is too heavy to wrap up but it worked just fine and turned them wireless! Do note that if your headphones have a thick or angled part on the 3.5mm plug that it might have trouble working with these as they might not fit in the hole where you plug them in to the neck band. Good part with these are that if you prefer your own or an even nicer set of buds that aren't Bluetooth you can use them with these.
The voice prompts for the battery level are awesome. It's easy to fit the headphones to the neck band and hide the extra wire as long as it's not a heavy thick wire found on standard headphones. The comfort is great as well. The controls work great with my Samsung S7 Edge and no issue with using the controls to change volume, tracks, etc. All in all very impressed and would recommend!

These ear buds were pretty easy to set up. I did not like the long cord that I had to wrap around the cable management system. The sound was pretty clear. When I made a call, I had to select the headset, instead of it doing so automatically. Not a big deal, but I felt they should comment connect without my help. Very comfortable in the ears, and easy to adjust sound. Overall, good product.

None of my Bluetooth earbuds have lasted so I have been using inexpensive wired earbuds. This is a great solution for me to separate the two functions. Out of the box it was easy to get going with the include earbuds and paring was a snap. The sound from the included earbuds is more than adequate for going out for a hike with my dog. Range is great as I left my phone on the kitchen table while I was doing chores and didn't have any dropout over an inside range of about 40'. The controls are easy to feel and use. I really like using them to answer my phone and use as a hands free device. The easy to feel buttons make answering easy and my friends report that the mic is good and they can hear me very clearly. For the price you cant beat this especially if you are looking for new earbuds anyway.

Jlab Gravity
So much to say..
This neckband is not a pair of bluetooth headphones but in essence, a Bluetooth receiver (you can plug in any AUX to make your speakers or your car audio bluetooth capable) that is designed for headphones. Great Idea.. medium excecution. It does come with headphones that are very compatible with the neckband a Black versian of the Jbuds Pro without the Mic. and a weird cushfin (smaller).
includes the neckband, Headphones, spare earpieces, micro usb charging cable and and NO INFO!! JUST A QUICKSTART. why was there no user manual included????
Body:
-I like the material its made out of kind of rubbery you can kind of fold it and put in your pocket or bag and feels nice on my neck although sometimes I look in the mirror and it is way lopsided, sdo I have to readjust.
-there is a bump in the back for cable management, where you can wrap your earbuds. I do not like the design it was not so easy to wrap them besides even though I spent a while trying to get them in nicely, there is no way to get both earbuds to stick out equilly. and if you wrap in a way where both split in the middle there will be a little bump in the back.
-When I tried to use an angled pair of earbuds (as in by the 3.5mm input it is angled) it stuck out and looked bad, so I tried to straigt one like bose soundsport.
-connecting a pair wuith a microphone is useless, because the bluetooth is what will be picking up the mic.
-I tried connecting my bose soundsport like shown in the video. Bad Idea the wire was too thick and did not fit into the cable clips, and was really bulky by the cable management area, due to the thicker cable and the big mic and the part of the headphones where the right and left split off, and llooked like it would ruin them as well so I udes a pair of skullcandies and the jbuds and both worked well... best to use a flat cable it fit much better.
-even with the cable clips and the piece for cable management it looks messy and there is not much I could do about it.
-the battery and charging port (micro USB) is on the left side and buttons on the right with the micriphone< LED indicater and 3.5 MM jack.
Buttons and indicaters:
-play/pause answer/end call button. hold doen for about 2-3 seconds you will get google now or Siri. 4 seconds you will turn off/on. if it is off and it is held down for 5-7 seconds it will go into pairing mode.
-volume up is lower and volume down is closer to neck. you can also skip or go back a track by holding down. One this I love is that you dont need to hold down for so long for tracks to change.
-when charging red light is on when done, the light turns off.
-when on Pairing mode is red and blue. when on and connected blue light blinks once (every few seconds), if not connected blinks twice (every few seconds),.
-upon turning on it will say hello and tell you if battery is full medium or low.
-If you are out of range it will let you know.
-when volume at highest it will let you know with two little boops and similar boops when calling if the person picks up and when the call ends. when you get a call it kind of lame it just boops a little.
Bluetooth:
- Bluetooth is 4.1 and range was great I tried it with my Galaxy s5 in my open hallway got 65Ft. Through one door 60 ft. 2 doors got 55ft.
- Bluetooth only connected to my S5 when I powered on. but if its already on it did not connect automatically and I had to do it manually.
Battery:
-Charges in about 3-4 hours (I use 2.4amp charger with HQ short cable)
-battery lasted me 13 hours and 43 minutes (more than their 10 hour claim) I had music on at volume 3/4 and took 4 phonecalls (1 hour).very impressive.
Other:
- gets pretty loud with my headphones
microphone is pretth good, almost as good as my bluetooth headset jabra stealth.
- sound quality not the best but good for the price.
- a bit of static when no audio coming therough but stops after about 5 seconds.
- If not being used it Idles for 5-10 minutes then powers down.
- I didn't See in the box but online it says IPX4 certified.. google = Protects from splashing water, no matter the direction. which means no showering with it :(
Jlab:
-US based Company = better customer service.
-I have a bunch of random pairs. the quality of the headphones are not great, however they are relatively cheap. I already 2 pairs break but I sent them in and they got me a new pair. I had to pay postage but better than nothing.
I also did a video on it but Have not posted it yet. I am a huge tech junky. please consider my offer. Attached is a picture of a few of the Jlab headphones that I own.

