Customers are impressed with the sound quality and battery life of the Gravity Bluetooth Sport Neckband Adapter with Earbuds. Many also appreciate the comfort and lightweight design, along with the reliable Bluetooth connection and water resistance. However, some users found the neckband design to be less than ideal and noted a lack of bass in the audio. The overall experience appears positive, though improvements could be made to the neckband and bass response.

Fantastic Solution for Wired Headphones

This is one of the best solutions I've found for wired headphones that I love to use but would love to get rid of the pesky wire... The neckband is light and easy to use, and the fact that I can use the headphones I want on it makes it that much better! The headphones that come in the box work fine, but don't fit like the ones I'm used to. The neckband pretty much stays in place while walking, but can jump around a little while running. The battery life on this is much better than I expected as well.

It's not often that you get a gift from Best Buy not purchased by you that turns out to be pretty good but this one is. The audio is just as good if not better than my Beats the way it sits up is actually pretty easy and takes no effort whatsoever to maintain or Bluetooth setup. The system talks back to you and tell you if the battery is full or not and also that you're connected my Beats just makes this approval sound. Don't know how long they're going to last but I hope it's for a long time.

I really like the 3.5 jack

So first off, I really like the 3.5mm jack and the ability to use any earbuds you want as long as they have the male equivalent. Unboxing and winding up the cable is a no brainer and I was ready to pair it up with my Pixel. I followed the direction in the box, hold the button for 3 seconds, flashes blue and pair with your tablet, phone, etc. Nope, tried it a number of times. I thought maybe it just doesn't like my phone, so I tried my Acer 8" tablet, then a Samsung Tab 4 Nook. Nada. I emailed the company and they got back to me today with different instructions. Very simple to follow, but not what was in the box. No biggie, once I knew how to pair the Gravity with the Pixel, I was good. I'm pasting the direction, which are simple, but I don't want to get them wrong in case a reader has the same issue I did. Here's what I was told:
In order to get to pairing mode with your device, will first want to make sure your headset is powered off.
Once the device is powered off, you will then hold the power button and watch for the lights to come on.
Make sure you do not let go of the power button until you see two different color lights flashing back and forth. This can take up to 10 seconds.
Once you see the lights flashing, you will then be able to let go of the power button, and then locate the headset with your bluetooth device.
It works just as he states, a blue light, then a red or the other way around.
I fired up the audiobook I'm currently listening to and it sounded great. The earbud cables tuck nicely against the neckband with a clip mounted on the band. The default buds fit my ears nicely, so I didn't open the parts bag, but there are additional parts included and I assume they are different size buds. It comes with a short usb cable, but again, I didn't open it. I think most of us have a ton of these cables in our 110 adapter waiting to charge a device.

Great audio transmission! Easy to set up.

While I have seen that some people are having a hard time getting it to pair with their phone, I found it SUPER EASY! And my phone is 8 YEARS OLD! It saw it right away and connected on the first try. The audio was very good with the included earbuds, But when used with high end earbuds the audio WAS SUPERB! So if you already have a great set of earbuds or head phones then you are all set. And even if you don't, The included earbuds were quite adequate. So I give it 5 stars for audio transmission quality and 4 stars for the included earbuds.

Review Summary sez it all.
Battery only took 35 minutes to charge up.
Tested Google Play Music and Spotify on it. All OK.
Then I received a mobile phone call on a an iPhone 7. Loud enough and clear enough on the headset. Adjusted sound volume from phone.
Love that U can use any earbuds that U want.
All in all, I would have to say this is a good product with no apparent issues so far.

Easy to use and carry without a jumble of cables

These things are so easy to use and carry that you tend to forget that it is there until you need it. Everything from the presentation of the Neckband as you open the box to connecting them to your phone and placing them around your neck is so simple. Granted, I did have a little bit of trouble wrapping the cable for my headphones onto the JLab Neckband, but after getting that figured out, it was smooth sailing.
One of the unique features of this Bluetooth Neckband is the ability to use any headset that has a 3.5mm connector to attach to the JLab Neckband. So if you have a preferred set of headphones like a style that loops over your ears, you can use them with this Bluetooth Neckband. When you turn them on and off, you’re greeted with a friendly female voice letting you know that they are on and connected or when they are turning off. Which is in my opinion better than hearing a bunch of beeping noises.
Recently, I took a trip down to Los Angeles and decided to fly instead of doing the drive and to make things easier for me, I have TSA Pre which allows me to avoid the full body scanner and just pass through a metal detector. Long story short, I left my JLab Neckband around my neck, but underneath my collar of my shirt before going through the metal detector and they didn't set it off. Granted, the headphones that I use with the JLab aren't the original ones that came with it, but that's just another convenience of having these JLab Neckband, especially if you're in a rush to get somewhere or someplace.
Overall, a great accessory to have for anyone looking to listen to music on the go while not worrying about cables. You can also have phone conversations, but just keep in mind that if you place the JLab Neckband underneath your collar, you will have to speak up so that the other end can hear you.

A Good Idea

One thing I really like about this item is that I can use whatever earbuds I want to connect to the item. They work well and the battery lasts longer than some other bluetooth headphones I have used before. However, the sound is horrible. I used the earbuds that came with the item to try it out. I could connect earbuds that have a better quality of sound but I believe that the earbuds that come with the item should be what determines if it is a good product or not. So I cannot recommend this item.

