I am listening to these headphones right now, they have a decent sound quality without too much bass but just a touch too light on the treble notes. The built-in switch for the maximum volume is a great touch, allowing the sound to be low enough to be able to hear people talking to the listener but loud enough to hear the sound clearly. Even at full volume, the sound is not too loud, so should be safe even for young ears that are attached to brains that don't think about the results of loud sounds! The construction looks like it would stand up pretty well. The frame is heavy wire around the ear cups and the top is well padded. The ear cups themselves are pretty comfortable and the cable is wrapped in braid that should protect it from friction. The plug is a right angle with a decent strain protector on the end. The design allows the cups to fold inside the main frame and top bow, making a nice, compact package. Two things missing include a volume adjustment on the mic block on the cord and a case or bag that would have helped keep things organized. Overall, a decent design with some good features for a young listener. Certainly not up to sound quality for anyone expecting to have it, but a nice sound to the audio it does deliver. Time will tell how it stands up to my grandkids but for the price and the safety features, I expect they will be worth it.

The Jlab Jbuddies Studio Pro over the ear headphones are a solidly built with great sound quality for kids. The designers at JLab definitely did not take any shortcuts in design as the headphones look and feel great. The ability to fold them is great because they easily fit in the outside pocket of my son's backpack. There is an adjustable headband so they can easily be adjusted for comfort in kids ages 8-16. The braided cord on these headphones is great because it does not get tangled up like man of the headphones I have bought for my son in the past. Some people may consider the length of the cord to be short however I think it is just the right length for most kids. It provides plenty of slack for my son while he is watching something on his kindle. The earcups on the headphones are also very comfortable. My son did not take these off every 20 minutes and complain that they were hurting his ears as he did with a few previous pairs of kids headphones. The fact that they have an inline mic on the cord was great because they worked well for all the school zoom calls. Everyone could hear my son clearly as he was speaking on the call. The headphones also have a limiter switch located behind the mesh of the R earcup that limits the output to either 85db or 95db. I like that I can limit the sound output to 85db so there is little or no chance of hearing loss due to listening to high volumes. Overall the JLab Jbuddies Studio Pro over the ear headphones are a great pair of headphones that any kid would enjoy using on a daily basis

These are fantastic for kids. One feature that help sway me towards these was the extra volume limiting (hearing protection) switch. There is a small switch inside the left ear piece that allows you to set one of 2 db levels so you can decide just how high you want it to go. There is an inline mic on the cord if needed, but my kids have not needed that feature yet. But nice to have especially for this price point. Actually I could see them using the mic if they were distance learning or quarantined from school and wanted to use headphones instead of the speakers and mic on their computer. The headphones do fold up for travel, or putting in the backpack for school. I would say the age recommendation is spot on. Our 4 year old said they were just a little too big for him but our 7 and 10 year old thought they fit perfectly. These have worked really well both on long car rides and just using around the house. We have had other JLAB headphones and have always been happy with the longevity of them. Looking forward to our kids using these for a long time to come.

Overall, it's a good headphone. It has some nice features and it's adjustable. I also like that it fit well over the ear and it shaped like ears. Hopefully, it last. Haven't used it for a long time to know it a quality product.

These headphones are so amazing. They work perfectly. The sound is very clear and HD. It blocks out background sound. It put my pet dog straight to sleep. The colors remind me of the ocean.

My grandaughter says these are the best she has ever used. Ive bought her expensive ones in the past but none she has liked any better than these.

Small earphones keep falling out of one of my ears. Probably oddly formed inside. I love these earphones! They stay on and the sound is great!

Great headphones for the price. Got two pairs for my kids for the volume controls and despite that feature the kids love them!