When I first looked at the Gravity Neckband, I was curious but not bowled over. However, after getting it charged and trying it out, I was pleasantly surprised. I paired it with my iPod, a quick and easy process and plugged in my iPod earbuds. Once you get the neckband on your shoulders and around your neck, it's so lightweight you almost forget it's there. What you gain here is a way to listen to your device without the long cord having to be attached to your player, thus avoiding entanglements. Next, I tried the earbuds that come with the device. Sound quality is not quite as good as with the Apple ones, but they are not shabby at all. Lastly, the distance you can get from your device is excellent. Leaving the iPod in my living room, I got great reception through my two story house. This is a clever device that does the job it was meant to do.

Story: Generally, I'm biased against Bluetooth headsets. Every time I've fallen for the line from some brand rep that they've "unlocked the secret to true wireless-fi", I've taken a listen, only to rip off the 'phones/buds and shout "just HOW much tin are your ears made of?" Thusly, I'm generally not in the mood to part with major-league bucks for something whose baseline quality on a good day I'd regard as pedestrian/just-acceptable...which, I'll be quick to add, is actually just *fine* under typical on-the-move listening conditions. I'm pretty critical (or snobbish, depending on which friends of mine you ask) about how I listen to music at home, but on the road, in largely uncontrollable circumstances, the best 'fi money can buy gets wasted in a wash of intrusive noise, where sometimes the priciest noise-cancelling cans fail epically, as the kids might put it.
So, I set my sights relatively low: if a BT headset can deliver reasonably decent tonal range, committing a minimum of sonic sins within said range, has a battery that can manage, say, a cross-continent flight, and does a reasonable job of isolation from extraneous racket, it'll rate well to me. In the instance of JLab's Gravity headset, they get most things right, with a nice little bonus: unlike a certain prominent tech company, they've decided that not only is the 3.5mm headphone jack still a neat and useful thing, they can also make a Bluetooth headset even more useful than usual. JLab even openly *invites* users of this headset to go out and try other non-wireless earbuds/IEMs besides theirs if the ones they packed in the box don't tickle their fancy. To my ears, the pack-in buds are surprisingly okay - I wouldn't toss them out reflexively, although they're hardly the best I've listened to.
Build quality seems to be up to snuff here: one reviewer chided the design for being physically "too flexible." Ironically, I regard this trait as a strength rather than a weakness: it allows one to stash the headset into fairly tight spaces without fear of snapping the headset in two (Beats, I'm looking at you), making the Gravity a true go-to for travel.
And, speaking of travel, here's another neat trick of sorts: say you're aboard an airliner, and you're dealing with an airline which, in spite of what the TSA, FAA and other three-letter agencies have to say about the matter, *might* take a dim view of using Bluetooth on-board at any time. Or, conversely, you aren't having to deal with something so onerous, but at some point during your flight, you find your headset running low on juice, and you find yourself with no easy means of charging it back up. No problem: you simply unplug your earbuds from the BT module, unravel the headset cable from the module's cord-keeper (which actually works well), and plug straight into your phone...that is, if you're lucky enough not to own a recent version of the otherwise well-regarded phone whose maker decided that removing the headphone jack was..."brave?" (If you do own one of those, just remember to keep the adapter handy.)
As others have remarked, phone-related functions get high marks: talk functions work without stress.
Conclusion: if you keep your expectations reasonably in check (and yes, I'm also addressing the few fellow hairshirt audiophiles out there), the JLab Gravity is actually a great headset for the price. Yes, you *can* buy better sound in a BT set, but I do recall this saying about the perfect being the enemy of the good - and, IMO, there ain't no BT system even approaching perfect.
Recommended.

This product is okay. The sound is good with the earbuds that came with it but I really don't like the way the ear buds dangle when I take them out of my ears. I was hoping for some sort of magnetic 'keeper'. I also don't like the way the earbud cord has to be wrapped around the cord minder. It took several tries before I got the whole thing to look neat and even then it wasn't quite what I was hoping for. The unit does pair easily with Bluetooth devices so that's nice.

This is a great Bluetooth accessory, especially if you already have some great wires headphones. The included ear buds work great for adults, but found them difficult for my 11 yr old to get in his ears (regardless of bud size attachments). Ultimately, it connected easily. Just note, the included instructions aren’t super clear on pairing mode. They make it seem that when you turn them on, they are in pair mode. You actually need to keep holding the play button until it’s blinking blue and red. When you power them on, they just blink blue and white. Once that’s done, you’ll see them pop up right away as “Jlab Gravity.” Overall, a pretty decent accessory, but the included ear buds aren’t the best audio quality around.

My son has been begging for wireless earphones. However, I am not willing to pay for them because I'm afraid he will lose the buds - hence my excitement when I found this neckband compatible with the wired ear buds he already has. My excitement was quickly dissipated - the design is a good idea, but it's not very functional. The area on the back of the neckband where you wrap the earphone cord is not well designed, leaving pieces of the cord loose and coming unraveled while being worn. My son had to keep wrapping the cord back up because it was tickling the back of his neck.
One really good thing is the battery life - the charge lasted almost 3 days with my son using the earphones about 6 hours a day. The neckband also charges fairly quickly, about 45 minutes-1 hour from dead to fully charged.
Overall, I was not impressed. If you're cheap like me and don't want to put out the money for quality wireless ear buds this is not a bad way to go.
