I was looking for some headphones for my son and I saw these. They are super light and they sound great. What I liked the most is that you can use it with any equipment since they are connected wirelessly by Bluetooth but they can also be connected by cable. It also has an integrated microphone.

Great purchase!!!! My daughter has Autism and loves to wear earphones. These keep her wire free and stay charged for a day and a half. The sound quality is amazing and we love that it can be switched to a wire usage should the charge run out. Would purchase again

If you need a set of headphones for a young kid, then the JLab Buddies is the way to go. I wanted to get these for my almost 8 year old daughter because I wanted her to have a wireless set. That's because she has already had the wired version of these JLab Buddies Over Ear headphones for over a year now and she loves them!
Before the JLab Buddies, we tried several other headphones and she complained about every one. Not so with the JLab. They fit her comfortably and sound great. She even uses them for school.
She was excited to try these out and not be tethered to a device. These bluetooth headphones easily connected to her devices and sounded great. Now she keeps these bluetooth JLab headphones at home and her wired JLab Buddies now live in her desk at her school.
Now we all know that sometimes bluetooth devices get disconnected, or the device has a driver issue and can't find it. When that happens it's usually an easy fix for adults and older kids, but some younger kids may not be as good with computers yet. It's already happened with my daughter. But even though these are bluetooth, they still come with an audio cable that you can use to make them wired, and that's easy enough for a kid to understand. So the other day when my daughter's device disabled bluetooth for some reason, instead of screaming "MOM!" or "DAD!", she just grabbed the cable, plugged it in and kept on using these headphones until I came in later to fix the device.
The decibel limit switch is nice too for making sure the sound can't be turned up so high that it can hurt their ears. My daughter still doesn't even know that switch exists, not on these new bluetooth Buddies and not even on the wired version she's had for over a year which also have the hidden switch. Even on the higher setting it limits the sound to a comfortable level. The lower setting is almost too low, but better for really young kids.
I also like the audio sharing feature, although I haven't really had a reason to use it yet, but it's cool knowing it's there. Basically both sides have an audio input that you use when you want to go wired. But you can also plug in another set of headphones so that someone else could listen to the same thing, and with 2 inputs, you can still use it wired and have a second input for sharing. The second set of headphones doesn't even have to be the same JLab, they can be any headphones with the standard audio plug. I'd imagine this is a great feature for people with multiple kids riding in the back seat during a road trip.
To sum it up I really couldn't be happier with these JLab Buddies, and the fact that my daughter loves them makes them even better.

Tired of listening to cocomelon on 1000% volume?

I’m actually impressed with these kid headphones. After getting tired of listening to cocomelon on full volume on my kid’s tablet, I knew I needed to get them some headphones so I can regain some of my sanity.
My kids are pros on getting cords tangled so I knew wireless is a must. These JLABS are both wireless and wired. The battery life is phenomenal and if you do run out of power during the middle of a road trip, simply plug in the 3.5mm provided cord and your kids can still listen to their favorite shows without bugging everyone in the car. The 3.5mm port can also work as a daisy-chain so your 2nd kid can also listen in on the same content if you plug in wired headphones to the JLAB while the JLAB are running on Bluetooth.
The decibel limiting switch is a real parent pleaser knowing that I can limit the max dB on the headphones. Super cool feature that should easily place this near the top of people’s lists.
Some things to note and things that JLAB could improve on are:
*Decibel limiting switch is backwards in the manual and shown correct on their website
*No battery indicator but there is a voice prompt for battery status
*Auto shut off is 10m if no Bluetooth connection. Doesn’t work with my kid’s fire HD tablet because the screen may be off but the Bluetooth stays connected and doesn’t allow the headphones to sleep.
*Wished the on/off had it’s own separate switch or button. Too long of a press goes into Bluetooth paring mode.
These headphones sound surprisingly good for the price. The ear cup size works great for my 4yr old and is robust enough to withstand kid tantrums. Checks all the boxes for a perfect score from me

Great headphones for elementary school kids at a very reasonable price. We love that they can be both wireless (at home) and wired (at school) without needing to buy additional sets. The quality is good and the volume is setup to prevent kids from harming their hearing.

