The handles can be aggravating as you have to constantly adjust for smooth movement but in general it does the job. It is sturdy and the height is good for what I needed it for.

I purchased this yesterday as “open box - excellent”. Like another reviewer mentioned, Best Buy employees are recently horrible at verifying if an item is complete. This tripod also showed up without the plate the actually attach it to anything.
As for the tripod itself, I like the small size, but there are a few issues.
The legs don’t lock into place at all. They’re just kind of free wheeling it. They may be able to be tightened at the tops, but they’re able to freely move and wiggle around the monopod extension in the middle. It just feels flimsy.
The top has a cool mechanism where the topmost handle can swivel around to not be in the way of the other one, but the way of the rotation is just funky. No one needs to rotate their camera that way… and because there’s no ident to where it’s level on a flat surface, it’s just weird.
Other that those couple main gripes, the tripod feels solid and is indeed compact. I would pay $50 for it at normal price. Not worth the $100.

This Tripod is an excellent gift to a person who takes a lot of pictures. This is why I picked this gift for my daughter. This is easy to use and the instructions are perfectly laid out that it’s very easy to follow. You will be amaze how easy to follow the instructions. I’am 70 years old and I had no problem using this Tripod. Thank you.

Great Camera Tripod at Reasonable Price

This camera tripod does the job very well supporting a large DSLR type camera. Being primarily made of aluminum, it does not suffer from the same poor quality we previously experienced with another tripod made primarily of plastic. The only thing missing is bracing between the legs when the tripod legs are spread out. Folding braces would make this tripod pretty near perfect.

Tripod was excellent, worked like a charm. The phone adapter though could have been better but other than that the actual tripod itself was stable. The best part is the reach that it offered.

Its not for heavy cameras, but other than that I love it. It seems like it would be able to still hold a heavy camera…but the box says its not for really heavy cameras.

Great tripod, easy to set up. Easy to carry around with its included carrying case. Fully extended, four segments on the three legs the neck, stands at least a head taller than me. Comes with a cell phone mount if you want to use your phone so options are there

Came with phone mount which was funny as I had bought a phone mount with this tripod. Got to save money by taking the extra mount back and worked out perfectly. We now use it for TikTok lives with our ferrets.
