Great set of kids headphones. Fun color, nice sound. Perfect size makes them a great fit for all heads. There is nifty little switch hidden inside one ear to allow for volume reduction Which is nice if your kids are like mine and put everything all the way up every time, this will protect their small developing ears from excessive volume. Overall very nice product, not the $300 HiFi’s but they’re perfect for kids.

These JBuddies Pro headphones are perfect for kids who need headphones for school (or just to give parents a break from Blippi). The volume limiter switch is easy to locate for parents to give you piece of mind at protecting your child's hearing. They are comfortable and seem to be well designed to hold up to the demands of young kids. The age says 8 and up, but my twins are 5 with large heads and they fit perfectly.

As far as kids headphones go, JLAB’s new JBUDDIES PRO Headphones are just OK, nothing really special about them, they are designed well but quality and materials are somewhat lacking, still for the price that these retail for should make most parents happy that their kids can get some decent headphones. A somewhat quirky feature of these headphones is a hearing protection switch, if you look at the box you can clearly see a toggle switch on the inside of one of the cups, but if you look at the headphones themselves you will not see it, it is hidden behind the blue mesh, I could see why they would do that to try to hide it from the kids but it just seems like a very quirky way to go about it. If your headphones just don’t sound loud at all try to toggle the switch to the other side. Kids will most likely not even notice or care but the sound quality of these headphones is average at best, they don’t get super loud (which I guess is the point of something like this) but they just don’t sound great, the sound and music sounds a little muffled. These headphones are all around just average, everything from the price, to the quality and features, but for kids I guess that’s good enough.

The best part about them is the fact that I can make sure my child can't crank up the volume. The decibel limiter is great. The overall sound quality is very good as well. I have absolutely no complaints about the headphones, the cord is nice and long, and it's not flimsy like most cords, which means and it can withstand the wear and tear that a child would put on them.

Great for kids 8+. They are stylish, sound good enough (for kids) and allow for enough sound isolation/comfort to help with school work. Pros: Good style Decent sound quality (for kids) Volume limiting Mic, pause play in-cord button Durable Cons: Low volume (even with the switch off) Cheap build Unboxing: There is not much inside the box. You will find the headphones and a warranty. My kid was very excited to try them since they look cool and look like “big kid” headphones, a big upgrade from his Pikachu headphones. They fit him perfectly and required zero setup due to this being the corded version. Sound quality/comfort: As an adult, I would not listen to music on these things. They are not bad but overall muted in the mids and highs. Bass is somewhat more pronounced but it feels like something is missing from the sound. For kids headphones, I would say they sound good though. There seemed to be more volume out of the right speaker compared to the left speaker, maybe some bad wiring/design, maybe it’s just my old ears. My kid won’t notice though. There is a hidden switch in the right ear cup that will change the max volume from 85 db to 95 db. Listening to some music (a challenge since they are for smaller kid heads, not adult noggins), the headphones provided a decent seal and were fairly comfortable. I feel good with my child wearing these for extended periods of time as they will not hurt and not damage their hearing. Durability: The structure is sound. I do not fear them getting major damage if they are dropped. The body is lightweight and plastic and will scuff with falls but won’t break easily. The foam and pleather are average and will rip if handled poorly but this is no different from most headphones. The same goes for the top foam. The cable is braided and highly durable with a 90 degree 3.5mm jack. Overall, this is a good pick for most children as they are durable, sound decent, provide little distraction, and are very comfortable for school or games.

My son has a small head and thick long unkempt hair. Gaming headphones have always been a problem for him due to being too bulky or too heavy or too uncomfortable because he refuses to style his hair and the ensuing rats nest of tangles makes things difficult. He put these things on and immediately proclaimed they are light and comfortable. They work great with his Nintendo switch and his Fortnite buddies said they had no problems hearing him during the game.

My 5 year old is obsessed with these headphones. We've tried several other brands and styles and these are the only ones he likes to wear. The different style ear cups made it easy to find the right fit. The cord is a great length when he uses his switch or iPad. We have had zero issues with the headphones. I feel like the volume range is reasonable for a kids product and they have good sound quality. I'd highly recommend these.

I ordered these for my 9 year old son to use with his online coursework and for those times when he’s listening to music and I don’t want to hear it. I asked him how he liked them and he said they were fine, which really didn’t tell me anything so I used them on my iPhone with an adapter. These are basically good enough for my child but nothing really special about them. No awesome features, no deep bass, etc etc. These are basically your standard headphones with a nice finish to them. I would recommend for a child but no one else.

JLABS is one of the brands I’ve come to appreciate in recent years. This JBUDDIES PRO Over-Ear Kids Headphone definitely fits right in with their existing lineup of audio products, and the sound quality is what I’d expect. To highlight some notable features: Headphones are lightweight and comfortable to wear over ‘longish’ periods of time Soft, cushioned faux leather adjustable headband and swivel ear cups Ear cups are ergonomically shaped for smaller “child-sized” ears Colorful (pretty turquoise blue), flexible braided nylon cable reduces tangling up Easy-to-reach mic ‘click’ controls are on the cord - play/pause, track forward/backward, answer/end call Headphones are compact in size and fold up for storage or to be portable This headset has fairly decent audio quality for a child’s headset. Nothing spectacular, but it doesn’t sound cheap, hollow, or tinny. Yet it does lack the depth of bass and richness of audio found in more expensive headsets. However, it’s definitely possible for an adult with a head on the “smaller side” having average to ‘smallish’ ears, to be able to use this headset comfortably with the ear cups adjusted to be pulled out to their fullest setting. The JBUDDIES PRO Over-Ear Kids Headphone is a good headset, at a good price point. For a basic beginner headset, even young gamers, this is a decent option.

I wanted to find headphones that would be easy for my elderly parents to use, and these fitvthe bill perfectly. Now they can watch a movie on a long flight, and hear every word.