Honestly, there's pretty much no reason NOT to snag a pair of JBuddies if you have a young'un in your family who is just dying for a set of wireless headphones (or you desperately need them to use a pair because you're sick of listening to whatever they are watching/streaming). Like most of JLab's products, these headphones deliver far more bang for your buck than they have any right to, and these in particular are priced almost criminally low for how good they sound. With one glaring exception, I would recommend them without reservation.
Usability is top notch with controls that are at first easily accessible for a child; but they offer enough additional features that your kids probably won't feel cheated as they become more sophisticated users of typical Bluetooth audio devices. For example, the single large round button primarily functions as a power and BT pairing button, but one or two clicks also let it serve double duty as a play/pause or call answer/hang-up button as well as activate Siri or Google Assistant on the connected phone. The large volume rocker also provides track skip forward and back with a 2-second hold versus a single click for volume adjustments. The JBuddies also offer helpful spoken status prompts like hello (power on), ready to pair, you're connected, battery full, and goodbye (power off).
The earpads and headband coverings are soft leatherette with generous padding, and the headset itself is so light I doubt anyone with a head small enough to fit under the headband would have cause to complain. Headband sizing uses the two wire slider assemblies that hold the earcups onto the headband--the sizing sliders offer enough resistance that they will not easily slide out of position even if the headset is a bit roughly handled or tossed around. The headset does not fold flat however, and the large flat ribbon cables that run from the earcups into the headband are just BEGGING for a kid with hyper-active fingers to start yanking and tugging them out of place. The cables are also long enough that they could inadvertently get crimped in between the earcup and the end of the headband so they have to be handled with some degree of care (probably why JLab recommends them for kids 8 and up).
The JBuddies operate in both wireless and wired modes and the package includes a 3.5mm cable for use the batteries have gone dead (as well as a color-coordinated USB-C cable to charge the batteries back up). The pack-in audio cable also features in inline mic situated below a single push-button for playback control and call answer/hang up using the cable rather than earcup controls. They also offer a very convenient "Share" mode that lets someone with another wired headset (it does not even have to be another set of JBuddies) plug into one of the 3.5mm jacks on either earcup and they can listen to the same audio signal in both headsets. This can be incredibly useful if you have more than one kid who wants to watch the same show or listen to the same music, but you only have one source component or one available BT connection.
Sound quality was surprisingly good--I auditioned them with a variety of acoustic, hard rock, classical, and pop music tracks and found them to offer a pleasing, full-bodied sound. BT lag was incredibly slight--while watching YouTube videos or Disney+ streams, there was barely a hint of AV delay, not enough that I think any kid would rightly notice it during use. Finally, there's the volume limiter switch...a "secret" parental control that allows you to cut the maximum attainable volume of the headset from 95dB to 85dB. The physical switch is hidden underneath the fabric covering of the driver inside the right earcup...it's a shallow switch that is situated high enough under the earpad material that most kids probably won't ever know it's there. This control allows you to limit how loud the audio will be that is squirting down the delicate and still-developing ear canals of your precious little tax deductions; great if you want to wait a few years before they start voluntarily contributing to their own hearing loss through excessive headphone volume when you're not around.
Unlike many of JLab's other headphone offerings, this one does not include a handy neoprene drawstring bag to keep the charging and 3.5mm audio cables together with the headset when not in use. But at a price point this low, that is understandable and probably forgivable as I don't know how many 8-year-olds are necessarily going to keep track of a small nondescript carrying bag everywhere they take the headset as well.
Other than some slight concerns about the durability of the earcup signal wires (as mentioned above), the only other real niggle is the microphone--it's positively awful. On a phone call, we could barely make out our daughter's voice. I tried the JBuddies as well to see if vocal projection, volume, or headset placement was the problem but it wasn't--the microphone pickup is simply abysmal and we stopped trying after four test phone calls. As a set of BT headphones, the JBuddies Pro Wireless are top-notch; but as a *headset* that can be used for making/taking calls, I think your kids may get slightly frustrated at how hard it will be to carry on a conversation using the integrated mic if your experience is anything like ours was. But if microphone issues aren't a concern for you, rush out a grab a pair--the JBuddies really deliver the goods on almost every other front!

Nice Bluetooth Over-the-ear Headphones for Kids

The best way to ensure absolute silence from children is to have a good pair of headphones. It’s even better when they don’t break the bank. My son needed a new pair of headphones, so I figured I would give these a try.
To begin, I think it’s wonderful that JLab is being environmentally cautious with the product’s packaging. I was able to place every piece of the packaging in the recycling bin.
Setup was easy and did not require any instructions. I pressed and held the power button until it turned on and was ready to connect, selected the product on the device, and I was ready to have some peace and quiet.
I used the online manual and getting started sheet to test out the headphone’s features. In trying to adjust the volume limiter, I referenced both resources but was unable to find the switch. The getting started sheet showed it to be under the fabric on the right earpiece, about two-thirds of the way up, while the website’s manual showed it located even higher. In actuality, I finally found the 85 to 95 dB toggle switch at the very top of the right earpiece, directly underneath the pad.
While the headphones don’t provide the best sound quality, it’s more than adequate for children. It also provides parents reassurance that these headphones will protect their ears for years to come. I would recommend this product as an affordable Bluetooth over-the-ear headphone device for kids.

This was right on time for our road trip. It’s a sleek and kid friendly design. It charges reasonably fast. The buttons are located in a great spot and big enough for our kids fingers to find and operate.
My favorite feature is the hearing protection option. It’s operated by switching on the hidden switch, so the kids aren’t aware of it. It keeps the noise levels below 85db so their ears aren’t damaged with high volumes over a period of time. What I don’t like about the switch is that there’s no marking to tell you if you’ve switched it on or off unless I memorize which direction it should be. If it’s off then the max is 95db. I understand it as a hidden feature, but maybe a little dot or identifying mark would help.
We haven’t had the opportunity to try it yet, but we should be able to use and connect in “share mode” to any wired headphone and not just another JBuddies Pro. This is a wonderful and welcomed feature in a headphone.
I wish that it came with a carrying case, to keep the cords and headphones in one place. Kids don’t do a great job at that so that would help in keeping it all in one place.
Setting up on Bluetooth was simple, and we were able to set up on multiple devices. Ear cushions were comfortable and didn’t receive any complaints on a 12 hour drive. These are super simple to operate. Comfortable to wear. Sized just for kids. Kid approved.

We bought these for our little one to use while we are traveling & they have been a life saver without breaking the bank. They hold charge really well and are very comfortable for his ears. Highly recommend these if you are looking for school headphones, traveling, or just so others around don't have to hear YouTube!

Bought these for my grandson. They are perfect for young children. He uses them to play his video games. He is 7 years old and the fit could not be any better. I am sure he will be able to use them for years to come. Since they are rechargeable there is never a time he has look for batteries to keep using them. Easy to pair with his game console and ipad. He did the pairing without any help. Hope they last a long time, but if they don't, I will buy another pair.