Build quality looks great. Initially I thought these would be made of hard plastic and would be uncomfortable sitting around the neck. Instead they're soft and rubberized and very flexible around the neck. I love the material that they're made of. Now the fit of the earbuds are spot on for me. They create a great seal when in the ear. They do come with several other tips. Another highlight is he cable management loop on the back piece that hides your cables, you also can use any headphones you like as the Jlab Gravity allows you to plug in any set you already own. But let me tell you the ones included are no slouch either. I compared them to my iPhone earbuds and frankly I enjoy the sound from the Jlab more. With that said I would definitely recommend this to anyone.

These headphones sound good. They get loud and stay clear. The bluetooth neckband is cool. It's universal so I can use it with any headphones. Also seem to be pretty durable. Definitely a good buy.

Great idea for BYOH (bring your own headphones)

I was surprised that no other company has come up with this idea before (at least not that I know of). If you have a favorite pair of wired headphones that you just don't want to give up, but crave the freedom of wireless, then this product is for you. Pairing was easy, the cable management system is pretty ingenious and the control buttons are big, so they provide a nice, large, tactile surface for pushing without having to look. I would recommend that you bring your own headphones (rather than use the included ones) - I think this is the true purpose of the product. The fact that the company included a pair of earbuds is a nice gesture, but the bluetooth is really meant for your own wired headphones.

Rechargeable, lightweight blue-tooth earbuds

This is my first blue-tooth earbud headset. I've had blue-tooth phone ear/mic sets, but now I can listen to stereo programs.
Charges easily with included cord to USB charge ports. The sync process was easy once I figured the right LED sequence (blue to red flash). .
The charge port cover snaps back to keep the connector dry and clean. The unit rests on your shoulder with a neat wire management wrap. The earbuds have three (3) size pods. The ear pieces are also standard plug in 3.5-mm jack.
Buttons included on neck piece are volume up and down, play/pause (on/off).
only CON is more personal, finding the right fit of the three included ear pods.

After getting replacement earbuds, I was able to use the Gravity Bluetooth Neckband Adapter with no problem. It was easy to setup and pair to my cell phone. it was extremely comfortable to wear the neckband and very lightweight. I found that it was easier to use with the earbuds VS earbuds alone, and that it kept the earbuds in place much better. A great item and it takes very little space when packing for a long trip.

Good headphones for the price

One of my biggest pet peeves with headphones is their earbuds. These ones are super comfortable and dense. I love that I cannot hear the slightest thing going on around me while wearing them, even at lower volumes. The option to use the cradle makes them extremely easy to put around the neck and forget them. All in all, these are great headphones for the price and I would recommend these to anyone looking for an inexpensive, but great quality, set of headphones.

This is an okay headset. The audio quality seems to be on par with other brands of similar size/performance. The battery life seems to hold good as well.
My complaint, which is why I do not recommend this headset, is about the very thing that makes them different. Being this is one of the first headsets that I have seen that has removable/interchangeable earbuds that can be swapped for other earbuds, it is honestly more annoying than it is innovative. The "cable management system" on the back of the headset gets annoying when attempting to wrap the cable in a manner that will keep the earbuds the same length on both the left and right side. It is near impossible to get the cords to be the same length. Once you have the cable wrapped, the cable doesn't want to stay under the flap that is supposed to cover it. All in all, not worth the hassle. I'd look for another brand that has a similar price point.

I was surprisingly challenged to pair this device with my phone. The documentation included with the device did not provide much helpful guidance - for instance, a quick explanation of the behaviors of the light indicator would have been a great help. I charged the unit as directed, but had to return to the pairing activity three separate times before I was actually able to successfully pair the device with my phone. Once I did, I was disappointed at the sound quality, which seemed weak/tinny when compared with other wired and wireless options. In all, while it did get the job done eventually, the complications I had pairing with the device and the at best fair sound quality would prevent me from recommending this device.

The concept is awesome and the bluetooth pairing is flawless. Battery life is also good. Sound will depend on the ear buds but this will not make your earbuds sound worse than a direct connect. Wire management could be better. The real benefit for me is that if the bluetooth battery dies, I still have a pair of earbuds that work. If that is not of any value to you I'd recommend you buy a dedicated bluetooth set. You can get them for about the same price.

Like most humans today, I've got at least 100 pairs of white iPhone headphones. Many never even opened. With this divice, I can use them as a wireless set for on the go, or any other time where using my expensive Bluetooth set would be risky. These would also be great for kids. Find a pair of kid-safe headphones and you don't need to worry about tangled cords!
Sound quality takes a slight dip from the conversion to a Bluetooth format, but otherwise these are definitely a great piece of tech to have in the house!

Cable management issues

The idea behind this product is good on paper. However, when you start wrapping the earbud cord around the back of the neckband, things start to get frustrating. Every time I wrapped the cord in the back of the neck band I could not get the clean look in the pictures.
There is definitely a method to this, but I kept resorting to my other wireless earbuds. Save your money and either buy a cheap Bluetooth adapter to use with your current earbuds, or buy some dedicated Bluetooth earbuds. There are plenty of budget options at this price range.

Attempted to connect the Bluetooth neckband on multiple devices (IPhone, Samsung Note, IPad, Acer tablet) and it would not connect to any device. Tried it multiple days and it still would not connect.
