It allows me to secure it on branches, poles, rocks, whatever I can get the arms around to get that photo or video.

Good small bendy tripod

Decent Little Tripod

I like that the legs are easy to adjust and grippy, and that it can wrap around things to hold my camera on. I don't like that the legs are near impossible to get back straight.
