They would de-synch every once in a while or provide poor quality of sound, which is very distracting mid workout. That stated it happened infrequent enough that it wasn't too big of a deal. The built in equalizer was a nice thought, but anything that wasn't the recommend setting was pretty muddy. The ability to hear ambient noise as a choice was probably the best thing about it.

The sound quality however lacks the full frequency range of say ipods, boze, or some of JBL's other higherend products. Calls are good and I've had no complaints from callers asking me to speakup or saying they can't hear me.

These ear buds are not good for outdoor exercise

I have tried every trick I know to get them to perform, but it is hopeless. I have much cheaper ones that are so much better. These are useless for any outdoor exercise because the outside noise makes it impossible to hear any music. I am planning to return them.
